I wanted to love this place, particularly after quickly learning their patio is pup friendly. But similar to others, we had what I believe was a not so great server. Hostess, super friendly and welcoming - seated us right away. The restaurant has a very cool industrial and open vibe and I loved the aesthetic. We chose the patio as it was still pretty mild in terms of warmth and I could quickly tell that our server was not the best in comparison to the other two ladies with tables on the patio. Without getting into a complete diatribe (I could write paragraphs) about what happened - I will simply say our server did not have a good grasp in ensuring his assigned tables were taken care of. After being there 50 minutes, we made the decision to leave after only receiving our shrimp cocktail appetizer early on and never seeing our two sandwiches. We had no idea where our server was (he did not come outside often) so I just went up to the front to settle the bill and the manager was with the hostess up there. We will just say that within a minute of the manager being looped in - our food magically appeared (albeit not very warm) and our server clueless that he had literally told us 30 minutes prior that our "food will be right out". He ended up blaming it entirely on the kitchen to us (I do not believe him - I saw other servers quickly and efficiently bringing food to their tables) The manager was kind enough to comp both sandwiches. My husband said the French Dip was very good. My sandwich could have been good if not great except the bottom bun was soaked through, maybe from sitting somewhere too long. The menu has some really great items and while our experience was not so great from an overall perspective I would maybe come back given the pup friendly patio and as long as I did not have the same server we had this first visit.

Had a great experience at Miramonte . The food was delicious. The service was excellent! Highly recommend the artichokes. We also got a couple orders of fish and chips, which were fantastic. I can't wait to come back here. I can't stop thinking about the artichokes.

What a solid experience from start to finish! It makes such a difference--especially when dealing with food allergies--when the waitress knows every ingredient in each dish without having to run back to the kitchen. That level of knowledge and confidence immediately put us at ease. Service was excellent all around. The cast iron cornbread is an absolute must. It's incredible--but be warned, you'll want at least four people to help tackle it! I may have gone a little overboard because by the time our fish and chips arrived, I was nearly full. The fish was light, flaky, and perfectly cooked. The fries came out slightly cold, but they happily replaced them with a fresh, hot batch right away. My wife really enjoyed the coleslaw (not usually my thing), and even though we were stuffed, we couldn't resist ordering the Baked Alaska. That toasted marshmallow exterior over ice cream and sponge cake was the perfect sweet finish--delicious and beautifully done. Huge portions, great prices, a beautiful atmosphere, comfortable seating, and drinks, appetizers, entrées, and dessert all for under $100. I honestly can't say enough good things about this dinner. Definitely a must-stop spot!

Pro tip: You can use your Amex Platinum or Gold Resy benefit, which will automatically apply even if you did not make a reservation on Resy. Food: 10/10. I had the pan seared salmon with capers on a bed of spinach and mashed potato. Perfectly done and a nice thick cut of salmon. For dessert, I had their signature Key Lime pie, which did not disappoint. Service: Excellent. Ambiance: classy. Last note: I am truly flummoxed by the sub-4 stars on Yelp. This restaurant has a much higher rating on the Resy app, and I would absolutely eat here again. The place was busy and had a lot of well dressed people in it. Very vibey spot.

A coworker recommended this place and I'm glad I listened. Nice clean modern designs in a prime location. Make reservations because this place fills up fast! I ordered the onion rings, cornbread and filet. Trust me don't leave here without trying the cornbread! Hatch green Chile with jack cheese and sweet corn topped with honey butter in a cast iron. My southern heart and taste buds were pleased. Filet was cooked to temp. Medium paired nicely with the blue cheese topping and whipped mashed potatoes. My service Karly was awesome. Truly attentive, personable and kind. Next time I'll ask to be sested by the fire place or on their beautiful patio

Miramonte is a stylish, dressed-up spot that serves casual food prepared really well. I stopped in with friends on a Saturday night to catch the end of the UofA game and grabbed a drink. They have a solid selection of drinks good beer, wine, and spirits. And if the onion rings were any indication of the rest of the menu, the food is going to be excellent. The breading was flavorful and fried perfectly. Our server was friendly and attentive. We had a good experience with the staff. Definitely worth checking out.

Our party of seven had a blast last night at Miramonte, with tasty cocktails and mocktails, the phenomenal cornbread (talk about eating dessert first!), great food and an awesome nightlife vibe. The bar is absolutely beautiful. I do have to agree with other reviews about the noise factor, but it will not stop me from returning! Excellent service, and of course the best of company rounded out a great night...and weekend leftovers.

Excellent service and great food! The ribs were fall off the bone exactly as described. The onion dip is a great appetizer to start. Ordered the beet mock tail and added vodka- amazing and refreshing!

We had a table in the bar area which is close to the 2 big screen TV and the bar. We ordered mostly appetizers and our favorite was the cornbread. It was cooked in an iron skillet with a big dollop of butter and crispy outside and moist inside. We shared an order of fish and chips and substituted onion rings for fries. Overall it was a good meal.

A beautiful modern space for lunch or dinner. I like the vibes and decor of the place but the echos of all the chatter were loud and distracting. I'm hoping the acoustics can somehow be fixed because I came before it was busy and I can't imagine how it would be during peak. I noticed that the hostess took calls outside. Our server was great and attentive. Food was enjoyable and the drink menu is extensive. I got the elderflower mocktail and it tasted fresh and lovely. For food, I started with the ahi tuna tartare and had the pan seared salmon. Everything was tasty. One minor thing was that the beurre blanc had the consistency and look of melted butter (looks like the butter separated) and it pooled around the potatoes. I ended up eating around it.

Great service, great staff and tasty food and drinks. I love the vibe. There was a low hum of chatter coupled with jazz music. All the wait staff were friendly and interesting to talk with while I had food and drink at the bar. The 50/50 martini was tasty and clean tasting the way a martini should and extra yummy because of the blue cheese stuffed olives. I had the fish and chips. They didn't skimp on the portions. The fish was tasty, meaty and the beer batter was light and crispy. The tartar sauce was classic and the chips were still crispy even though they were the bed for the fish. Unpretentious and a great hang out spot in my neighborhood.

Love the vibe. Love the staff. Most of the food and menu is wonderful. Had the steak tartar. The tartar was excellent. The bread served with it was a total fail. Made no sense how it was cooked and sliced. Neither worked. But the tartare was great. The oysters and how they were served was very satisfying. The fish and chips were a winner. Nice cocktails and nice choices.

Had lunch at this new spot, and it is a nicely designed restaurant. I love the look and feel of the bar especially very clean modern. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good. I ordered the grilled fish of the day which was swordfish and coleslaw. The reason I gave a 4 star is just for this, the swordfish was server over the coleslaw, which caused the fish to taste like the coleslaw sauce. I would have preferred it to be on the side and not on top, but maybe someone would like it that way. We also had the ahi tuna app which was amazing with wonton chips. The chicken under a brick with kale and panzanella was very flavorful and the chicken under was cooked amazingly. The fish and chips was very good as well. I will be back to try lunch or dinner again for sure. As usual go out and give them a try, it is worth it.

Parking is in the back and seemed pretty crowded even though I visited during an "off" time -- around 2pm -- for lunch. Still, I eventually found a spot and didn't have to walk too far. The inside of the shop is nothing fancy: order at the window and pick up when your name is called. There are a few 2-person tables inside by the order window and some outdoor tables. There may be some tables in the front, but I didn't make it up there. I had the full-szed Badger as it comes standard (Steak, Pepper Jack, Grilled Onion, Grilled Mushroom, Grilled Pepper, Grilled Jalapeño, Lettuce, Pickles, Chipotle Ranch, Garlic Spread) on Ciabatta bread. Even though I thought I was hungry, it was a LOT of sandwich and I could have been fine with the half. The place was empty save for two other people waiting on orders and they departed quickly upon receiving their sandwiches. The woman at the counter was friendly and helpful while I decided what I wanted to order and offered some suggestions. I sat at one of the small tables and enjoyed my hot, fresh sandwich: the sandwich was both temperature hot and spicy hot, thanks to the really nice jalapeños! I'l definitely come back!

Folks behind the counter are very friendly. The only thing I noticed is they seem to struggle with a really clunky point of sale system. There were many looks and gasps of bewilderment from the two folks trying to ring up orders. This significantly slowed down the long line. They have weird policies around adding chicken to the Bobbi salad. It literally makes no sense to charge $3.50 to add chicken to that salad when it costs $2.99 to add it to any other salad. It's the same amount of chicken, according to the folks behind the counter, but they have to do what the clunky point of sale system tells them to do. Otherwise the food is good and it's a decent spot to grab a note to eat. I recommend the bullrider wrap. Don't add chicken to your Bobbi salad. Mayhem.

It lacked the signature pink color, sweetness and moisture expected. Instead it probably was warmed on a griddle and resulted in a dark brownish color with most of the moisture absent. Then assembled ala a grilled cheese sandwich on the griddle resulting in the bread loosing its body. The amount of meat was probably a third of what is normally provided. It came with 2 small pickle spears which bore no resemblance to any flavor profile I've ever tasted and were totally inedible. I also tried a side order of their potato salad. It's consistency was ok but was bland and needed seasoning. Finally I had a can of Dr. Brown's Celray soda which lived up to it's reputation. This place is located in an artsy / entertainment district close to downtown. When we went, there was road construction nearby that made getting here more challenging. Once we located it, the next challenge was parking. We visited around noon on a Saturday. There are no large parking lots, so you have to find something on-street. We ventured a couple of blocks off the main street and found something. However, the signage wasn't really clear on whether you had to pay on weekends or not. We accessed the parking app via a QR code, but it told us that our space 'was not available', despite the fact that we were in the space. A guy leaving the space next to us confirmed that parking *was* free on weekends, so we trusted that and walked to the restaurant. In retrospect, I think the app meant that we did not need to pay, but 'not available' seems a bit vague for that... The restaurant is located on a strip of old storefronts that now house restaurants, record shops, etc. There was a lot of pedestrian traffic out front, including a homeless guy asking for change. The atmosphere was sort of a loud, slightly cramped dive bar. I don't mean that in a bad way, but that was the vibe. The music was loud - none of it was familiar but I didn't hate it. I guess my point is that if you are looking for a quiet spot for lunch, this is probably not it. We initially were offered a table on their covered patio. We left one person there while sorting out parking, but when we came back they had a booth inside so we grabbed that instead. The patio seemed shaded and semi-comfortable, other than a loud barking dog. We browsed the menus and ordered our food. We all got half-and-half combos (soup/salad or sandwich/soup). The only issue was that the soups came in a bread bowl. I was able to finish my soup, but felt bad about not eating more of the bowl. If I'd had the option, I would have gotten a plastic bowl. The salad was pretty big, despite being only half. I finished most of it. We ended up having sufficient leftovers from others such that we took them back to our hotel (a relatively short drive) and finished them the next evening. All the food was tasty. This wasn't what I was expecting, but I'd consider eating here again given the right circumstances / group.
