This restaurant is often mentioned on foodies of Tucson Facebook group, especially when somebody asks for recommendation for fish and chips. So I ordered it but I was disappointed. I lived in New Zealand in the past and I have had many good fish and chips. However, their pork chop was excellent and I'm not really a pork person. Our server was absolutely outstanding. She was so sweet and so friendly. I don't really go to a sports bar usually, but if I ever want to watch Sun sporting games, I will pick this place

Great neighborhood tavern in the heart of Tucson that also serves amazing food! The service is attentive and friendly and the ambiance is warm, welcoming with a hit of a sports bar. There is plenty of bar seating and table seating. The adult beverage selection is vast and the food menu had something for everyone. The spinach steak salad is my go to and it never disappoints. If you are in need of a good meal and/or tasty beverage this is the place to go!

We went to Trident Grill for the first time yesterday. I must say it was the best seafood platter ever! It was just as good or BETTER than anything I have ever had on the Oregon coast!

I'm surprised I haven't written a review about the Trident on Speedway as I've been there many times over the years. The beer selection is pretty good and the food is always good. The portions are large. The service most of the time is pretty good, but today I was wondering if we had a server. She finally came around and was good. One thing I would prefer is a better, cleaner restroom, but it's probably an older building/location so that may be a large capital investment to get going.

My daughter and I stopped by Trident Grill for dinner after our workout, and we were genuinely impressed. The atmosphere was lively with the football game on, but the highlight of our visit was our server, Thalia. She was outstanding from start to finish, patient while I took my time deciding, incredibly informative, and genuinely personable. She never rushed us and made excellent recommendations. I kept going back and forth between the Paleo Bowl, a salad, the Reuben, the clam chowder, and even the chicken tenders. In the end, I went with the Reuben, and Thalia suggested adding a cup of soup on the side. Perfect call. I also tried the tenders, and they were delicious. Great food, great atmosphere, and exceptional customer service. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Great service, the place was packed for a Saturday. Wonderful ambiance. The burger was delicious and the BBQ sauce was very tasty. I look forward to returning and trying something different.

Was in town for Family Weekend for U of A. Found this place to have a bite and watch the game. It was packed. Got seated after about 15-20 mins. Food was good. Service was friendly. Not a bad sports bar.

I learned of this place from a Tucson foodie on IG. Excellent food, I enjoyed the pub ambiance, and the service was excellent. My waitress Heather was super sweet and helpful when helping us navigate the menu.

Great place for fish n chips! It's a pub if you will with TV's for all the latest sports. The menus are vast, but the go to is the fish n chips. Crispy house coating around the fish which is moist and flavorful. Comes with house cut fries and slaw. Great value and you won't leave hungry for sure. The staff are great engaging and always appear to be enjoying their job. Ok do you use malt vinegar on your fish n chips?

Great service and the fish n chips is as good as reported elsewhere. Nice, complete menu, lots of drink choices.

Location on Craycroft was too noisy. More a bar hang out than restaurant. Location by UA much nicer.

We needed a little more time to choose the right beer. My partner wanted a pilsner, but unfortunately they didn't have one available at the time, so we went with their famous Barrio Blonde. I've had Barrio Blonde on many occasions at other places, but this one tasted unusually bitter and a bit flat. It seemed like the beer may have gotten warm at some point and was later cooled again, affecting the flavor. We were hungry, so we ordered the patty melt. The burger was good, with a flavorful patty and perfectly toasted bread. The bathrooms were also very clean, which is always appreciated. Overall, service was friendly and attentive, but the beer quality this visit was disappointing.

Great burgers and onion rings, great bar food in general. Surprisingly it's a nice place to take our toddler because it's loud in a way her random pterodactyl schreeches aren't too disruptive. It's got a respectable beer selection and a nice nook filled with pool tables. There's also an extensive menu of sandwiches, burgers, and bar food. I know locals love it, but I just really don't like how they operate here because they can't seem to decide if they want to be a real bar or a sit-down restaurant. You'll hardly have space to roam and you can't really accommodate a group larger than 4 people. Service is good, but the seating is cramped. There is nothing uniquely good about the food (I can mostly say it is somehow even greasier than you expect it to be), so you may as well enjoy some snacks and conversation somewhere a little more comfortable.
