    Wings. 3 of each flavor
    Jeff David G.

I've been searching Tucson for nearly a decade to uncover the best wings in town and I'm very happy to announce that The District is the reigning champion. A group of us have gone on Wednesday nights and we always have a great time. It's a laid back atmosphere with super friendly staff that appreciates the greatness of wings and ranch. They have music bingo on Wednesday nights to pair with dollar wings. Each of the 7 dry rubs/sauces are fantastic and I go from flavor to flavor knowing my current favorite is whatever is in my mouth at the time. No reason to have a million wing flavors if they have 7 nailed, so try them all!

Great food. We had the Vegetarian Burger which they rather unappetizingly call "A Fungus Among Us". It was quite good for a non-meat burger. The chips served with it were quite good and it's nice to find a place in Tucson doing house chips. The side salad is generous enough to almost be an entree and the house citrus dressing was wonderful. The thin cut fries were great too. Although a fresh made version on par with the chips would be a nicer complement to the meal. Dessert options while sparse were fantastic. We had the Mini Caramel Churros with Vanilla Bourbon Gelato. They were simply fantastic. The gelato was delicious and the caramel bourbon drizzle perfect! All in all a great meal with great service. Sunday evening seems to be a slow night so great for avoiding crowds and the usual drawback of a bar and restaurant... over intoxicated patrons.

I came here with a meet up group a bit ago and had a great time! We were there for the all day Monday happy hour, and found that when I got there around 6:30 PM, I was the only table present. My party came and gradually and grew to around 20 or so people. The servers were very kind and patient , and the food came timely as well. I really like their menu. There were so many things I wanted to try, but I ended up getting wings. I've got the lemon pepper and Jamaican. They were cool. The stand out for me here was the service and the options. I really love that the happy hour allows for people to get off work and still enjoy a happy hour. I will definitely be back!

Awesome find! We took a long bike ride and were dying for salads and beer. Chicken Caesar with blackened shrimp added. BAM! It was so excellent someone online said you've gotta get this so I did!

Came in on a Tuesday night and didn't know it was trivia night. We were asked if we had a reservation and we didn't, but they were accommodating and got us a table. The food was very good. The wings are always delicious. The portobello fries were our favorite. The texture of a perfectly fried batter and a softer mushroom was perfect. The place is busy on Tuesday Trivia night a reservation is recommended. The decor of the place is modern and clean with a nice color scheme. Definitely a cool spot to hang out in on Campbell. This is an awesome business that is Woman Owned.

I take frequent trips to Tucson and I have to say this was by far the best dinner experience I've had so far. I was greater the moment I walked in and was seated at the bar pretty much instantly. I came in around 5 and expected the place to be a lot more busy than it was but it had a great atmosphere and really laid back. I also have to give major props to the bartender she was fantastic, I'm horrible with names and I don't remember it but we had a nice chat about things to do around Tucson and different areas around California. All in all I would definitely recommend people to come and try this place out from the service alone BUT I also have to give praise to the food. I love a good burger but I'm not a Mac n cheese fan at all. But I stepped outside my normal box today and tried the Mac Daddy Spin burger and legit told my wife that it was the best burger I've ever had. The idea behind those burgers is genius and they're way superior to most burgers I've tried in the last 5 years at least!! So thank you for a great meal and a great experience!

I have been wanting to check out this newer place near work for a while and finally made it in- I'm so happy I did! The District has immediately made its way onto my favourites list. We got the pretzel bites as an app and I got The Fix, which was very Baileys forward (which I loved), and for my main I got the Mushroom Swiss Spin Burger, which came with au jus. I have never encountered this type of burger before and was very impressed! It was very good and very fun to try something a little bit new. I also got the caesar salad instead of fries but their french fries that my mom got were amazing. Their cheese sauce that comes with the pretzel bites was also a standout. The owner and our waiter, Alexis, were both super nice and helpful with recommendations and information, and just very friendly in general. I also want to add that our food came out SUPER fast and was very hot, so it's definitely a great spot if you want something fresh from the kitchen. In love with the District and will be coming back!

The District Bites n Brew = new neighborhood fave unlocked! Had an absolute blast with the girlies indulging in some seriously tasty Friday night eats at the newest spot on Campbell just south of Fort Lowell (in the old Pistache building)! The prices were very reasonable and the portion sizes are generous. The decor is super cool and everything was very clean and well put together. Ok - onto the food: Starters: Fried pickle spears (crispy perfection) + house-made chicharrones drizzled with hot honey and dusted with cajun spice (hello crunch!) Mains: the Mac Daddy Spin Burger + creamy cheese dipping sauce, the Prickly Pear BBQ Chicken Flatbread on a killer Cauliflower crust, and The Patty Flat flatbread --all were a flavor explosion Dessert line-up: Apple Crisp, Mini Caramel Filled Churros, PB&J Press, and Vanilla Bourbon Gelato (yes, we tried them ALL and regret NOTHING because #nodessertleftbehind) Special shoutout to our amazing server Maddi for being an absolute gem--attentive, friendly, and full of good vibes! We went early evening and it wasn't crowded but by the time we finished up every table was full so get there early to grab a seat. I saw a poster that they also have Trivia Night and live music so will be back to check that out soon. In addition to the dining room there was also a full bar, pool table and shuffle board along with TVs throughout so it'd be a great place to watch a game! My understanding is that it's a Veteran owned business which makes it extra cool (thank you for your service). If you haven't been to The District yet, you're seriously missing out. Go hungry and thank me later!

Well...not bad. Ordered egg rolls. Tasty but doughy...not cooked through. Nice sauce. Had flatbread and salad lunch special. Again not bad. Good ingredients, flatbread not cooked through and not enough seasoning. Salad dressing was very nice. They do not have coffee. Neither hot or iced. Service was nice. The place smelled like lacquer or paint thinner. Not nice at all. Maybe they should not have been open. Other than that it was clean.

Warm welcome from Gabriel & Tracy owners of The District (formerly Pastiche) on Campbell! Modern upbeat sweet vibe. Clean sweet airy feel. The food was fresh hot and well seasoned. Check it out!!!!

Annette M was our server and she was phenomenal! This is my first time here, and I do plan to come back. They opened in April a Sports bar with good drinks, music and good food. We sat down at a low top table, they have a pool table And a few other games.Cute that they have a lottery machine, but it was not working when we were there. To drink I got a Southern Mexican candy drink: vodka prickly pear syrup, Chamoy, tajin rim. I also had a Peach boba breeze (with popping boba) . For an appetizer I had Potstickers (delicious w the sweet sauce). I got The district burger (with caramelized onions and added bacon). I definitely recommend to go with the tin roof fries. Season will, and thicker cut.

We have come here a few times and really like vibe. Everyone is nice and place is fun. They have great weekly specials and happy hour. Our bartender told us to check in on FB and we would get a free Chicharrones. They were fresh and tasty. I love the pickle spears and the wings are good. Everything is made in house! Overall this place is a neighborhood bar with good food and drinks.

The service was terrible! I went with 3 friends. While we were seated promptly, they ran out of menus (even though the restaurant was half empty) and we had to share. The wait staff was very unorganized and it took about 45 minutes from the time we sat down to place our orders for food. We all had beers and half of them were flat! They brought us new ones which weren't as bad as the first ones but still not great. And then they charged us for both. The flatbread was great as an appetizer. The truffle fries were also good. I did not like the fungus burger. It was a smash burger but lacked flavor. And for dessert we shared the apple crisp which was a letdown, tasting like a store bought croissant with some sweet apple compote. The area was clean and the food was edible, making this 2 stars and not 1. Very disappointed with the service and the quality of the food.

I absolutely love Graze. It's my go-to spot for when I want a burger meal that doesn't leave me…read morefeeling heavy and over-fed. They have options for grass-fed beef on your burger as well as veggie and turkey burger options. They also have the best sweet potato tots and I feel like that's kind of rare -- some places have fries but tots aren't always found in sweet potato form. Also, the sauces are plentiful and the toppings for the burgers are generous, with unique free additions like jalapeños and mushrooms and onions. Most places will charge you extra for those kinds of toppings. Their shakes are delicious as well, and they often have seasonal shakes with special flavors. They sometimes have special prices for things but even when they don't they have really good prices in general compared to everyone else. Oh and if you want something smaller, they even have a hot dog on the menu.

In addition to the usual toppings, lettuce, red onion, tomato, and Graze sauce, I added grilled jalapeños, spicy mustard and cheddar cheese. I neglected to see ketchup on their toppings list due to order anxiety, but my burger and fries were so good, I didn't need it. The burger and toppings weren't overly juicy and the brioche bun didn't get soggy. I was really surprised how well the paper wrapping stayed intact and I didn't have to deal with any messiness. The fries were also really good. They remind me of fresh McD fries - the outside hot, crispy, and lightly salted and soft on the inside. I should have tried the seasonal shake which is peanut butter, because Graze's shakes look good and I'm a peanut butter fan. Hopefully, my next visit will be soon and I'll grab this shake then. Graze burgers are super good and am not sure why there aren't more than two locations.

I had been wondering about Truland for quite a while now and am very happy that I finally made it…read more I arrived a few minutes after opening and there was only one other party there. There's some outdoor seating; the bar is right by the entrance and the rest is a fairly spacious dining room. The host and my server were very nice and attentive. The burger was super juicy and I was surprised by how well the bun held up, nothing disintegrated and the burger toppings did not fall out with each bite. The garlic fries were covered in garlic, the potatoes were fried well and were not oily or soggy. I did order the cookie butter banana pie to go and should have taken a picture of it prior to driving off because when I got home, the pie had fallen and melted a bit. The flavors of caramel and butter were a little bit stronger than the banana, but it wasn't too rich and I paired it with some coffee, it was all really good. I would order all of this again and can see why Truland is popular.

I wish I had better things to say, but today's visit to Truland felt a bit underwhelming overall…read more We chose Truland since it's the closer option to Oro Valley compared to Graze. Our waiter was kind, but the service was a bit inconsistent throughout the meal. The outdoor seating is a nice option, especially on a beautiful evening, though the cushions could definitely use some refreshing and cleaning. Now, food-wise, it was a mixed experience. My husband ordered the Baja Shrimp Sandwich, which felt more like an appetizer than a full entrée. I had a salad with added salmon--it was fresh and well-prepared, and the salmon itself was cooked perfectly, but the portion of salmon was tiny and didn't feel worth the added cost. My teenager enjoyed the Early Riser burger with a side salad. The truffle fries were solid, but the side salad felt overpriced for what it was. Overall, the experience just didn't quite match the price point. I really wanted to like it more, and it's honestly surprising to me that, with the same ownership as Graze, the experience felt so different.

Places are successful because they stay the course and do what they do best. Today we went with the four meat platter, perfect amount for two people, brisket, pulled pork, turkey and sausage. With four side of coleslaw, mac and cheese, potato salad and cornbread. All meats are still sauced unless requested "on the side", but not so much to overwhelm the meat taste. Juicy flavorful pulled pork. Delicious smoked turkey. Brisket was just slightly dry but the sauce and nice bark made it enjoyable. The sausage was AMAZING, juicy and packed with flavor. Coleslaw in my opinion, could use a little more "wetness" but it was still delicious. What can I say about the mac and cheese and potato salad, people from the south, Texas to the Carolina's just know how to get it done. The "Texas Sweet Tea", if you are a diabetic do not drink, however this is a true southern tea, it's done the same all across the south, sugar with some tea thrown in. Four meats, four sides and two drinks with tip $50, not bad for two people, I've definitely spent more for food that didn't even come close to this. Once again Smoky Mo you did not disappoint. If you are a BBQ person this is STILL the best of Tucson. Get out and support this small local business!
