We wanted a quiet, comfortable restaurant near the airport, and after reading several reviews, SOL Bar & Grill was exactly what we hoped to find! It was a perfect place to meet someone who had just flown in to TIA. It's a short drive over from the airport with lots of comfortable booths, and plenty of free parking. Our server Justin, was awesome - super friendly, and understood from the get-go that we would be hanging out for a few hours, waiting for someone else's flight to arrive. The food and drink selections were plentiful, and the place went from being relatively quiet to hopping with customers of all ages, to quiet again. Justin handled all the tables, making sure to check on us, too. Before we left, we complimented his ability to multitask with such an upbeat attitude - always smiling - which added to how much we enjoyed our experience. We ordered the hummus plate, the salmon entree, and the apple pecan salad and all were delicious. Well, first of all, this is a hotel restaurant/bar. We were informed by our server that they accept room charge or debit/credit card only. Kitchen is s l o w. Chips, salsa, Guacamole and SOL tacos should take no more than 10-15 minutes. Asking to top off waters was a real test of skills. Salsa is spicy. Don't say you weren't warned. I thought it was good but my friend, not so much. She said the Guacamole was also spicy. The beef on the tacos was crunchy. That was a first. Interesting clientele... I suppose because we're by an airport, in a hotel, that all those things play a big part. Food - mediocre. Ambience - it's a bar/restaurant, not much more to say. Located in the main building of the Four Points, my brother and I visited for "Happy Hour" which is from 3 pm - 6 pm. Our drinks were half price and there were some appetizer specials as well. For us, we just shared the garlic parmesan fries which were excellent. They really hit the spot. My Dragoon IPA was also half price at $4.00. We sat at the bar which was pretty empty at the time. Our waiter did a great job getting us beer refills. I can't attest to their main menu as far as quality of food, but the variety looked pretty good and the prices were reasonable for an airport hotel bar. read more

This inhouse hotel restaurant is unusual... it's really good! The breakfast buffet is expansive, with a large selection and a variety of items - much, much more than most hotel breakfast offerings. This hotel resto is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner - plus a really good bar! Their offerings run the gamut from Appetizers, lunch, snacks and dinners that include: Buffalo Wings; Loaded Fries; Sea Salted Pretzel Bites; Burgers; Grilled Chicken Sandwich; Cheese Steak; Salads; Steak Frites; Shrimp Tacos; Pasta Entrees; Habanero Barbecued Pork Ribs and then some. The seating is ample, comfortable with either booth, chair or high-top accommodations. We stopped in for a very, very good morning starter after coffee. My breakfast consisted of perfectly soft scrambled eggs, thinly cut long strips of bacon, a tender, juicy and tasty sausage, incredibly good home fries as well as something not found in many hotels eat joints - buttered and cheesed grits. And being a grits connoisseur, I was in hog heaven with their great rendition of it. This is a little hidden gem I was happy to discover is near my home! We did a walk in for a party of 10 and they were able to accommodate no problem, we didn't even have a wait. The vibe is very nice and feels elevated for a little hotel which is nice with a beautiful black fountain in front that makes for a really cute photo op spot. Its very spacious and the seating is comfortable. The server and bartender were very nice and heavy handed not he pours ;) The food was very good, too. I was obsessed with the cauliflower bites, I highly recommend them! No complaints on any of the dishes or drinks we had, and overall, we had a great experience here. I will say pricing is pretty high, but I feel like it's on par with many other hotel restaurants, and I felt that the quality of everything was worth it. We picked a neighbor up from the Tucson airport and wanted to stop for a nice lunch on our way back home. Food was perfect (burger, shrimp tacos, chicken sandwich and grilled salmon on rice with vegetables). Two of us took leftovers home. Service was excellent and prices reasonable. I went here last night with my husband. It's located right by the airport in what I believe is a new hotel (4 points). It smelled really good and had a nice floor plan, which included TVs, many booths, a bar in the center, and even a pool table. One thing I noticed is the amount of times our water needed to be filled. Typically I may get 1 refill during a dinner but last night, I believe I had 4. They need bigger glasses or less ice. Either way, our server was on it refilling the waters! We ordered a loaded fries appetizer which was the best thing we ate there. The melted cheese was somewhat under the fries and spread really well. The sauce had a Buffalo flavor and the bacon and other toppings were plentiful. My husband ordered street tacos, which were just okay. They were pretty bland, along with the salsa that seemed store bought/basic. I ordered the steak frites (the most expensive entree in the small menu at $30). The presentation was nice, but I was not impressed, as the charred flavor was overwhelming and the chimi churri sauce was not enough to balance it out. The meat itself did not have enough flavor for me either, but a part of this may be on me as I am not a steak lover. I recently thought that may have changed after trying a few steaks elsewhere that I loved, but now I'm thinking it may be that particular place that just does them really well. Either way, neither of us loved our actual entree. It's a cool restaurant I suppose if you are staying in the hotel but I think they can do better in flavor. read more

Spacious, airy place in the Four Seasons hotel near Tucson airport. Seemed to be down time as the heat outside was climbing. Pretty empty and quiet which was what we were looking for. The hostess was also the server, and she did a good job. The food was pretty much standard Southwestern fare. For our lunch, I had a quesadilla, my wife had a sandwich, and our friend had a SOL burger that was stacked high enough that you needed a dislocatable jaw to take a real bite. Food is good, standard bar fare with a southwestern twist. I ordered the quesadilla. Decent beer selection, I'd recommend the local brews, the Barrio Mexican lager was good.
