My team and I reserved two indoor pickleball courts. Everyone had a great time + the Corbett's team member helped us with food and drink orders. The food was just ok. There was nothing that I would go back for. The guacamole, hummus and artichoke spinach dip was are all bland. Could use more seasoning on all three. Such a fun spot in downtown Tucson! You can book indoor or outdoor pickleball in advance, which is great because your court is ready when you arrive. Recently went back for my dads birthday and we played pickleball and offered drinks plus appetizers. I'm gluten free and so is my brothers girlfriend, they let us know burgers, hummus with tortilla chips, and tacos can be made gluten friendly. We've been to Corbett's twice now, and they're a solid location for a casual meal, if you don't mind a noisy atmosphere. On my first visit, I got the Rocky Point tacos, which are shrimp tacos with coleslaw, avocado, crema, chipotle aioli, and cotija. There's a lot going on here -- you could lose a couple of the toppings with no detriment to the taco -- and it was messy as heck, but the flavors were good. On my second visit, we started with guacamole and chips, which was a very large serving and was delicious. It's a definite winner! We also got Carne Asada tacos and the Veggie Fried Rice. The tacos were good again, with lots of flavor on both the protein and in the toppings, but the fried rice was a disappointment due to being overwhelmingly salty. It had a lot of good elements going for it, but it tasted rather like the chef both used regular (read: already-very-salty) soy sauce and then added additional salt on top of that. I ended up taking it home and doctoring the leftovers with plain rice and unseasoned veggies to balance it out. Despite that dish being a miss, we'd go back! It's fun and friendly. I think I'd just stay with the Mexican offerings on the menu in the future. read more

Went in during family weekend. We had a reservation for 20 and were seated right away. Our server took our drink order right away to get things started. I ordered a canned beer and my wife a Moscow mule, we ordered first, but our drinks never came even after multiple asks to the server. Finally after everyone else's third round because yes the rest of our group received multiple drinks before we got our first we finally got ours. We ordered our food with appetizer first all the food came all at once all together. The food thankfully was really good otherwise based on service I might've given a lower rating. We reserved an outdoor pickleball court and then had dinner after! What a fun time! I love all the murals and use of outdoor space. It was helpful that they have their own parking lot so you don't have to worry about finding parking. You just need to get your pass validated before leaving. Pickleball: They have indoor and outdoor courts and you reserve ahead of time for an hour. Each player must fill out a waiver. Food/drinks: Tons of seating in both the beer garden and at the restaurant inside/out! Some of the furniture in the outdoor area could definitely use some updating. I love that you can also get drinks at the pickleball courts from servers or at the beer garden bar. There are high top chairs overlooking the courts to keep your beverages. I really enjoyed my mocktail the Strawberry Guava Spritz it was refreshing and tasted similar to a margarita. For dinner I had the Lutes '97 Burger which came with seasoned fries. It was good, but not why I would recommend making a visit to Corbs. A fan favorite of our party were the tots! Overall the food was good and we had a great server! I was really disappointed with our experience at Corbettes Tucson. They advertised a Love Island watch event and stated the show would be on at 6:00 PM, but when we asked why it wasn't on, our server scolded us instead of simply explaining the situation. She also didn't seem to know that the show's start time had changed from 8:00 PM to 6:00 PM, which showed a lack of communication among the staff. Throughout the night, we were repeatedly told everything would take 40 minutes because they were understaffed. We were told there was only one bartender, which is completely fine but no need to scold your table. If you're promoting a special event with themed cocktails and encouraging people to attend, you should be prepared for the crowd. The didn't sync any of the TVs. They were playing all at different times. Overall, the service felt disorganized, unprofessional, and unnecessarily rude. Unfortunately, what should have been a fun event turned into a frustrating experience. Considering last years turnout was much bigger than the crowd that showed up tonight. read more

My friend and I sent on a Sunday afternoon to watch a basketball game, have lunch, and a beer. We just needed a table for two near a TV, but that was not possible as all that was left were tables that held 6+ people. The hostess said I could try the bar and then disappeared not leaving behind any menus that she originally brought with her. Not sure why she would disappear like that and not give me the menu that was right there in her hands. The bar didn't have any extra drink or food menus either, but the bartender eventually got one for me after I sat there a few minutes twiddling my thumbs. There are ample TVs and the seating is covered and they have both inside and outside seating and many bathrooms with are either unisex or one men and one ladies. They also have outside sinks which is good because the inside sink in my toilet was completely out of soap. The had a great selection of beer in drafts or cans. I did fund the prices of beer a little on the high end especially at $9 and some of that was 16 oz cans. However, the bartender was great and served us well. We put in a food order of a chicken sandwich and a side and it was delicious, juicy, and just a little spice that wasn't too overwhelming. Pickles are on the side if that isn't your thing. There is a beautiful pickleball mural painted by the local famous muralist, Joe Pagac, on the back wall. They have pickleball courts you can rent for $35/hr and special pricing on Mondays. There is also a small stage so I assume they have live music. Overall, a good place in a great area just off 4th but just some small issues with seating. read more

Came here for a surprise birthday party for a friend. They had reserved an outdoor court which, unfortunately, was subjected to high winds. Nonetheless, we powered through competitive, yet fun games replete with excuses for bad plays haha We had 2 servers tending to our party. They were very attentive and accommodating. I've been three times and tried the guacamole and hummus plate, the cheese board, and the veggie tacos with smashed potatoes. Unfortunately, with limited vegetarian options, the food has been a bit underwhelming--nothing terrible, just kind of meh. Beer prices are on the high side, especially when I noticed they charge $7 for a Motosonora Belly Tank that's just $5 down the road at the brewery itself. Even the brown bag special ($3 for a Natural Ice) feels steep. That said, the atmosphere is fun and energetic, so maybe it shines more as a pickleball destination. Hopefully the food and drink menu evolves over time--I'd love to give it another shot if that happens. read more

I came with friends on a Sunday after our pickleball session for brunch and we were sat in the inside dining area and a soccer game was going on so there was a group of people but the entire front part of the restaurant wasn't full. We ordered waters and our food and the food took about 45 min to get out. Overall it was ok... the potatoes are tatertots which is fine but the prices really don't reflect what you get. The salsa for the dishes wasn't great either. The burrito was large and I didn't finish it compared to the smaller breakfast tacos my friends had. The black beans as a side didn't have much flavor to them and weirdly enough none of the tables have salt and pepper shakers which was inconvenient as it was hard to track our waiter down. The good news is they did a good job cooking the over easy eggs to perfection and the food arrived hot Overall ok especially if you play a game of pickleball and don't want to go too far. read more

Been wanting to try Corbett's for some time, so met some fam here for a quick lunch recently. Loved that you can make a rez. Love that you can eat out on the patio, WITH the misters... AND that the patio is dog friendly (although I did not have my pups). Service was super friendly from arrival to departure and everything in between. We were there on a Saturday early afternoon and brunch was on the menu so that is what we all did. I did the Banger Breakfast Taco's which were delicious with a really perfect kick to them. I came here with a group late Saturday night to play pickleball. You check in at the indoor courts and sign waivers and get the paddle and balls. It was too warm on the inside courts so we ended up playing outdoors instead. I recommend reserving the court ahead of time. I only tried the Prosecco and it was decent. We reserved the two indoor courts for an hour for $45 a court so $90 total. Afterwards we had a reservation on the restaurant patio. Their cocktails are great and the food is good, it's a little pricey but nothing too crazy. Our reservation was during the 4th Ave Street Fair and Corbetts went out of their way to contact us and let us know what streets were closed and alternative directions. They've repurposed a historic building for the indoor courts and it's so cool to see the space in use again rather than demolished. Incredible outdoor space with a variety of seating options from tables to adirondack chairs. Heaters dispersed outside. Dog friendly, I even saw a ferret on one visit. Large outdoor screen and stage, and some smaller TV's in a few more intimate outdoor seating spots with couches. I think the food is good American fare, burgers, tots, have been solid. The pricing seems high, but I think you're paying for the experience. For me the big draw is the concept and space. I've been twice now, about a month apart and I think the outdoor service still needs work. I'm not sure they've figured out how to best provide food service to the outside tables. You feel like you need to get lucky to get a waiter to stop in to take your order. You can order food from the bar, however we witnessed wandering waiters trying to deliver the bar ordered food seemingly unable to find the correct guests. There is a large indoor space as well that looks great, with plenty of TV's, I haven't sat inside yet, I'm guessing the service is likely better. Oh and being off of 4th Ave, parking can be tricky, but they have their own lot and your parking is validated with purchase! I went with a group of friends and all together we ordered iced coffee, brewed coffee, strawberry mimosa, fried rice, chicken and waffles, tater tots, the yogurt parfait, and a side of bacon. The coffee was actually pretty good. Your basic brewed and iced coffee but it wasn't burnt and it was the perfect temperature. My friend said his mimosa was too sweet so you might want to stick to a classic. My yogurt parfait was delicious and filling. The bacon was bacon. Pretty good. The tater tots were good. My friend said his friend rice could've been better. Maybe if his egg was scrambled. So make sure to walk towards 5th Ave to get to the entrance. I didn't know this during the visit but they do offer parking on fifth Avenue that you can get validated after you finish your meal so you dont have to pay for parking. Corbett's is one of the coolest venues in Tucson with a Restaurant, large Beer Garden & Pickleball Courts. It's great for socializing, attending special events like movie nights, and having drinks! I love to bring friends and visitors here. Their Tropical Mule and Paloma are great and I appreciate that they can make any drink a mocktail. However, the food leaves something to be desired. For $20 the Chef's Board had minimal cheese, no crackers only pita bread, and a random assortment of pickled veggies. They didn't add any hummus with the pita so it felt like it was just put on the board because they have it for other dishes. We had one small slice of Brie and two awkwardly sliced, thick pieces of Manchego. The meat was also inconsistently sliced and very fatty. It felt like a strange combination, after seeing our board our friends we decided not to order one. I hope they reimagine this item and add a better selection of cheeses, crackers, and meats. Overall, this will remain a place for drinks and some outdoor fun for me until the menu gets a few updates. I miss Love Burger, another concept from this restaurant group that closed so I hope they bring some of those menu items over to Corbett's. read more
