First time I went here drinks they were awful, tried again and they totally redeemed themselves! Margarita was perfect!

Walk in and take a journey, the blue pill or the red pill.... Red pill you sit behind the bar and watch sports... or the red pill you sit in a cozy spot dispersed in their garden setting. Either way you get served and listen to music. Food was good, a lot more options of drinks than food. We tried the nachos and fries. Both I really liked. The sauces with the fries I didn't care for as much but old faithful ranch and ketchup works too! The service was good too Would definitely return!

Came to see a friend's band play. Cool spot and concept, but it's not executed super well. The layout of the space could be better. I didn't know they had servers until I asked the bar tender after sitting around for a few minutes. The service was OK and the beer selection was pretty good. I was handed unopened cans of beer which I believe is incorrect.

Love this outdoor spot! It is so spacious and has a really nice view, I was looking at the mountains the entire time. The menu is small but I ordered 3 different things that did not disappoint. Large variety of beer and mixed drinks. The service was speedy. Overall I would love to come here again.

The Gardens at Bear Canyon is a really great concept but I wish their food and service matched the quality of the location and price point. The garden is beautiful and spaced out enough that you don't feel at all like you're sitting in a strip mall parking lot (which you are). They have a large pet friendly patio, with lots of plants, some space for yard games, and a rolling cart for board games. Unfortunately when we dropped by none of the yard games we'd seen pictured were available to use and the board games had certainly seen better days. Food was just okay, we ordered chicken tacos and the fries with the flight of sauces. The dipping sauces for the fries were fun but if you are looking for tacos, pick somewhere else. The chicken was dry and they lacked flavor, there are just too many good taco options in town to eat ones that aren't enjoyable. For two apps and a beer the total was over $30 which seemed expensive, our server was really kind but seemed to forget about us a few times. I'd maybe go back for live music and drinks because I liked the patio but I don't think I'd eat here again.

This is a great place for families with kids, especially when the weather is nice. All seating is outside, and the bathroom is a porta potty. The food is nothing to write home about, but overall, this place is a good hangout spot for friends and family. On Friday nights, there is a band that plays music to drown out the noise of screaming kids. Cheers!

We were looking for a dog friendly spot and this popped up in our search. All the seating is outside. During the day, I can see how hot it can get. There's plenty of seating. There's some sitting under shade and some seating without shade. They have a bar where is bar seating as well. The day we went they had live music. It was nice. Our waitress was nice. Our food and drinks came out, and good time. The food was a hit or miss. We started with the loaded fries. Instead of Carnitas, we got the jackfruit. The portion was huge. It was extremely dry though. I don't know if it was due to the substitution of the meat. I had to ask for ketchup, and just eat my fries like regular fries. my friend ordered the chicken tacos. They gave her pork instead, but she didn't want to have them redone. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and subbed it with jackfruit. I have no complaints about the pulled pork sandwich. It was good. It does come with cheese of your choice. For my side I decided on the coleslaw. It is vinegar based. Probably not my favorite coleslaw. I had a Cabernet. My friend has a Sauvignon Blanc, but it tasted old, sour. She ended up leaving it in ordering a beer instead. They have parking on site.

Come to check this newly open place. We can seat whenever available. The food are good but not many choices. Same owner w/ The Bear Canyon Pizza, so we can order food from there and the server will send us the food to our seat.

Great place for a casual beer!

Food very average, service was pretty good, loud country radio making it difficult to have a conversation. Then a live band made it worse.

The beets and everything that came with them was very fresh! I love anything with pickled onions. The steak appetizer was excellent and my dad could not stop talking about them. Next, I ordered the swordfish special and my dad got the pork chop. Everything was cooked to perfection and flavor was everywhere! For dessert we split the dark chocolate ganache. The ganache was very rich but paired wonderfully with the whipped cream and other flavors. I don't drink, but my dad also loved the cocktails he ordered! I had previously been to their Campbell location, so this time I wanted to try something completely different for breakfast. I went with the Monte Cristo with a side of their potatoes, and wow this dish absolutely delivered. First, the bread. It's thick, almost like Texas toast, which gives the whole sandwich a perfect structure. Inside, it's stuffed with delicious ham and melty cheese, then battered and cooked into that classic Monte Cristo style. The outside is crispy, the inside is soft and gooey, and every bite is full of flavor. It's the kind of breakfast that makes you pause for a second after the first bite because you know you made the right choice. And the potatoes... how do you make something as simple as potatoes taste that good? They're small, perfectly cooked, and somehow packed with flavor in every bite. My friend ordered the Duck Confit Skillet and she was definitely not disappointed. Just the presentation alone makes it look incredible, but the flavors are where it really shines. It's made with braised duck, shallots, spinach, cabernet-braised cherries, and cherry goat cheese mousse. And let me tell you they did not hold back on that cheese mousse. It was a generous scoop and it paired perfectly with the dish. It also comes with the same delicious potatoes I had, which again, did not disappoint. She ordered her eggs over medium, and honestly that's exactly how I'd get them too. For drinks, she had an iced matcha latte and I stuck with their house coffee. She said the matcha was amazing, and my coffee was exactly what you want with brunch, warm, smooth, and reliable. The staff were super friendly and helpful, which always makes the experience better. The restaurant itself is spotless and really aesthetically pleasing. It's bright, welcoming, and kind of feels like you've stepped into your grandma's cozy cottage kitchen - warm, charming, and just really cute. Safe to say... I'll definitely be back.

There was nothing wrong with the food and our drinks were delicious. We asked him about the drinks and we were left to feel like it was an inconvenience. His demeanor and attitude was just so rude. Any questions we had about the menu he seemed so angry. He hardly said anything to us all evening. I tried to make some light hearted comments and he told me he didn't appreciate it as he was so busy. All of the other servers seemed fine. Great job. In a few weeks I've been 3 times. I've tried the caviar cones that are a burst and mirage of flavors that left me wanting to order a dozen. Delicious. The guacamole experience at first glance I had written off, but friends decided to order and I'm so glad they did. Delicious!!! The Chicharron and Tostones were out of this world in flavor definitely worth it. The Fig drink is amazing. The sunset vodka drink with ginger OMG! The Mandavi red is amazing, the port is delicious for an after dinner cap off as is the espresso martini. I love all their glassware and tableware. They use the right glasses for the right things. Service is attentive, they're around, but they're not pushing you to be out the door -which I love. Definitely more of an Italy dining experience where they want you to sit back and relax and take your time. I love that. Especially because the place is so beautiful. You don't wanna leave and the chairs are so comfortable that you don't want to get up. Back to the food, got the special which was pork with a cherry glaze and goat cheese, drizzle. To die for perfectly accompanied with the artichoke. The ahi tuna dinner entree was cooked perfectly and a beautiful presentation. The steak was perfectly cooked. Wasn't a big fan of the Potatoes au gratin but it presented beautifully- I'm just more of a classic when it comes to that dish and they had a unique take on it. The crème brûlée was good. I feel like it's a staple that you can't really make any more exceptional than a good crème brûlée is. The surprise was the brownie, which I would not have ordered but friends wanted to so I tried it. it was amazing. I love the presentation of how they serve it and the taste was absolutely unique perfection! They made something taste exceptionally different, even though it seems like it would be your usual brownie à la mode. It's got a unique flavor that I have a hard time describing besides I recommend you try it because it's absolutely delicious. I've decided that I will have to try everything on the menu at least once. Because some of the things that I immediately wrote off with the things that I love the most. So now I'm curious to try all of their menu items. They do have a way of making dishes very unique and all their own based on how they serve it or the way they have prepare it. The lighting and ambience is like no other restaurant in Tucson. This place is an event. Breathtaking in every regard. Sat outside all 3 times. Twice at tables and once at the sofa overlooking the 18th hole. Arrived between 630-730 all 3 times and was totally comfortable. I love Tucson's weather and sunsets and wore my sunglasses for 30 minutes one of the evenings while watching the sun set. I was unbothered by the Tucson heat- but this is one of the things I love most about living here. The misters with fans above the tables do a nice job of keeping it cool without you getting damp. If you're concerned for the heat, that's a good outdoor spot to sit. I'll have to try sitting indoors at some point but honestly, I prefer outside and away from A/C. The first thing I need to own is that it's a shame I hadn't visited here before. We arrived at 5:30p and both the bar and patio areas were packed - standing room only, and no wonder. They have one of the better happy hours (daily! 3:00 - 6:30p) - able to accommodate both the slacker and the over-timer Lol. Basic drinks are all discounted such as house wines, well drinks, and beers. Their bottled wines and craft cocktails are all exempt though. Many of their appetizers are also discounted and some quite substantially. We grabbed a glass of the house cabernet ($6, normally $8) and the grilled shrimp wrapped in jalapeno bacon ($13, normally $20). NOTE: happy hour pricing is Only available if you order/consume at the bar or on the patio and that's clear in advance, and understandable. The dining areas were only half full at this early point (but filled up by 6:30) and the host kindly encouraged us to enjoy our starters at the bar as she would hold our table. We were then sat near the "back" of this long venue and frankly, aside from the lone windowed table at the very front, this would be my preferred seating - cozy, intimate, with only five other tables around us. For dinner drinks she got an Italian Nebbiolo Bricco Magno Red Blend ($13/glass, reliably terrific/mellow) and I got the Chupacabra ($15) Mezcal/prickly pear cocktail, strong and excellent as well. We got an additional appetizer: the roasted bone marrow ($19). I had never had marrow before but she raved about how good this can be if done properly (bonus, it is super healthy). Folks, a picture/worth a 1000... suffice to say this was simply outstanding! We both had long work weeks and were craving meat - just a damn good steak. Our waiter, without blinking recommended the 8oz bison filet mignon ($65) as his absolute menu fav, and then the day's special: 14oz ribeye ($50). We ordered each. All dinners come with two sides and we each got the day's special: roasted half artichoke and she got the loaded baked potato while I got the mashed potatoes. Food arrived about 15 minutes later at good temperature (warm/rested with a strong char) with each being accurately grilled (medium and medium-rare). Taste was outstanding. Neither one of us had bison filet before and marveled how it (subtly) added a "wild" edge to an always outstanding, lean-but-tender, cut of beef. The loaded baked was terrific, however, the mashed was the only disappointment... a plainer mash one could not make themselves - pure white and borderline dry, no milk, butter, egg, gravy(?), nothing to make it creamy or add any flavor dimension - a surprise frankly. The only other "critique" is that the dessert menu could add some kind of dark/chocolate concoction. All in all, though, we loved our experience and have decided to add this to our periodic special dinners rotation! Staff was outstanding - just the proper balance of attentive and quiet - and waters never went below half empty. Parking is free and plentiful, especially behind the restaurant (and yes, if you continue on around the back there is another long entrance/exit driveway that comes out the other side of Jimmy John's and Noodleholics.

It seemed over cooked and then drenched in sauce with greens on top, also drenched in sauce. The saddest part was they sat us in the back room. Where they seemed to sit everyone coming into the restaurant. If the restaurant was packed I would understand but every other room was empty. Who wants to sit along the pathway to the bathroom? Service was so/so. Had to ask for drinks multiple times. But frankly the quality of the food was not worth the cost. Definitely will not be returning, until they revamp the menu to include less French style and more uniquely inspired fresh food. I mean if we wanted French we would have gone to Le Rendezvous or Wild Garlic which are top notch.

What I mean here is, the service was satisfactory, but I'm not inclined to stay or hang out - the vibe was more of a silent encouragement to move along. Be aware for travelers, according to Arizona state law, you cannot bring any outside purchased alcoholic beverage in the gazebo, patio, or in the pool area. The staff stated you cannot bring any beverage they sold you on this property into the pool area either, which conflicted with signage. Overall, I'd describe the few times I visited during my stay as, "so-so" or "fine, but would rather find somewhere else."

At first glance The Glowbal restaurant at the Sheraton Tucson, a Marriott asset, appears to be very…read moremuch like any other generic duplication of usual, ubiquitous and very basic standardized and extremely ultra-modern hotel restaurants. With its common tables and chairs, drab décor, universal motifs, morning breakfast commonalities, the open huge windows to view parts of the property, and the comings and goings of the welcoming staff hustling back and forth devotedly and courteously helping customers out. But there is a big but! A but that thoroughly surprised me. First, a close look at the restaurant's menu is a little surprising. They offer an array of international-style dishes that is most uncommon to hotel eateries and although not a huge menu by any means the offerings we tried during our stay were well prepared, professionally displayed, very, very well-done facsimiles of more authentic possibilities elsewhere - and most importantly, tasty. From their American Classic Shrimp Cocktail to Middle Eastern style Falafel Appetizer, to their Seafood Tacos or the Bronx Pastrami and the Border Burger to the Calypso Salmon shows the kitchen's skill and impetus of putting out an amazingly different yet appetizing gastronomic ensemble. Kudos to the management, staff and cooks behind the scenes for offering such an array of goodies, heretofore almost unseen or experienced at most hotels.
