    Corned beef & cabbage
    Valerie S.

Came in on the day before St. Patty's Day for some advertised corned beef & cabbage. It has dive bar vibes with friendly service. They don't have waitress service, so it's a bit confusing for newcomers. We didn't know where to order or if we had to wait for seating. Food selection is limited to bar food, except if you're lucky enough to come when they are serving up the corned beef! It was good and satisfied my craving. I had a Tito's vodka tonic with lime and it was made perfectly! They have pool tables and dart boards for your playing pleasure. People there were super chill and everyone appeared to be having fun in a friendly atmosphere. I gave an above average rating because their service was very friendly and the chill vibe!

Plane cocktail I also had a smoking Manhattan but forgot to take a picture. Both were excellent.

Found this gem on a layover. Adam is the owner and was our bartender. He makes craft cocktails and is the perfect balance of personable , attentive and professional. This spacious bar has several pool tables , dart boards and lots of televisions for sports. We had an amazing pizza and great beer selections. The menu is small but the food available is excellent.

N we ordered our food n we were very well taken care of. Place is old industrial building right across the railroad tracks. Lots of people coming n going . Pretty interesting building there right on the train tracks. It's got a cool dive bar feel inside with a large beer and food menu, good variety there. I went with a flight to try a few - Mexican lager, Hefeweizen, razzberry, and a mocha Java stout (maybe messed up the names a bit, but you get the idea). The hefe was my favorite, and my husbands, too. The razzberry one was a close second, but I could have done without the other two, not my cup of tea but wanted to give them a try! I don't see Sonoran hot dogs on menus often and being new to Tucson, I've been super curious about them so that was my meal choice. DIVINE. It's hard to mess up a hot dog. But this was a really good hot dog. Would order again and again. The price was right as well - $7! We thought the entire menu was very reasonably priced, compared to others in the area offering similar varieties. My husband had a cheesesteak that he said was really good, he would also order it again. Overall, we had a solid experience. Good beer and good food. I do want to add that this isn't my first time attempting to visit Barrio - we tried once before but were blocked by the train. We tried to wait it out but didn't know how long it would be and gave up after about 15 minutes. Just kind of a bummer of a location for a place with good food and beer. I did see on their menu that they offer $1 off beer if you get stuck because of the train, that is a nice touch. But, there's no perks like that if you are on the other side. It looses a star for that.

The facility delivered the game, with multiple televisions (extra large, large and medium sized) placed around its ample and roomy three dining venues,(outdoor patio bar, indoor bar, and dining room. The atmosphere felt very trendy, upbeat, and fun. What set this facility apart from other "sports bars" to me, was that it appeared to be staffed and managed more like a nicer, "dressy" restaurant. The serving staff were very attentive, polished, polite, and efficient. The tables were bussed and cleaned with pit crew efficiency. But honestly, what really set Trident apart, was the very high quality, attention to detail culinary skills of the kitchen staff. The chicken tender appetizer had juicy, piping hot chicken breast, inside crispy perfectly spiced batter crust. With no heavy grease saturation that is common for bar food. Similarly Mexican Sea Bass, was perfectly prepared with a slight pop of surface resistance before the fish flaked into juicy perfectly seasoned morsels. The dish was balanced flavor and texture wise. Truly, I want to go back to have it again. My son ate fish and chips, and said that it was very delicious. I'll have to take his word for it, because it was devoured before I could even sneak a peek, let alone a taste. Desert was a house-made 4" or 5" wide, 3/4" deep chocolate chip cookie, served piping hot fresh out of the oven, with a creamy vanilla bean ice cream and generous chocolate syrup garnishment. The pride and attention to detail I observed is the true core of high quality experience. I commend Trident for that as much or more than anything, and hope they cherish and maintain that ethos. I clearly give a profound and hearty recommendation to anyone looking for a high quality meal, in a casual and fun environment.
