I came here for a retirement party and was really impressed. They had a nice little area reserved for us in the back, which made it feel private and perfect for the occasion. Even though they sell pizza, they were kind enough to let us bring in our own food -- that flexibility was definitely appreciated. The atmosphere is great with cork dart boards lit up with LED lights, pool tables, and large flat-screen TVs. The bartenders were cute, the staff was friendly, and everything was clean and well kept. My husband and his coworkers were doing a "pool and darts" night so I tagged along to try out Murphy's for the first time. We were there early on a weeknight so wasn't busy. I walked up to the bar to order a drink and was not greeted or helped even though there were two people working the bar. My husband's boss walked up to the bar and he was helped right away. He ended up having to order my drink for me, since I was still standing there almost 10 mins later. That basically turned me off from ordering anything else so I just nursed my one cosmo the whole night. The drink itself wasn't good either. It had way too much cranberry juice, but the price was reasonable. You don't have to pay for darts or the pool table and does give you a good "dive bar" feel. read more

Came in on the day before St. Patty's Day for some advertised corned beef & cabbage. It has dive bar vibes with friendly service. They don't have waitress service, so it's a bit confusing for newcomers. We didn't know where to order or if we had to wait for seating. Food selection is limited to bar food, except if you're lucky enough to come when they are serving up the corned beef! It was good and satisfied my craving. I had a Tito's vodka tonic with lime and it was made perfectly! They have pool tables and dart boards for your playing pleasure. People there were super chill and everyone appeared to be having fun in a friendly atmosphere. I gave an above average rating because their service was very friendly and the chill vibe! read more

We stumbled across this place and were so happy we did. The staff is so great and friendly! They clearly have regulars and the staff make sure to get to know your name. Don't go here. Doesn't deserve even one star. Visited here after a U of A game and the bartender refused to make a simple drink he called a "club drink". Overall an awful experience. Don't cut off your customers. Give them options or be willing to learn. Won't be back, awful service. read more

We came in for food prior to meeting up with some friends. We were the only two people in the place to start. The bartender was super friendly. We got a Margherita pizza, which was amazing, and a couple of beers. They have tons of dartboards and other amusements, so we will definitely spend more time here on a future visit to Tucson. read more

Found this gem on a layover. Adam is the owner and was our bartender. He makes craft cocktails and is the perfect balance of personable , attentive and professional. This spacious bar has several pool tables , dart boards and lots of televisions for sports. We had an amazing pizza and great beer selections. Drinks were great THEN came here a few weeks later, the bartender was an older man, who obviously didn't care to be working and made the same drinks I had ordered last time, like crap. Came here with like 10 friends and bombarded this amazingly lovely bartender, with a bunch of complicated food and drink orders. She was so fun and professional had some phenomenal body artwork. Then I asked what she did besides work there and this "Jill of all trades" amazed every one of us, we will keep coming back as long as she's there which I think she said Sunday Monday Tuesday before 7pm. No fancy food menu with high prices. They bring in a different food truck in each day for your eating enjoyment. Friendly barkeeps ( Hi John) many TV's and pool tables to keep you entertained. Check out the nights they have music. We are moving a few blocks away from the pub and will be a frequent visitor based on the food trucks. Over 25 choices of Irish whiskey to choose from on whiskey Wednesday. A different drink special ever night and a very long happy hour ( 11-6). Nice selection of Irish beers on tap and the regular American beers filling up the other taps. Since we were coming in for Irish beer, I didn't notice if the had any local craft beers on tap. We went around 4:00 pm since we missed lunch and they were not very crowded but as we were leaving at around 5:30, the locals were starting to come in for a drink. Service is horrible walked in early around 6 pm to have food and drinks. After walking in the bartender loudly stated, " she is the only one I she can't serve is food, it would take over an hour to feed us". We decided to just have drinks and the bartender told us we had to wait because she was making food for another customer. After about 10 minutes we walked out to go to beer house. The least she could have done was nicely say we had to wait, but she was very rude about it. read more

I absolutely love this pub. The owners are a married couple and couldn't be more welcoming to every single person that comes through the door. The atmosphere is quaint and there are always a ton of sports options on their numerous TVs in the bar side, as well as the other gaming side which includes a lot of seating, 4 pool tables, 2 dart boards, corn hole/bags, and a recent addition...shuffle board. I had my 21st birthday here. The staff is super nice. Adam, the owner, is the nicest guy you could ever hope to see run a bar. He was super inviting and polite, which was a big plus from me since it was my first time there. Don't let the outside fool you. The inside has a full bar with tables and another side with four pool tables, darts, and more tables. Definitely recommend this place if you are planning a party.
