Steakout sandwich with fries
Jessica B.

This place has a great atmosphere and vibe and the service is great. However the food or at least the chefs who make the food leave a lot to be desired. I ordered the paddy wagon burger with an upgrade to onion rings and my friend ordered the Steakout sandwich. I asked for my burger to be cooked well done. When our orders came out the onion rings were almost burned and I bit into my burger to find it was almost raw in the middle and still bloody (ew). I asked for them to redo the order which took almost 20 minutes extra which wasn't very good at all. But the redo was much better. But I probably won't order a burger from there again since the chefs obviously don't seem to know how to cook a well done burger at all. Nor do they seem to know how to fry onion rings without burning them! The fries my friend had were really good, and the ranch dipping sauce was very unique. Overall I don't know if I will eat there again unless someone else chose the venue.

Beyond burger with mushrooms and Swiss cheese and a side of oh so delicious french fries

Service: 10 stars as Rylie was super efficient, friendly and sweet, offering tastes of multiple beer options with a smile. She was VERY attentive and made us feel like family. Food: 10 stars. We opted for the beyond burger with mushrooms and Swiss cheese and it was exquisite with perfectly seasoned french fries. Presentation: 10 stars. Excellent burger presentation on a cutting board. Very appetizing! Atmosphere: 10 stars. 13 big screen TVs inside plus a very cool prohibition era montage and excellent outside patio seating with heat lamps. Drinks: 10 stars with a great selection of beer, wine, and a full bar. I had the 8.8% imperial coconut Porter...so delicious to meet you! Will undoubtedly return very soon.

This place deserves at least four stars. The staff is excellent in the patio is wonderful. Our food was very tasty and our waitress was super friendly. This restaurant was very dog friendly, and everybody was super welcoming to him. Definitely will consider coming back in the near future.

If you're looking for a good burger and a fun place to catch a basketball game, this is the spot for you. The noble experiment burger was the perfect combo of smoked Gouda cheese, spicy bbq sauce, crispy onion strings and chipotle mayo-the flavors were on point. The real standout was their beer battered onion rings, they had the most incredible seasonings baked into them. Service was timely and when we stopped by on a Saturday afternoon, there was plenty of seating available.

Stopped in to Growlers for our first time this weekend. We wanted a nice patio view with comfortable vibes and good eats. Did not disappoint! The screens were down blocking some of the view but also helped with the sun at that angle so all good! The patio was great and had plenty of seating and was very comfortable. The menu is simple but the food was delicious! The website says you'll come for the beer and come back for the food- as someone who doesn't drink beer- can confirm! The slaw on the pulled pork was AMAZING! And the fact that they were two oversized sliders vs one giant messy sandwich- LOVED IT! The sauce on the pork was sweet and tangy and a great balance with the slaw. Fries were so crispy too! My husband had the chicken spinach wrap for something a little lighter and it was also really tasty and filling. Service was good- our waitress was helpful in seeing what vodka they had on hand for me (the non beer drinker). And my husband got to try one of the moon brews from Crooked Tooth he had wanted to try. Will definitely be back for another visit and more of that pulled pork! Next time I'm trying the green apples for dessert too!

Full rack of ribs. This is the bbq version, I have since learned that my favorite is the dry rubbed with a side of their housemade bbq.

We love this neighborhood bar. The prices are absolutely fantastic for pretty much everything on the menu. For our taste, the Ribs, nachos and tacos are the bomb. As far as the ribs go, our favorite combo is the dry rubbed with a side of their spicy bbq sauce(my mouth is watering while I type this, literally). The pic below was prior to finding this out. BOTH versions are incredible though. This is a family owned place, come to find out. We love supporting mom and pop places over corporate any day. I have seen some negative reviews about their service, it is a little hit and miss(more hit though), but that is with pretty much any service based industry as of late.

The food is great, but it could be a better business. The service was OK. I'm not a regular and it was made clear I am not a regular. I wanted to support a locally owned business I had never been to. They had a good variety of beers on tap, many made in Arizona, but nothing exotic. This is not a beer bar or a spot beer geeks will travel for. The ambiance was strip mall bar. The place was clean. So go if you're passing through and want excellent food with a decent draft beer or you live in Marana. Also they are a sports bar that doesn't offer WiFi. They ate up all the bandwidth with more TVs.

Receipt from 3 burgers and a kids meal.

It's been a while since we have visited here and now I remember why. Went for lunch because we wanted to sit outdoors. The outdoor ambiance was nice. It was quiet mid day on Saturday. Not too many people. Service was pretty good. The cost of the food is outrageous. The noble experiment burger was pretty good but the bun is oversized compared to the size of the meat. The build your own burger (not on the menu) starting at $14 found us nickel and dimed for toppings. Kids meal is $15 which includes fries and a drink but that's excessive for a kids meal. The beer list is ok but I've never found anything I've loved there. It will probably be a while before we come back again.

First visit and we will be back. Such a chill spot and everyone was soo friendly. The atmosphere is really nice and the cherry on top is there huge covered patio. Food was great and the service was on point. The Hatch Lady was so good we ordered another one to go. The spice was real nice. Cant wait to go back.

Sonoran White Chocolate Ale!

My fiancee brought me on a date here and I was so excited to see that they had Sonoran White Chocolate cream ale on tap! It's one of my favorite beers! I will definitely be coming back for more beer. The jalapeño poppers were delicious. I think it came with a cucumber salad thing but not sure what to call it since it wasn't in the menu description. My wrap was very good and filling! My fiancee had a burger which he really enjoyed. They have a ton of seating inside (high top tables). Staff was very kind. Can't wait dine in again!

Chicken and bacon wrap with fries
Kristen S.

We came in late night right before the kitchen closed for some dinner. I ordered the chicken wrap with bacon and lettuce with a chipotle sauce. It was really good. The fries were crispy and hot. The red blend wine that someone in my party ordered was definitely not my favorite but drinkable. The restaurant was like a typical sports bar but had a military/patriotic theme. They even have a table reserved for fallen soldiers. Very commendable!

It's mostly a sports bar with some seating on the side. The draw here is definitely to watch sports and to drink. Service was good though. The bartender happened to be doubling as our waitress but she still managed to keep up with everything. I ordered the patty melt with onion rings and a strawberry lemonade. The lemonade was not on the menu but the bartender was able to make one. It was delicious. The same can't really be said for the patty melt. It was really dry and had too much bread with a small little patty in the middle. I tore away most of the bread to just eat the patty. The onion rings, though, we very good. All in all of you're a fan of sports and want to hang and have a drink or some bar food this is your place. It is not really suitable for much else as it can get very noisy on game days.

I was greeted by the bartender who was SUPER friendly and made me feel very welcome. There were others at the bar that asked if I needed a seat at the bar. Very cool vibe. Sports bar vibe....with a family friendly place as well. The second bartender that relived the first one was..nice and friendly, but I did not get that "happy your here "feeling. I ordered the HH cod tacos with slaw, avocado lime sauce, and salsa. They were so good!! The blend of the fresh fish with the slaw....YUMMY. The fish was perfectly cooked. Crisp and not greasy, and so flavorful. I wondered why they delivered a bunch of napkins and ....a few bites in I realized. All over the face, and dripping down the chin....good!! :-) I got a burger to go, with added green chilies. I asked for rare, and I got medium to medium well. Sad panda, but it is still a good burger. I just really love to taste the burger at a rare temp. I also asked for a cup of the gumbo. My first bite was SO salty. I don't know if it was in storage or not fresh, but it was a salt lick. Could not taste the flavor past the saltiness. Good locals place, and prices are reasonable. I appreciate a Veteran owns the establishment and since I am a Veteran as well....I will always support Veteran owned!!

We had to try the deep fried pickles (excellent, they are spears not chips), but I had to leave most of my fries behind. Also be aware that the sound level can be pretty high making it hard to carry on a conversation without shouting. Service was snappy and efficient - our drinks were kept full. Atmosphere is bar-like with a see-through kitchen. My wife had the fish & chips - excellent. I had the Captain's platter which is a little bit of everything. The shrimp were to die for. The one downside is everything came fried in the same batter & oil, so everything starts to kinda taste the same. We'll be back the next time we get a craving for deep-fried seafood!

I've had Barrio Blonde on many occasions at other places, but this one tasted unusually bitter and a bit flat. It seemed like the beer may have gotten warm at some point and was later cooled again, affecting the flavor. We were hungry, so we ordered the patty melt. My wife got the Texas fries, which is basically homemade from the real potato and I got the crinkle cut fries. The food itself is very good. We waited a few minutes before someone came over to greet us. It was an older, blonde female. She never told us her name but she had asked us if we wanted something to drink. I inquired about seltzers & they only had High noon Watermelon & White claw Mango. I was disappointed in their slim options so I asked for a Tito's soda with lemon. She brought our drinks over right away & of course there was a lime in my drink & she apologized & said it was her fault and quickly came back with lemons. I order the fried mushroom & fried zucchini appetizer and it came out prior to my meal. I actually perfer zucchini spears, they serve slices. These veggies were OK. They came with a side of ranch. The portion wasn't worth the cost of them. Another waitress, Kelsey (I asked her her name as she was so friendly/nice) was running around who brought out our appetizer but I had to ask for another silverware setting as there was only 2 on the table to begin with & there were 3 of us. I also had to ask for plates so I could share with my friends. I decided to go with the brisket with cheese sandwich & substituted my fries for onion rings. I had asked our waitress if the onion rings were homemade & she said "no, but they're really good." I also added a side of Western beans. The brisket was dry but it came with a side of yummy, sweet BBQ sauce....thank God! I didn't want the bun & just ate the brisket. The onion rings were OK & I didn't like the beans. They weren't sweet @ all & had a spicy kick to them. She was nice & took them off my bill when I told her I didn't like them. Our waitress did come back shortly after we dug into our food to ask us how things were & if we needed anything. She was a good waitress but man she seemed so miserable. She wasn't happy or chipper and it seemed like she didn't want to be there by her demeanor. There were games on the big screen TV's near by. This seems to be a "sports bar." AZ was playing. I did find that it was hard to hear my friend's while trying to converse with them. We asked for our check & she asked if we wanted any to-go containers which my friend's did as they had left overs. Things were brought over shortly but once she dropped the check off she took off, my friend even had her CC out & ready to cash out. I'm giving 3 stars due to the food & the prices of the food. It's definitely frozen bar food & it wasn't that great. Over priced IMO. 4 stars for our waitress & Kelsey. Just wished our waitress was happier & friendlier.
