My boyfriend recommended this place after he had been here once before with his sister. He didn't remember much about it so we decided to try it. It's mostly a sports bar with some seating on the side. The draw here is definitely to watch sports and to drink. Service was good though. The bartender happened to be doubling as our waitress but she still managed to keep up with everything. I ordered the patty melt with onion rings and a strawberry lemonade. The lemonade was not on the menu but the bartender was able to make one. It was delicious. The same can't really be said for the patty melt. It was really dry and had too much bread with a small little patty in the middle. I tore away most of the bread to just eat the patty. The onion rings, though, we very good. All in all of you're a fan of sports and want to hang and have a drink or some bar food this is your place. It is not really suitable for much else as it can get very noisy on game days. read more

It's a great neighborhood bar with good food and plenty of beers to choose from on tap and bottles. The Reuben sandwich is always good and the burgers are exactly what you'd expect at a place like this. Good but not gourmet obviously. Reasonably priced food and beer. I'm not too sure about mixed drinks or alcohol pricing but I do know they have plenty to choose from. I've been to parties here. I've hosted parties here. I've also just stopped in for a cold one or for a quick lunch. I think it's hard to beat The Station for what it is. Good food and drink! Service was adequate, could have been because there were a few big parties and only a couple wait staff this evening. Meals were priced well. We ordered a the bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers, steak dinner and the pulled pork sandwich! The food was cooked the way requested and on point! First time at this eatery. Went with a group after a round of golf. Open atmosphere with lots of Indoor seating and outdoor seating. Very pro first responders, with lots of patches on the wall from fire, law enforcement and military, which I think is awesome. Large screen televisions on the walls with various sports This is an obvious local hangout. I had the pulled pork with Cole slaw. To drink, I had water with a lemon slice. I don't believe they had any reverse osmosis system, water had that public water after taste. Pulled pork was average as well as the coke slaw. My wife and I decided to visit The Station Pub & Grill this evening, since we were in the area and wanted to try someplace new. Big mistake. I'll start with drinks. We sat at the bar, and my wife & I each ordered a beer. What we were brought were beers with at least a 1" head on them and beer dripping down the sides of the glasses, making them sticky. We watched them pour other drinks & this seemed to be the norm. We also ordered two shots: A double Jim Beam straight up & a double Bulleit straight up. The server came back several minutes later and was about to pour us 2 shots of Bulleit Rye, which is not what either of us ordered, so I pointed it out to the server. She went to check, and they were out of regular Bulleit. How does any bar/restaurant run out of one of their main whiskey's? I switched the order to two double Jim Beams, straight up. When she finally brought the shots - once again, several minutes later, they looked pretty small (remember, we'd ordered doubles). I asked the server if she'd poured us doubles and she said she hadn't heard me say doubles, so she topped them up - a bit. Next we ordered food. My wife ordered the garlic parmesan wings. I ordered the Habanero Ranch wings - both with bleu cheese. After waiting over 25 minutes, the server finally brought out a single order of wings - lemon pepper with ranch. I first asked where the 2nd order was, then told her lemon pepper & ranch dressing isn't what either of us ordered. The sever disappeared into the kitchen without apologizing & returned, yet again, several minutes later with our correct wing orders, but by this point my wife had lost her appetite due to the abysmal service. My wife got all of her wings packed to go, and I had just a couple of mine and packed the rest to go. We asked for our bill. The bill arrived - $49 for 2 beers, and 2 orders of wings - they'd forgotten to put the shots on the bill. At first, I thought they were giving us a break because of the poor service, so I handed over my credit card and waited - and waited. When the server finally took my card, she proceeded to add the amount for the shots to the bill and run my card. So, when she brought the bill back to us, it was $75! That's a LOT for a grand total of 16 wings, 1 10 ounce beer, 1 16 ounce beer & 2 double shots of bourbon - with some of the worst service we've ever had. We will NOT be back. Ever. read more

I ate here today and was pleasantly surprised. Well it was only about 1130, so not busy at all. Our server was on top of everything. Made sure our drinks were full the whole time and never went too long without checking in on us. I got the 8 piece chicken wings. The wings were decent sized and were cooked perfectly. Games on the TVs, which were confidently placed in every direction I looked. I can definitely see myself stopping in here any time I'm in the area. I love this place, Jordie the bartender is amazing. She greets you when you come through the door. She has your drink ready sometimes before you get to the bar. The taco on Tuesday is so good. My family came here after a day of shopping and we felt like a good bar burger . Nothing fancy just a darn burger. We stopped at our neighborhood bar down the street from our house The Station. On Thursday it's Happy hour all day so that was a huge bonus. I got the green chili burger and my husband got the bbq burger . We also had a little one with us and she loved her sliders . Everything tasted good , and the beer was fresh and cold . We will be back again . Plus , I love the pro military/ first responder vibe in the place . Truly enjoyed our experience here at the bar. Certainly a hometown neighborhood feel. Even though we came for just one drink and an appetizer, it felt like we were amongst friends. The crew that works here is incredibly friendly and easy going. The patronage and this place is mostly friends and family. The best part of the whole evening was the live music. Whoever they found, he sounded like they pulled him out of the Nashville list of stars. I basically shared a jalapeño bacon wrapped appetizer and had a margarita. My partner just had a vodka with soda water. But just the vibe... the vibes was the good stuff. And a nice patio area upfront. If you want a great place to sit and have a chat with a good friend over a craft beer or a coke, I'd say this place will definitely be suitable. read more

We did an assortment of appetizers on our recent mid afternoon visit and everything was very flavorful. I particularly liked the chicken lettuce wraps and the pub pretzel. On our previous visit we had lunch and the pulled pork was the best! Their coleslaw is flavorful and crunchy not drenched in mayo like some. Both the French fries and the onion rings were crunchy. Husband and I headed back to The Station and this time, we went inside. The place looks like an "old" bar but isn't. It has a very comfortable feel. We got there at Noon on Taco Tuesday. It was pretty chilly inside but as the place started filling up, the temperature was perfect. Germaine waited on us, took our drink orders and was back quickly with them. Husband ordered wings; I wanted to try those chicken street tacos again. I also ordered a side salad which came first; it was cold, crisp and the blue cheese dressing was true blue cheese - delicious. Germaine was back with our food a few minutes after I finished the salad. Husband said the wings were hot (temperature) and good. The wings came with some rough looking carrot strips (he didn't eat them) and a bit of celery. My tacos were delicious. I don't know what the marinade is that's on them, but it's perfect for them. Germaine was back to check on us a few times. I watched her work the room. I think she was the only server. She visited every table a few times and kept drinks filled, napkins replaced and a smile on the whole time. This place is a bit far from our home, but it's worth the trip. This was definitely a Sunday staff restaurant. We came around 4pm (3 of us), told to sit wherever. Greeted promptly by Ashley but then waitresses were changed after the drink order. From there ALL downhill, had to repeatedly ask for drink refills, gave me the wrong menu item so I had to wait 15 minutes while everyone else ate dinner. They brought out poorly prepared chicken tenders and undercooked fries. Didn't attend to our table whatsoever! When the check came, still charged for the wrong item! Went on a Saturday night. Walked in, nobody was up front, and there wasn't a sign or anything saying "seat yourself" or "please wait to be seated." After 5 uncomfortable minutes, I approached a server who said "sit wherever you want." I was given a menu after being seated for five more minutes. Ordered Leinenkugel off the beer menu, only to be told that they don't carry it... not that they were out, but they don't carry it.... the beer.... on the menu.... isn't carried.... I keep repeating this to myself and I just can't get over it. Got a burger and some onion rings. The burger was meh. The bun actually was the exact type Burger King has. The onion rings had an extreme amount of breading. With a high-quality brewery like Growlers a couple doors down, I can't picture coming back. This is a GREAT neighborhood pub and grill. Located in highly popular Continental Ranch/Reserve area is a local favorite for beer and pub fare. Also located in a string of other pubs - is part of the Continental Ranch Pub Crawl - where you can walk from pub to pub trying different brews. So far my favorite thing to eat is the Bacon Avocado Lettuce Tomato (BALT) sandwich. Delicious sandwich on Texas toast like bread. I really need to try other things, but love this one! First impressions are important and this place left a good one with me. The place is super clean and looks almost brand new despite it being the 3rd restaurant to take over rent in that space in the last 5 years. The beer I ordered was really good and you can choose to have it poured into a pint or a 22 oz glass. Our waiter was nice enough and even though the place was pretty dead when we went (mid-day), he wasn't overly obnoxious. Also, they had a very large selection of drinks made with Hammer and Sickle vodka. It's a really good russian vodka and their mixing options are huge! I gave 3 stars purely for my lack of knowledge on this place. I didn't order any food but I will be sure to update my review if I am ever back in Tucson and choose to dine here. read more
