Texas roadkill with loaded baked potato
    Brandi D.

Went to Texas Roadhouse in Marana for my birthday and it did not disappoint! The place was packed--we barely found a parking spot--but luckily they were able to seat us within a minute or two. There were only two of us, so that probably helped, but still impressive considering how busy it was. The staff was friendly and full of energy, and the bathrooms were super clean (always a plus!). I ordered the Texas Roadkill with a loaded baked potato and a house salad. The salad was a great size and tasted so fresh, and the ranch dressing was amazing--definitely had that homemade flavor. The chopped steak was delicious, and I loved the sautéed onions and mushrooms piled on top. My baked potato was perfect too, maybe just a touch too much salt on the skin, but still fabulous overall. Portions are huge--I could only eat half, which meant I had a beautiful leftover dinner for the next day! I also noticed they have early bird specials, so I definitely want to come back earlier next time and check those out. And of course, I can't forget about those rolls and cinnamon butter... melt-in-your-mouth perfection. All in all, a great birthday dinner and one of the better experiences I've had at a Texas Roadhouse. Highly recommend this location!

Very good service and food at this pit stop with the crew. Owen was a great help and I wish I would've got the young lady's name that took the phone order. Very helpful. Definitely would be stopping back at this location. Great food great service they go hand-in-hand. The pick up was nice and easy. Owen even let me use the restroom before doing the transaction pulled right in and parked in the rear of the restaurant to the side by the to go area. I love the set up. Thanks again

So Packed Father's Day w son & family but seated pretty quickly ! I'm sure everywhere is packed on dads day nobody wants to cook? The place was a " well oiled machine " filled with young people running the show , lucky to have them working hard . I haven't been to the " roadhouse in years best memory the rolls the bread w cinnamon butter. Tiffany our server was great thank you . Table had small sirloin , prime rib , ribeye , & chicken fried steak . The Cesar salad was a hit along with baked potatoes sweet potatoes , corn , chili , sides . Prices like everywhere much higher than the years ago I visited wilmot branch . With the place so crowded & big large groups waiting mid afternoon again I commend the staff & management they had the " chaos under control , moving & served no complaints .I gave an extra star for extraordinary service under trying conditions .

Mango margarita with Patron tequila shot

I've been coming to this Texas roadhouse in Marana since they first opened about 24 years ago or so. Back then all the servers and staff in general used to lineup and do a song and dance about every 30 minutes or so for no particular reason and sing happy birthday to one or two of their guests. You would be able to get peanuts from this huge barrel in a tin can and throw the shells on the floor. Those days are now gone forever. No more songs, no more dance. Now you get peanuts in a bag and a tin can to dispose of your shells in (COVID-19 changed that) - Ah, the good old days how I miss them. We came here today for an early dinner and were seated at a booth with our warm rolls and cinnamon butter. Today I ordered an alcoholic drink which I hardly ever do. I ordered a mango margarita with Patron tequila for $3 more. For our entrees I ordered the country fried chicken with double mashed potatoes (brown gravy on potatoes and white gravy on steak) and hubby ordered the smothered chicken with loaded baked potato and green beans. No appetizer because they serve generous portions and I didn't want to ruin my appetite for my meal. The rolls are so delicious, you can taste the butter and salt on the roll with the tasty cinnamon butter on the inside (always a hit). My margarita was delicious but a bit too sweet for my liking. If you like sweet alcoholic drinks you will love their sweet flavored margaritas. My chicken covered with white grave actually tasted really good in the brown gravy that was on my potatoes (I kept dipping in brown gravy then next bite white gravy), so good. I did try hubby's smothered chicken (which has sautéed mushrooms) it was very good. His meal was so good, I just might order that next time. Our server was Harley and she was just fantastic. She always brought hubby a full glass of iced tea without him requesting one. She was just awesome. We've tried many dishes from this location over the years and I always find myself ordering their chicken fried chicken or baby back ribs. On another note I just wanted to mention, I noticed a lot of staff were high school students (mostly busboys or hostesses) which I think is absolutely fantastic. This made me happy because these kids are trying to better their lives and not be out on the streets or stuck home on their phones all day. I love that Texas Roadhouse hires high school students and this makes me want to come back more often. I'm giving them another star from my previous review. Good job Texas Roadhouse!

I went for the prime rib, sliders, and my wife went for the brisket sliders. The meals come with many choices for sides and they have about three different types of fries you can get. My wife got the Texas fries, which is basically homemade from the real potato and I got the crinkle cut fries. The food itself is very good. My fries weren't exactly piping hot but hard enough to eat. Our waitress was very nice and on top of things. We found out that this place has music, trivia, and music bingo. We waited a few minutes before someone came over to greet us. It was an older, blonde female. She never told us her name but she had asked us if we wanted something to drink. I inquired about seltzers & they only had High noon Watermelon & White claw Mango. I was disappointed in their slim options so I asked for a Tito's soda with lemon. She brought our drinks over right away & of course there was a lime in my drink & she apologized & said it was her fault and quickly came back with lemons. I order the fried mushroom & fried zucchini appetizer and it came out prior to my meal. I actually perfer zucchini spears, they serve slices. These veggies were OK. They came with a side of ranch. The portion wasn't worth the cost of them. Another waitress, Kelsey (I asked her her name as she was so friendly/nice) was running around who brought out our appetizer but I had to ask for another silverware setting as there was only 2 on the table to begin with & there were 3 of us. I also had to ask for plates so I could share with my friends. I decided to go with the brisket with cheese sandwich & substituted my fries for onion rings. I had asked our waitress if the onion rings were homemade & she said "no, but they're really good." I also added a side of Western beans. The brisket was dry but it came with a side of yummy, sweet BBQ sauce....thank God! I didn't want the bun & just ate the brisket. The onion rings were OK & I didn't like the beans. They weren't sweet @ all & had a spicy kick to them. She was nice & took them off my bill when I told her I didn't like them. Our waitress did come back shortly after we dug into our food to ask us how things were & if we needed anything. She was a good waitress but man she seemed so miserable. She wasn't happy or chipper and it seemed like she didn't want to be there by her demeanor. There were games on the big screen TV's near by. This seems to be a "sports bar." AZ was playing. I did find that it was hard to hear my friend's while trying to converse with them. We asked for our check & she asked if we wanted any to-go containers which my friend's did as they had left overs. Things were brought over shortly but once she dropped the check off she took off, my friend even had her CC out & ready to cash out. I'm giving 3 stars due to the food & the prices of the food. It's definitely frozen bar food & it wasn't that great. Over priced IMO. 4 stars for our waitress & Kelsey. Just wished our waitress was happier & friendlier.

Our sever was prompt and very attentive. We order a zero proof drink (the Sunset on Sentinel) and the NA beer they had available. We skipped right to the main course since we had a quick turnaround. I went with the beef short rib ravioli and my husband had the fish and chips. We enjoyed some complimentary bread and oil as a little app before dinner came out. The ravioli was so flavorful (maybe a tiny bit too much cream sauce on the plate) - it was delicious. The fish came out crispy and perfectly battered, and flaky and moist inside. We would definitely come back next time we're in town and spend a little more time enjoying a full meal. We had a great experience.

They said 50 minutes, and added us to the waitlist, this was at 5:40. We got seated a little after seven (almost 1.5 wait). Then we got seated. The garlic knots were brought out and tasted pretty doughy but good. They kinda remind me of the garlic knots you can get out of the freezer section at your local walmart. No bad things to say about the bruschetta. Two of my friends got the Caesar salad, which they enjoyed. My other friend and I got the garden salad, which was fine. My last friend got the minestrone and it was adequate. Then the most unfortunate part of the night was our entrees. Two of my friends got the penne vodka, it had no taste and reminded me of cardboard when I tried it. They both rated it a generous 4/10. To pay almost $30 for that meal was diabolical. My other two friends got the lasagna and to put it nicely, they think the Stouffer's frozen lasagna could beat it out. They also rated it a very kind and delicate 4/10. Lastly, I got the chicken saltimboca. It tasted like boiled salty chicken with canned minced garlic you'd keep in your fridge piled on top. Not sure my breath will ever smell good again. Instead of Marinara sauce I got vodka sauce on my pasta and I guess you could say no taste is better than a bad one? Disappointed in my meal to say the least. Very overpriced Italian food that I could make at home for a fraction of the price. Would not recommend.
