Biscuits and gravy as a side - could have been a main dish.

The service was spot on. We felt at home right away. The food was delicious and ample.

Rye toast served with a small flair!

If you're ever in search of a good breakfast/lunch place with great food, great service and a very casual atmosphere, go to any Jerry Bob's in Tucson. I love this place because the food is consistent and the servers are extremely friendly and food is served fast.

The food was good and they were doing a lot of business. That's a good sign for a business. The customers all looked happy too.

Feast - Brined roasted pork chop 9/2026

I really need to visit here more often. For Sonoran Restaurant Week 9/2026 Feast had a nice tasting…read moresequence so it made our list for this 10 day event and all was terrific. We had a primary server who was excellent but several staff will circulate to check on drinks, food. We each ordered something different, allowing us to turn a 3 course sampling into six! The sheeted carrot "lasagne" was probably our least favorite, though by no means bad. And that is partly because the other appetizer (grilled swordfish chilaquiles) was sooo good. For entrees we got the Brined and roasted pork chop, and the Petrale sole. The pork chop was a solid, 1+ inch thick and surprisingly juicy (brining!). The sole was tender, delicate, and delicious with its gribiche sauce. Each came with excellent "breads" - super airy biscuits with the Sole and amazing pear and taleggio cheese fritters with the pork. We split a pair of desserts as well: Verrine: parfait of pistachio mousse - incredibly inventive and (nicely) barely sweet. And the Frangipane fruit tart - think of a light marzipan tart. Needless to say we loved both desserts for their unconventional riff on a standard. A definite winner from among the 125 options this year! Reservations are advised. Parking is easy in their just-right-sized private lot.

As always creative and good food. Great service. Wonderful wine selection…read more The dishes have great imagination. The rabbit was over cooked (which was unfortunate) however the pearl cous cous flavor was absolutely amazing. The lobster Benedict Sauce was wonderful. Egg perfectly cooked.

Cafe A La C'art is a slightly hidden, off the main track restaurant attached to the Tucson Museum…read moreof Art. It is an amazing pastry location and a great lunch location. We have been coming here for over ten years, either as a couple or when my work has events. They can be a little pricy, but it is an amazing location with charm. There is interior and outside seating. You order at the counter with menus provided to review. You WILL be tempted by the pastries. It is mostly sandwiches and salads...and pastry. The drinks are soft drinks, teas and limited alcohol. Food is always well presented, and they do accommodate changes. Staff are friendly but also busy. Did I mention the charm, the adobe rooms have tables and the decor bring the experience together. It can be loud at times, but not overwhelming. Definitely visit, especially if doing the courthouse tour, the Presidio or Old Town shops, other hidden downtown gems.

Lots of nature themed paintings and photographs. I also really like their patio. I had the smoked beet sandwich and replaced the goat cheese with extra pumpkin seed-pistachio- sesame spread to make it vegan. It comes with seasoned fries/ green salad with herb vinaigrette/ or today's side a vegan potato salad. I chose the green salad with herb vinaigrette and really appreciated it had some pumpkin seeds too. They also gave me a sample of the potato salad but I liked the other food I had better. My understanding is that they use frozen potatoes for the fries vs fresh ones but season them with a seasoning mix. The pumpkin seed-pistachio- sesame spread in the sandwich was called "tahini" on the menu but it seems like it was sesame seeds in it not ground tahini paste. The sandwich was really yummy and great for summer. Ordering the first round is at the bar counter but once you are seated after your first order you can order more from the staff. I hear that there is a line to order at the more popular times but there was not a line when I was there. They had lots of great looking baked good. One was vegan and gluten free. Great place to have food at while visiting the Tucson Museum of Art. They share a small free parking lot. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! An Evie favorite!

The breaded batter on the fish was a standout and I assume the same would apply to the chicken & Katzu sandwich. The service was friendly & attentive with the staff pitching in to help . I had been there several times in the past and eventually stopped going because the service was never great and the prices were simply too high for what you get. After avoiding it for years, I decided to give it another chance and took my 82-year-old friend there for brunch. And lo and behold, nothing has changed. The food was fine, but nothing memorable and certainly not worth the prices, in my opinion. There was nothing about our brunch that would make me want to come back for the food itself. The service was completely inattentive. We waited quite a while just to place our order and even longer to get our food -- and it wasn't even a busy day. Then there is the main door. We were sitting inside, and that door SLAMS every single time someone walks through it. It was jarring and unpleasant, over and over again, and the staff seemed completely oblivious to it. Such an easy fix! Add the same slow-close mechanism you already have on the door to the outside patio. Or at least put a note on the door and ask the staff to close it gently. And finally, when it was time to pay, the server stood right there looking over my shoulder while I used the portable terminal. It's uncomfortable and makes you feel pressured to leave a 20% tip -- especially awkward when the service you just received was not deserving of 20%. I really want to love this place because the setting is magical. But every time I give it another chance, I leave feeling the same way. It just falls short.
