Taco Sunday's are the best day ever here!! Especially if Will is throwing down in the kitchen. Best little Sunday throw back bar around. #tacos #sundayfunday

Old Father Inn, Tucson AZ denied this 100% disabled 20 year veteran entry into their family restaurant on 12/16/19. The restaurant staff and management wrongly asked this handler for a registration card. ADA laws does not allow for a general public business to ask for a registration card; as there is no such card. The question a business can ask...Is your dog a service dog? And what task does it perform? That is it! Instead, we were pounced on by the waitress demanding a registration card. When I tried to explain to the staff that there is no such legal card, they accused us of bringing into their establishment a fake service dog. Now, I do not need to say this, but anyone looking or listening to this disabled handler can tell that he has problems. It is a shame that I have to say that, here or anywhere!! Shame on these heartless employees of Old Father Inn. So now we know that Old Father Inn only allows fake service dogs with fake registrations!!! Fake service dogs are a danger to innocent patrons. That is what they are allowing into their restaurant.

Our sever was prompt and very attentive. We order a zero proof drink (the Sunset on Sentinel) and the NA beer they had available. We skipped right to the main course since we had a quick turnaround. I went with the beef short rib ravioli and my husband had the fish and chips. We enjoyed some complimentary bread and oil as a little app before dinner came out. The ravioli was so flavorful (maybe a tiny bit too much cream sauce on the plate) - it was delicious. The fish came out crispy and perfectly battered, and flaky and moist inside. We would definitely come back next time we're in town and spend a little more time enjoying a full meal. We had a great experience.

Still yummy and very friendly service Ordered: Roasted Beet Chop salad: totally got the flavor intent but really wet greens and over-dressed. Cold Smoked Salmon: Liked the crispiness added by the fried noodles NY Strip: Really liked the crispy potatoes and the cook on the steak was great. Brocollini was a little oily but othewise, the entree for sure delivered. Will be back to try other parts of the menu but the seafood selection was lacking that day and even the server told us they preferred the smoked fish over fresh... Cheers, Wildflower!

I went for the prime rib, sliders, and my wife went for the brisket sliders. The meals come with many choices for sides and they have about three different types of fries you can get. My wife got the Texas fries, which is basically homemade from the real potato and I got the crinkle cut fries. The food itself is very good. My fries weren't exactly piping hot but hard enough to eat. Our waitress was very nice and on top of things. We found out that this place has music, trivia, and music bingo. I forget which days it is, but we just might have to check that out.

My friend's boyfriend chose this place for us to go to for lunch yesterday. They've been in the…read morepast. We walked into the bar area & just seated ourselves at a high top. We waited a few minutes before someone came over to greet us. It was an older, blonde female. She never told us her name but she had asked us if we wanted something to drink. I inquired about seltzers & they only had High noon Watermelon & White claw Mango. I was disappointed in their slim options so I asked for a Tito's soda with lemon. She brought our drinks over right away & of course there was a lime in my drink & she apologized & said it was her fault and quickly came back with lemons. I order the fried mushroom & fried zucchini appetizer and it came out prior to my meal. I actually perfer zucchini spears, they serve slices. These veggies were OK. They came with a side of ranch. The portion wasn't worth the cost of them. Another waitress, Kelsey (I asked her her name as she was so friendly/nice) was running around who brought out our appetizer but I had to ask for another silverware setting as there was only 2 on the table to begin with & there were 3 of us. I also had to ask for plates so I could share with my friends. I decided to go with the brisket with cheese sandwich & substituted my fries for onion rings. I had asked our waitress if the onion rings were homemade & she said "no, but they're really good." I also added a side of Western beans. The brisket was dry but it came with a side of yummy, sweet BBQ sauce....thank God! I didn't want the bun & just ate the brisket. The onion rings were OK & I didn't like the beans. They weren't sweet @ all & had a spicy kick to them. She was nice & took them off my bill when I told her I didn't like them. Our waitress did come back shortly after we dug into our food to ask us how things were & if we needed anything. She was a good waitress but man she seemed so miserable. She wasn't happy or chipper and it seemed like she didn't want to be there by her demeanor. There were games on the big screen TV's near by. This seems to be a "sports bar." AZ was playing. I did find that it was hard to hear my friend's while trying to converse with them. We asked for our check & she asked if we wanted any to-go containers which my friend's did as they had left overs. Things were brought over shortly but once she dropped the check off she took off, my friend even had her CC out & ready to cash out. I'm giving 3 stars due to the food & the prices of the food. It's definitely frozen bar food & it wasn't that great. Over priced IMO. 4 stars for our waitress & Kelsey. Just wished our waitress was happier & friendlier.

Hubby got shrimp Alfredo fettuccine and i got spaghetti and meatballs. Husband said "this is the best fettuccine I've ever had in my life" and I never get spaghetti when we go out because it never tastes good. We did the meatball appetizer. This gave me the chance to try their sauce and meatballs, but already knew I'd get my "go to" ... Pizza the sauce and meatballs were amazing! I changed my mind and got spaghetti and meatballs for my order! I ordered a half, because now I was full from eating so much of there appetizers! Good thing, cause even the half wads a big serving. This is a must try place! So good! Service and atmosphere were great too! Oh, and we learned why they had the seating under the tent in the parking lot... this place had a line out the door by the time we were leaving and all the tent tables were full!

Dominick's real Italian is not that real or great…read more The first red flag we ignored was we called before going to the restaurant and asked how long the wait would be. They said 50 minutes, and added us to the waitlist, this was at 5:40. We got seated a little after seven (almost 1.5 wait). Then we got seated. The garlic knots were brought out and tasted pretty doughy but good. They kinda remind me of the garlic knots you can get out of the freezer section at your local walmart. No bad things to say about the bruschetta. Two of my friends got the Caesar salad, which they enjoyed. My other friend and I got the garden salad, which was fine. My last friend got the minestrone and it was adequate. Then the most unfortunate part of the night was our entrees. Two of my friends got the penne vodka, it had no taste and reminded me of cardboard when I tried it. They both rated it a generous 4/10. To pay almost $30 for that meal was diabolical. My other two friends got the lasagna and to put it nicely, they think the Stouffer's frozen lasagna could beat it out. They also rated it a very kind and delicate 4/10. Lastly, I got the chicken saltimboca. It tasted like boiled salty chicken with canned minced garlic you'd keep in your fridge piled on top. Not sure my breath will ever smell good again. Instead of Marinara sauce I got vodka sauce on my pasta and I guess you could say no taste is better than a bad one? Disappointed in my meal to say the least. Very overpriced Italian food that I could make at home for a fraction of the price. Would not recommend.
