My wife and I have been meaning to try Circle S Saloon for a while. They're about 25 minutes from where we live in Casas Adobes, and we love that they're out in the Marana farming community and are really the only Saloon/restaurant/bar around for a good 7+ miles. They're a pretty good-sized place with lots of bar and table seating, and even some outdoor patio seating.They also have two pool tables. The parking lot is good size. The atmosphere is welcoming and we found the staff (particularly Amanda) to be attentive and quite friendly. We sat at the bar. They said they were slower than usual for a Sunday, but we did go on Easter Sunday. My wife ordered the chicken wings. She likes her wings extra crispy, so she ordered her 2 sauces (garlic parmesan, and pineapple habanero) on the side. The wings were very crispy and cooked perfectly. The garlic parmesan sauce was great as was the pineapple habanero sauce, which was pretty darn hot! I ordered their award-winning Cuban burger (with ham, pulled pork, Swiss cheese and pickles). It was a bit messy but definitely delicious. I got onion rings as my side instead of fries. They were excellent and I could tell right away they were made fresh in-house. We also ordered some tater tots to share, which were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. I'm a craft beer lover so it was nice to see that, in addition to their domestic taps (Bud, Ultra, Dos Equis, etc.) that they also had a few craft cans to offer. We both opted for a Sierra Nevada Atomic Torpedo Double IPA and also each had a shot (or two) of Jim Beam Bourbon). We had a great time and are so happy we finally made it out to try them. Even after just one visit, they're already one of our favorite bars/saloons in the Tucson area. We will definitely be back. read more

Where to start my first time coming here was a complete bust, the ribs were day old surely microwaved before coming to my table. After leaving I spent the next few days in the bathroom. Oh and the service was crazy one lady warned me about a male bartender who can get handys. I will never in ALL my days go back and DO NOT recommend this place. Recently went here for a family members dinner on a Sunday! They have a deal on tacos that day, tacos are alright - they do need salt. I really loved the chips they tasted fresh and so did the salsa. We are new in town, and had to go in person to compare Circle S to Tumbleweed, the 2 local "dive bars". Circle S is a little further out of the way (10 minutes), but well worth the short drive on country roads. Do not expect any "specialty" drinks, like an Old Fashioned, or even a Manhatten. But there is a "full bar" without frills (Jack and Coke anyone?), and they make a decent Margarita. And no, the drinks aren't strong, they are average, and decently priced. They have about 8 beers on tap, and lots of bottles in the cooler. Taco Sunday is a local favorite, and we tried the quesadilla which was outstanding. So the full kitchen also puts this place head and shoulders above the "other" place. Circle S is clean and welcoming, with table and bar seating, 2 pool tables, music playing and a few screens featuring sports. read more

Shame shame shame, somehow you got my review removed. I went in with a group of people for taco night, and my friend bit into a piece of metal from the hamburger tube packaging. Almost broke her tooth. The manager came out and acted like it was no big deal, and did comp her and her husband's tacos. Are you serious, no accountability whatsoever. I am so VERY disappointed in the CirCLE.S I OREDERED A loaded baked potatoe. . First of all.the potato was NOT done. Now ill get to the worst part. Loaded baked potato consists of a very small amount of cheese. And a even smaller amount t of bacon bits. There was no butter or sour cream or onion on my potato. Don't sell Loaded baked potatoes if you cant even put more than 2 toppings on it. The worst part was that the potato was not appealing at all. Stopped in on Saturday afternoon after a dusty ride out in the desert along Sasco Rd. We were thirsty and hungry and hoped Circle S Saloon would be a decent spot for a beer and some food. It was SO MUCH MORE! We were greeted and seated by "JoJo" who made sure our hi-top was sanitized before we sat. She took our drink orders but then noticed there was room at the bar for us since another couple had just left so she offered it up to us. Of course, she sanitized the bar first. Menus were soon in hand and we learned of the special. Between my husband and I we ordered a teriyaki burger with coleslaw, a sourdough burger with fries and a green chile cheese quesadilla. JoJo was kind enough to put our order together for the 2 for $24 deal to save us a little money. The food was great and we could hear the cook in the back and it sounded like he was having a good time so we tipped him $5 at the end of our meal. After pouring us each our ordered shot, JoJo asked "Who's your favorite bartender?" We looked at our shots and smiled. My husband said, "You are today!" Yep - a healthy pour. The back patio is nice with multiple tables and an open view. We spent a little time out there and met a couple of wonderful ladies out there on the patio. I hear their Sunday taco special is killer. If I'm ever back in the area on Sunday, it'll be a taco-extravaganza for us! And we'll hope that JoJo is on duty! read more

We love out-of-the-way, small town venues. This is a somewhat rustic saloon with a homey feel. Great service! They make you feel like part of the family. Decent menu with full bar we took advantage of the Monday Burger special. We appreciated that you can request medium or medium rare. Fries and onion rings are good as well. Nothing fancy, but good. There are events coming up and we understand the new owners are planning some upgrades soon. We will be back - especially for the Friday catfish specials. read more

Well I haven't ate in the restaurant in about 3 and 1/2 years. I do order tacos on Sunday but I just pick them up. I didn't know there was a seating thing going on. My eyes have trouble dilating when it's kind of dark and I did not see the sign. So I went and sat down with my family and the waitress Crystal finally came over and told me that I have to be seated. I let her know I hadn't been there in a while and apologized. She got smart and said it's been like that for 2 years. I figured it was over at that time for her being a little mad. I told her I was waiting for more people to come so we ordered a pitcher of soda. There was only four other tables that were occupied at that time. We kept looking at her and she finally came over to take our order when the rest of my party got there. Which was well over 60 bucks after the fact. Once our food came to the table from a girl in the kitchen I would guess. .. we asked her for more salsa and to refill our pitcher. She said she would tell our waitress. We sat there for like 10 minutes with no extra soda or no salsa so we went and got our own from another table. We ended up taking our own pitcher up to the bar well she just snatched it with an attitude to go fill it up. It was my brother's birthday that's why we were there celebrating it. The waitress never came back to clear any of the baskets we had two a piece and that's just the tacos and not everything else we ordered. We had five of us at the table. We were going to order dessert and ask the waitress if the Circle S does anything for birthdays but we were just upset that that was the worst service we ever got at that place. She never came back to even ask if we were okay or needed anything else.We had to go find her to get the check as well and we were ready for payment and she walked off. On a bright note the food has always been delicious but next time I go I will not sit on Crystal's side. If I could give zero starts, I would. Waited well over an hour for our appetizers! Then another for an order of tacos! Unorganized and inefficient. The only reason this place stays in business is because it is the only food within several miles in a shady area of town. Ridiculous! I was embarrassed to even come here. This place is a little off the beaten path - but they had a gyro special and we were all over it. I wasn't expecting much given it is a saloon, but the gyro was AMAZING. It was so yummy and had all the fixings to top. The server was attentive and made conversations with us. It made it feel very homey and want to go back again. I have lived outside of Marana since I was born 63 years ago-with several years off and on in Colorado, Southern California and Phoenix. When Circle S Saloon opened it was about time. I love it. My parents were here for their nearly 80 years and we had family visit here at Circle S. I have never had but good things at this place because we danced, ate and drank responsibly. What more can you ask? And my grandmother was an Anway. Anway celebrations of 100 years was no way older than my mother's family of 1914. read more

I used to live in walking distance to the bar, and stumbling distance back home :) ON a serious note, the atmosphere is awesome for if you want to go out for some action on the weekend but don't want to drive the long distance into Tucson or even longer to Phoenix. On week nights, it's a place to kick back for drinks with the neighborhood friends. I never took pics of any of the food, but I do recommend the Jack burger and the hot pastrami sandwich. Worst service I have had in years. We've eaten at this place several times as it is local and have enjoyed the food. However today when we came in for lunch there was a huge delay in taking an order and then a good 45 minutes before it came out of the kitchen. When we were ready to check out the wait staff was nowhere to be seen, someone had to go find her outside in her truck on the phone. The place was pretty empty for Friday, no wonder if you cannot get lunch and get on with your day in less than a couple of hours. read more
