Good ol Cowboy breakfasts with great service and lots of locals. Right in the stockyard area. Loved it! Great coffee and anything's good here! Churro French toast was incredible and the chicken fried steak killer. Loved the ambiance of this off highway place. We'll be back!!

    Dining area, splendid decor.

This is a fantastic Cafe that you will experience the best breakfast or lunch in the Tucson area, a beautiful decorated western theme, nested in the Stockyard building, you will be surprised. The lunch was most enjoyable, delicious and the service and staff very attentive, our new favorite restaurant, you won't be disappointed, a local family business that treats you like family...5 Stars and more.

This place is out in the middle of nowhere, but a pleasant surprise. I went for breakfast with a friend, and it seemed like the only other patrons were local regulars. They were all very friendly! The waitress was nice enough as well. I ordered a tres leches pancake and the chorizo breakfast burrito. The pancake was moist and fluffy, and it was a nice flavor. The burrito came with a side of salsa and was also pretty good. It had a lot stuff in and was pretty filling. On the downside, I was immediately harassed by flies as soon as I sat down and for the entire time we were there. A fly even got stuck in my pancake vanilla drizzle :( but I did receive 10% off for checking in on Yelp!

Found Luna Cafe on our maps after leaving the Marana Pumpkim Patch and saw it was just down the road! Located inside the Marana Stockyard, Luna Cafe is a perfect local stop! The chorizo burrito (my go to when judging a new breakfast spot in Southern AZ) was PACKED with chorizo and the eggs were so fresh!! The housemade salsa set fire to my entire body but I couldn't help but pour it on! The country fried steak sandwich is (and i quote) the best sandwich my husband has had since moving here almost 4 years ago. The cheese crust on the bread was insane and so good! The pancakes were huge and filling and checked that homestyle box we all look for at local breakfast spots. Staff were super friendly and attentive. The decor is Stockyard vibes in the best way! Full of articles and photos of Marana cowboy history. Take a walk around the inside and take in the history while there!

We LOVE Luna kitchen!!! The best chiliquiles I've ever had! Everything we ordered was great! Love that it is family owned & runned! Service was great. The decorations are so cute! Definitely worth the drive!! Can't wait to go back!

Best Burger in the "Best of the Northwest 2025" was just awarded. I had to go see what it was about. It did NOT disappoint. What a GREAT Burger. Not a smash, but a nice thick Burger patty like they used to be and in my Classic Burger mindset, should be. Plus, the Luna Cafe is an experience. If you have ever been to the Marana Veterans Cemetary or to the Marana Pumpkin patch, well that's close to where this Diner is. It is a destination, not a place you will casually just be driving by. It is in the vintage Marana stockyard auction building. Very, like let's say Rustic & Dated, old Ft. Worth. Of Note, and it did not deviate from our experience, the restrooms and the entrance into the building are not very updated. They are part of the Auction house and are very dusty maybe due to the Wednesday Auctions. The Cafe itself is really cozy, clean and has awesome food and a great friendly staff. My Cheeseburger With added bacon and avocado was a 9.5/10. Huge. Fries where a 10.

Ordered the Chile Relleno combo with a beef taco & everything was great, excellent mole sauce & scratch kitchen home cooking taste. Pretty nice selection of slightly off the beaten path craft beers on tap, not a huge selection, but just diverse enough for people who enjoy different styles of beer, not just pils & lagers. Noticed they had some unusual tequila selections, but upon asking, they were collector bottles the owner was displaying, several were signed by the distiller. I was able find an additive-free artesenal brand (most were) & Javier joined me for a nice chat & offered me a free shot of a very fine tequila after we started talking tequila's & only after that did I realize he was Nana's son & part owner. Everything was great from my 1st visit, all of the staff were enthusiastic, friendly & professional while being chill. I was glad I finally stopped in at this location & look forward to returning.

Visiting Tucson with Lady Matilda, we are staying at a place near the airport. The airport is about…read more40 minutes from this location, but we were told it was worth the drive. It was. Lady Matilda wanted good, authentic Mexican tamales, and our concierge put this at the top of her list. The restaurant is a simple, open layout with a great-looking bar at the back. It's in a strip mall with a congested parking lot. A few great points: we got to the place just as a party of 20 was seated. The wait staff did not neglect the 2-seaters who came in after and, in fact, made sure they were set to go before focusing their resources on the big party. Wow. That rarely happens. We had a liberal serving of chips and salsa and bean dip for the table, and both dips were excellent. The salsa had an odd mix where I think they wanted a steady but savory burn, but didn't quite combine the spices correctly, leading to one chip tasting sweet, another tangy, and one that felt like I set my sinuses on fire. The bean dip, however, was excellent. Lady Matilda's tamales made her so happy. She'd been waiting for this experience for months since we realized we were headed to Tucson. The platter was more than a meal. I had the best chicken quesadillas ever. We shared our experience with the people we came to Tucson to meet, and they told us that it was their favorite Mexican spot in the city. It was their little secret because the place is small and can get loud and crowded. I hope I don't ruin their fun by sharing this but Nana deserves the business.

Unfortunately, Guadalajara is one of these places. What I like: This restaurant can accommodate well over 100 diners without sacrificing service. Food only took 20 minutes during a dinner rush. I appreciate a well-oiled machine. I will admit, the salsa gimmick is charming. What needs work: Just because there's tableside salsa does not mean it's good. I have never seen anyone use so much cilantro! The drinks are mid--the jalapeno margarita uses the mildest peppers in the universe, and surprise! It's somehow also loaded with cilantro. I excitedly went for the biggest, most famous burrito on the menu and it just has too many ingredients (beans, rice, bacon, shrimp, carne asada) to work. They were too ambitious with this one. My bad. I can see this as a really fun place to take a large group from out of town. I bet if you come from the Midwest (it is full of snowbirds from the Midwest), this is mind-blowingly good. By Arizona standards, however, there are just too many old-timey places that simply do everything better.
