    Saturday late morning

Sunnyside is like the old fashioned diners from the past. There is literally black and white checks around the walls and chicken figurines everywhere. The service is always good and the food is as expected. I had the diced ham and eggs (senior size) and The Manfolk had a guac burger with potato salad. To start off, the burger was good but he wasn't a fan of the potato salad because it was too sweet. Maybe sweet pickles instead of dill? Not sure, but he didn't eat much of it. My ham and eggs were just what I expected. But the hashbrowns taste weird to me. I don't know if it's the oil that they're fried with but I couldn't eat much of them. It's not cheap eating anywhere nowadays, but we were at $40 by the time we paid, including the standard 20% gratuity. It's hard to justify those costs but I think I'd find another place next time.

I ordered the waffle breakfast-the waffle came with a hair so I returned it and the new waffle had black bits in it. The egg was supposed to be soft scrambled, moist but was not. The service was very good and a cute ambience, the link sausage was good.

Never been here before but have heard A TON about this place... a coworker of mine worked here many years ago.... So while on my mini staycation on that side of town, we stopped in. The place is VERY CUTE and although I didn't actually walk around - it seems there are 2 separate rooms for meetings or large get togethers. Counter that seats maybe 10. No booths/ just tables. I get it, booths are pricey to keep up. We were sat right away, our wonderful server, Beth, took great care of us. Food is typical. Nothing crazy.... But all delicious. If we are ever that way, we'd eat here again. P.S. I love reading other reviews before I actually post mine- just incase I forgot something.... to the lady who stared at her waffle in the window for 20 minutes... Really? 20 minutes... do you know how long 20 minutes is? Get outta here over exaggerator. Ha! P.S.S. - not related but I NEEDED to know what use to be in the empty lot next door; Quik Mart. Ha.

This small cheerful Mexican restaurant has decent fare. I came here for dinner and it had quite a crowd. The service was good for a pleasant dining experience.

This is a cute little restaurant that serves breakfast all day. I had the chicken fried steak with an over easy egg and hash browns. The food was good they were fast and timely the only thing that I would say is the hash browns needed to be cooked a little bit longer.

We enjoyed our breakfast here. They have a nice menu with breakfast and lunch items, reasonable prices, quick and friendly service. I got the chicken fried steak with eggs. The steak was very tender and a crispy coating. It came with a large portion of hash browns, two eggs, and toast. Our server was very efficient and we got our food quickly.

This brunch place has a small town feel but is located in a ritzy location north of Tucson, in Catalina. It's a quaint and inviting place, and the staff is very friendly. The food I ordered, eggs benedict, was great. However, one of the eggs was completely overdone so it was not runny, but solid. The other egg was a bit better. The hash browns were spot on...crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They have some other items on their menu which sound amazing, so I'll definitely be back for more!

The line was the usual long line and with my dog, was much better as people talk and pet dogs in line and it went fairly fast. The line was in shade with the nearby tree so it made it that much better. The ambiance is the misters around that are welcomed by all, the pretty tree and greenery and fencing and signage they have used to decorate this small outdoor place so well. The shaded and covered tables outside had various chairs and enough space for people to rotate in and out- esp with our dogs that love the cool brick to lie on:) Now, the absolute best part is the food- still amazingly worth waiting for and delicious!! I got the burrito( basic has potato, egg, beans , cheese) and the protein I added was bacon and extra was guac. Also got the 16oz Dirty Chai. I wouldn't say that it is top of the line cooking, but it is very delicious and definitely worth a visit this side of town. Parking can be a little challenging, they do share a parking lot with other businesses, but close in, there are not that many spots. Service is always friendly and makes you feel comfortable. Interesting atmosphere with flamingos galore and other things decorating the inside. Gives it somewhat of a party and fun feel. Food comes out in a timely manner even when they are very busy. Prices are reasonable. Give it a try, I think you'll like it. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. (well once in taste, but I'll get to that) They have great in-house made items. Like the Challa bread, the preserves, their pesto. They most certainly know what they're doing. I had unseasoned filet mignon once, I believe it was the omelette. I talked to the manager. Now I wasnt upset, didn't send it back, I just told them what I experienced and mused that I found it odd the cook forgot a simple thing like salt. The manager acknowledged my complaint and that was all; or at least I was fine. Nope, she came back with a to-go box of croissants topped with cream and berries as an apology. They were tremendous by the way. She didn't have to do that. The ambiance is it's only weak point, but even that is minor. Simple black is fine. It's modern feeling and doesn't stand out loudly. They have outdoor seating, which early in the morning is fine, but id avoid in the summer, which will likely mean you'll be waiting, depending on the time. Oh! I forgot to mention, they have very good drinks. They really are intentional about the blend of flavors, they have a little something for everyone. All in all, I cannot recommend this place enough. The food: We gotta talk about their French onion soup. It was pretty dang delicious! The broth itself is quite nice, a nice cheese portion, and the baguette was divine.
