The Prep Omelette was seriously so delicious and seasoned to perfection. It was well balanced and cooked well. The potatoes! YUM! They were crispy but still soft. The toast and jam...that jam is to die for! Husband enjoyed his french toast and fruit, as well! We were both very impressed. Service was good too, I was never in need of anything, and my coffee was filled when I needed it! It was also very clean and wasn't overly expensive. Love love love this place! Yummy food, drinks and pastries. Dog friendly patio. This is one of our favorite brunch spots. The food is delicious and they give a perfect portion. Every dish we have tried has been fresh, tasty and great presentation. They always have a diverse spread of pastries so we grab a few to take home. All of their pastries have been amazing. My favorite is their cronut and the raspberry pop tart. Lastly and maybe most importantly, is their delicious drinks. I love the butterfly pea mimosa! Their butterfly pea palmer is great as well. I drove by shortly after they opened and it wasn't busy, so I stopped in for breakfast. I love the atmosphere of this place. It's beautifully decorated and very bright and airy. The waitress was great. I didn't catch her name, but she took good care of me. I ordered the Rose Vanilla Chai and the Blueberry Yogurt Bowl. The chai wasn't my favorite. I usually prefer a more full bodied, spicy chai. The rose and vanilla flavoring was nice, but it's probably not something I would order again. The yogurt bowl portion size was huge, and their granola is delicious. It started to get pretty busy and a bit loud, but overall it was a nice start to the day. The baked treats case looked amazing, but I was trying to be good, so I kept moving. A cute and bright spot for a brunch crew of any size! If you do stop in, make sure to get an omelette; they steal the show. Honestly, the potatoes that come with the omelette steal the show. They're fluffy and crispy and perfectly seasoned!! The pastries also lived up to expectations. Definitely richer than most but yummy. Unfortunately, the french toast was just okay. Visited Prep & Pastry for Easter Brunch today. Prep & Pastry continues to bring consistently good food and excellent ambiance to the Tucson Brunch scene. While busy, the staff was well prepared for the Easter onslaught. Service was prompt, friendly and efficient. My dining partner and I started out with Mimosa's (because, brunch!), The Cure for me and Fuzzy Navel Mimosa for herself. I got the Southwest Croissant Breakfast Sandwich and partner got the Monte Cristo. We both got the breakfast potatoes on the side. All good incredibly tasty. I was near by shopping and decided to treat myself at this location which I am not often near. It was a weekend so a little busy but I still managed to find parking in their spacious lot and a seat at the bar (which I prefer as a party of one ). I had excellent service, very friendly and attentive. I took her recommendation for the mango mimosa and steak and egg sandwich and was not disappointed with either. Also Preps potato's are always on point so crispy but soft on the inside. I haven't been in years and this visit was just as good as I remembered! There are lots of gluten friendly options and seasonal ones. I had the smoked salmon bowl and rose chai. Both were amazing and I'm still thinking of both. I already can't wait to go back. The potatoes were perfectly crispy and tasted better than I remembered. We made a reservation for 1115 on Father's Day and there were people waiting but loads of empty tables. We came for the poutine but found out that the menu was changed two days before and that dish has been eliminated. Tried the duck confit and it was flavorless. The smoked salmon bene is deceptive because we expected lox but got cooked salmon (and a very small smattering of fried capers) that was smoked but it felt like a dinner fish. Fish like that for breakfast was not appealing. The shakshuka w added sausage was the favorite and the poblano Beni was good but lacked seasoning on the potatoes like the other bene. We had sausage and gravy for the table and the cure French toast. The S&G was flat hard biscuit not fluffy. The biggest complaint over all aside from the shakshuka was that everything was just warm at best. Food came out pretty quickly so the guess is a lot is pre made and just sits. The biggest compliment is the OM eggs were perfectly cooked and the waitress was delightful. read more

We found Prep & Pastry, Campbell Blvd, Tuscan, AZ by chance. They offer many unique breakfast selections. The service was very good. My wife had from the menu, Return of the Mac and a cold Latte. Made with egg whites with spinach, mushroom, bits of sausage, avocado and tomato slices including on the side blueberry yogurt. She told me it was superb including the latte. I am boring and had eggs over easy with turkey sausage, delicious potatoes and toast. Coffee was excellent. We ate outside. Weather was nice but had busy street noise. That is not the fault of the restaurant. Our bill with tip was in the mid $40. A previous reviewer said their food is not Denny's but a much higher scale. I agree. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I've come a few times but most recently, my birthday gathering with the girls. We were sat on the patio even though inside is better. It was warm outside. No fans and the awning does not completely block the sun. I hope they remodel the patio to be more pleasant to want to choose to sit there maybe a garden wall would help otherwise you get a nice view of loud traffic and the pretty pink and purple adult shop across the street. The staff isn't the fastest but they're friendly enough when they're not overstimulated. Sitting inside makes for a better experience but overall still good! Came on Friday for brunch, it was about a 30 minute wait. A lot of the pastries were out by the time we came at noon so I would recommend coming earlier if you want the pastries! First time trying Prep & Pastry and I don't believe it's the right place for me. The best item I tried was the Honey Lavendar Chai. I ordered the Prep Omlette which contains goat cheese, pesto, spinach, avocado, tomatoes and some potatoes on the side. The potatoes were huge but the seasoning was not consistent. Most of the potatoes were bland which was disappointing. The goat cheese brought the omlette flavors together but it was not the best tasting. I liked that it was vegetarian but it needed something else to make it more worth it. My partner tried the Prep's Sausage Breakfast Sammie with a matcha. The matcha tasted like the powder wasn't mixed all the way. Service was quick at the beginning and then they forgot to check in towards the end of the meal. The space is light and airy and I really enjoyed an early breakfast. I tried the Honey Lavender Chai, which was perfectly spicy, the Brown Sugar Prep Tart, and the Poblano Beni. The Brown Sugar Prep Tart was definitely my favorite thing I tried with a perfectly flaky crust, sweet but not overbearing frosting, and a rich, sugary center. We found this place on a Google search and were so pleased with the Grant location that we went back to the Campbell (original location) on our last day! We probably enjoyed the Grant location more, however. It was less hectic than the Campbell location and the food seemed to be prepared with more care. Grant location: The duck was perfectly cooked and such a unique combination of ingredients. My seven-year-old loved it as well. There is a cute outdoor porch for sitting, which definitely added to the experience. The waiter was attentive, but not super friendly. But the good food made up for that. I'v eaten here a couple of times now...the first before they were officially opened!:) They have great concept and I love the decor, the team and the FOOD of course! It DOES make such a difference when the eggs are organic and farm raised, and though I love' pretty' and style, I love healthy too and as well as the option to indulge myself.. and they have it all.
