My guy and I got multiple items from here and each one was mouthwateringly delicious! We even went back for more because the price was too good not to. I honestly don't believe you can go wrong with any pastry you get from here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My only critique is that I wish they had signs posted telling you what each item was.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Such a hidden little gem and soo worth the stop!

In my opinion, this is the best Mexican bakery in Tucson. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop is clean and you can even see the staff baking in the back, which I really enjoy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love stopping by on weekends for a fresh, warm concha. It's also a great spot to pick up sweet treats for work since the prices are very reasonable. I've never had any issues with service and everything always looks well-stocked and freshly made, especially in the mornings. Great spot!

I was so excited to try a lot Estrella bakery because my favorite coffee shop is nearby. It was a really long line to get in the door and several items in the cabinet were sold out so I thought it would be amazing. I tried a couple items and I really wasn't impressed by any of them. The pastries were too sweet and kind of dense without enough filling for my preference :(

Favorite place for baked goods. Best empanadas and cochitos available! I like my cochitos a couple of days old....dunk them in my coffee. Better than biscotti, only way to fly..... [[HIGHLIGHT]]The nice thing about this location is the courtyard.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Presta Coffee, Seis, Agustin Kitchen, are all right there. Busy spot but not long wait time.... Staff always smiling and helpful. Always a good sign. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Terrific people watching too![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Thursday afternoon is the farmers market which is a little smaller this time of year, but autumn is just around the corner![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you are a fan of the fruit empanadas I do recommend getting there early. That flavor is extremely popular and sells out quickly. However there are other flavors to choose from.... Cherry, and apple, pineapple... you get the idea. See you there!

I got a slice of cake from here at Bavarian cream and crushed peppermint on the icing. I was so excited to eat it, but when I opened the bag, I was shocked to find the slice of cake was just thrown in there, no wrapping, no box.. nothing. Because of this, the cake was extremely dry when I ate it. This really took away from the cake I feel. Who knows if it was delicious or not. all I know is I would not eat that again.

My gingerbread and molasses cookie and my Americano. Super YUM

Darn. This is kind of place that gives my blood sugar nightmares, but holy cow is it GOOD. The bakery items are made on site, super fresh and amazing. Walked out with a bag and sat next door with a cup of coffee and enjoyed one of my gingerbread and molasses cookies. Everything I could do to not open my bag and eat the rest of what I bought. Cookie was beautifully flavored, not overpowering and the molasses added a nice finish. And it was soft, like melt-in-your-mouth soft. Estrella Bakery part of the little Mercado shopping courtyard in Tucson. Good parking across street in front and behind location. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Short walk (less than 2 mins) puts you in the courtyard. There are a couple restaurants and shops around the courtyard making for a great experience. Tables all outside in the courtyard to enjoy a nice day[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Bakery and coffee employees very friendly. I'm honestly thinking I'd drive down again from San Tan Valley just to go here ... it's that good. If you are in Tucson for any reason, I'd confidently say the bakery is a MUST STOP. I got half a bag of bakery goods for $8. You can't beat it.

Always a good time when I pop in here. Beautiful and delicious treats. Friendly staff. I like to pop in here and get the mini donuts on my way to work (chocolate, glaze, sugar)

We've tried several donut shops in the area and it seems that after the 1st day, they are hard as a rock. Not so with La Estrella donuts. They are so tender and don't need a lot of embellishment. I really like them plain or rolled in sugar. They are so tender and delicious and we can enjoy them over several days without them becoming inedible. The staff are always so kind and they love encouraging us to try new treats. Absolutely, love this place. You can tell that everything is made fresh and with love. My hubby makes a run every couple of weeks to ensure we have them on hand with our coffee in the morning.

New location for this well-known Tucson bakery, inside the Mercado San Augustin located in downtown. Nice selection of Mexican and American pastries. Both the corn and flour tortillas they sell here are totally legit. I liked both, but the flour ones are AWESOME! Friendly service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a small casual spot with a just a few tables inside, and plenty of outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Ok so not a vegan stop , butttttttt they have some really yummy vegan snacks ! I LOVE the chickpea chicharrones!

Wonderful Mexican bakery! Such delicious baked goods for a great value. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I went to the location in the Mercado San Augustin, which was so pleasant in the early morning when they first open.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love seeing such a beautiful bounty of tasty goods! Especially when they're fresh out the oven. Very authentic taste per treat. The staff was also friendly and helpful. Looking forward to getting another box of another assortment!

LBP's bakers make the sublime goods that I recall from back then. Their crust is crunchy/chewy and their bread is substantial, yet cloud-like. Miches, baguettes, epis, loaves, rolls, croissants, & special flavors; all are highest quality bread. And their cake & pastries? Sainte vache! They have fluffy cream puffs, creamy eclairs, yummy cookies, flavorful pies, and more. And don't get me started on their cupcakes, which are moist and tender and even better when they're Cosmic. There is something indescribably delicious about the apple and cherry Crisps. *Chef's Kiss* The staff at La Baguette Parisienne is knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. They are also incredibly kind. On my last visit, I managed to take an epic fall (really more of a clumsy crumple) that included pushing a rolling counter across part of the store. My middle name is "Grace". The owner, Kim, couldn't have been nicer or more helpful (nor could the customers there at the time, so I guess kindness attracts kindness). She helped me to get up and was gracious regarding my minor rearrangement of her shop and cheerful enough that I went from embarrassment to laughter in record time. My late beloved Mama found this lovely, cute bake shop decades ago when they first opened, and she was a delighted weekly customer whenever she was at her east-side Tucson home. I hope to carry on her tradition, if less frequently from my UA-area home, until my time on the planet is done (bury me with a plain large Miche, a Cherry Crisp, and a Cosmic Cupcake, please). Highly recommend!

You really wouldn't see this place driving down Wilmot because it's tucked behind two businesses, with 4 fifteen minutes parking spots designated for the shop. It's a small little pie shop and all pies are six inch mini pies for $7.99. Many are topped with pipped whipped cream unless you order a double crust fruit pie or quiche. I think I've sampled every pie. The size is perfect to split with someone. No drinks or other things are available here, but one can purchase drinks down the way at Beyond Bread. The staff are always getting customers rung up and out quick. Because the space is so small you go in the entrance, order your pies and then go out an exit door. There's no room for meandering or window shopping. You just wait your turn to look and order right away and I rung up the whole space is quite small nonetheless it's fun to go there and get a little treat now and again. And today was one of those days. My mom and I parked while my sister was checking out Bookmans. We picked out a pie to share, went to the patio to eat it, and it was good.
