Stopped by Nomico Desserts with friends, and while the menu looked promising, the experience didn't quite deliver. Two friends got boba drinks--one Thai tea and one milk tea--and both were disappointed by the boba, which was very hard and undercooked. The Thai tea also lacked its signature flavor, tasting more like watered-down sugar than the bold, creamy tea you'd expect. I tried the brown sugar raindrop cake, which had potential. The brown sugar syrup was nice, but the raindrop itself had an unexpected lemony flavor that didn't really pair well with the syrup--an odd combo that threw off the balance of the dessert. However the texture of the raindrop was good and similar to ones I've had in Japan. While the presentation was cute, the flavors didn't quite live up to expectations.

Their dessert never failed us. Always delicious and great service. They have new items (flavor tiramisu)

Nomico is a cool spot for anyone looking to try a new and different kind of dessert. Highly recommend the crepe cakes, we got one of each flavor and every person liked a different one- the matcha is by far the most unique though, the chocolate kind of reminds me of a coffee tiramisu (?) They're light and fluffy and full of flavor but can quickly become heavy and sweet so it's good to share a slice. The egg puffs are also like eggy waffles/very crepe like but with the toppings are absolutely scrumptious! and the ice cream on there was *chefs kiss* You order at the Kiosk and they'll bring your food out to you, it's a smaller shop but they have board games and books for you to read on the side! Definitely a spot to check out if when you have a sweet tooth and want something different!

You walk in and order at a kiosk. They have a few Tables so you can sit down if you don't take your food to go. They had a couple of books and games in the corner that you could play while you waited/ate. Cute little shop . Came here to try the raindrop cake. It was interesting. No real taste, kind of a Jell-O texture. And they give you a topping to put on top. We chose the grapefruit. I didn't love it, but it was an interesting experience. We also had the house bowl that was delicious! We did a grass jelly base with mango toppings. They had 10 different kinds of tiramisu to choose from. And a variety of drinks. I plan to come back and try some of their drinks drinks.

Grass jelly base with mango, taro balls, and red beans

the dessert was not too sweet (huge plus). i built my own with a grass jelly base, mango, taro balls, and red beans. the fruit was fresh and balls were chewy. it would be great if they had an option to add shave ice to the base like meetfresh does.

Disappointed that you order at the kiosk instead of in person. The interior has changed also, sterile with big tables and loud music. I love panna cota and it's not the same as before. The red beans were not good.

First time visit to this desert shop. Desert menu items are Japanese based. The staff was very helpful on helping me deciding what to try. Tried a layered cake which apparently only this shop makes. It was delicious. Will be returning to try something different.

Strawberry green tea--green tea flavor not overpowered by the delicious fresh strawberries inside. Perfect! Mango milk tea was similarly amazing. Great new find!

Bubble waffle with strawberries and ice cream

I think Nomico and I might have different definitions of "healthy" but the dessert we ordered was tasty. The staff was friendly and recommended the bubble waffle with ice cream. The crepe cake also looked very tempting as well. The waffle looks like an edible pop it and we liked the contrast of the crunchy and chewy. The strawberries were a nice sour contrast to the sweet ice cream, chocolate syrup and the waffle. They also serve various boba drinks which looked pretty good. My wife described the decor as "as guy definitely did this". It wasn't bad just a little barren. But if you want to try some Asian style desserts this is a good place to check out.

layer cake

Every time I'm in the area I have to stop in and get the layered cake. I've had just about everything and it is delicious but the layer cake is extra special.

I LOVE Nomico! This is the sweetest little stop for some fun desserts. I am personally smitten by the whimsy of raindrop cake and I really love bringing people here to share it with them. You can see the wonder in people's eyes when they receive it. Each raindrop cake comes with your choice of lime, grapefruit or brown sugar syrup to pour over the cake. Also try the grass jelly! Nomico is so bright inside and always clean, definitely a fun spot to share, or surprise your kids with, and the staff is always so kind!

The dessert are excellent. We had taro tiramisu which has real taro paste and fluffy cake texture. Very surprisingly and satisfying.

One of the best Taro boba teas in Tucson. I've tried a lot of Taro milk teas and Nomico has one of the best in Tucson. Top 3 I would say.

Ask the Community - Nomico

Does anybody know how to pre-order the thousand-layer creme? I know that they only have that in certain days. And I could not find their phone number
