Honestly, some of the best gelato I've had here in Tucson. The spot is very non-discreet, located in a shopping plaza. It's easy to find because of the good signage. Once I walked in, I noticed how tiny and simple the atmosphere was, nothing fancy. The choice of flavors is outstanding! They had my favorite pistachio, various chocolate flavors, fruit, and even a low sugar hazelnut! They offer pints to go, coffee, and much to my surprise pies! I ended up ordering a small, which allowed me two flavors, pistachio, and Stracciatella. Both, were delicious, rich and flavorful. It had been awhile since I had been there and was glad to go back. They have some interesting options. I had a medium cup with 2 flavors-key lime pie and strawberry cheesecake both of which were quite good. The key lime is a favorite flavor of mine-love the tart taste and the gelato captured it. The cheesecake flavor was good but it was the key lime that I really loved. They have so many interesting flavors that it is hard to choose. The man behind the counter (I'm sorry to say I didn't get his name) was enthusiastic and encouraged us to try nearly every flavor in the case -- something I always want to do, but never feel like I can! The gelatos are so delicious, absolutely bursting with flavor. There were a bunch of chocolate flavors, but the hands-down best was the "Mint to Be": a chocolate mint with a subtle orange flavor. I could eat that every day and never get sick of it. Other chocolate standouts included the Chocolate Amaretto (dark chocolate with almond), Italian Tagalong (chocolate peanut butter), and Gianduia (chocolate hazelnut). Other flavors that wowed me included the blueberry cardamom, the vegan(!!!) sweet potato and coconut (it tasted like the best pumpkin pie), and the fig mascarpone.
