OMG it's been a few years and I totally forgot how delicious insomnia cookies is. We came by here for dessert after getting dinner in downtown Tucson and it was pretty quiet on a Sunday night. They have a lot of options here some of your classic flavors well also some really decadent cookie options. There's also some ice cream sandwiches it seems and a variety of milk to wash down your cookies. We got a four pack deluxe box and we realized one of the selections we wanted it was actually not a deluxe cookie so the staff threw in an extra cookie for us, which was really sweet. The cookies were warm and gooey without being crumbly and were just the perfect sweet treat. This is definitely one of those reminiscent of college places, but it's so delicious. read more

Roman is the sweetest worker ever! We cant wait to come back! Such a blessed soul. Plus the cookies were fire

We've been loving ordering the vegan cookies from insomnia as a late night option and so far all the experiences have been great. Warm cookies, prompt delivery. We only had one mishap last night where it was delivered to a neighbors door but it was no big deal. We still got them. read more

It's hard to beat a warm, fresh chocolate chip cookie. I tried some samples of ice cream but decided to pass on it, I didn't really enjoy the flavors. The cookie was great, but the price is astronomical for the size. The guy working was super friendly and patient. A college student in front of us ordered the big cookie ice cream sandwich (2 huge cookies and 3 scoops of ice cream in between), which came to $15!!! That was fun to witness! read more

This woman who worked at insomnia cookies with a slick back ponytail told me and my spouse "you're going to hell" in the creepiest voice possible, because we stepped on a cock roach while walking before we walked in and then she walks in and the place just felt extremely discomforting. The place smelled weird and the ambiance made me stressed out. We just left and didn't even try anything because it just didn't feel safe. read more

Always a great treat. We popped by here to end our night downtown. I had to get my favorites, the salted caramel cookie, and the oatmeal raisin cookie! We tried the strawberry lemonade limited edition cookie, as well as the carrot cake limited cookie. I Did not love the carrot cake cookie personally, but everything else was really good and warm. Yum! Staff was very nice. Service was quick. read more

Absolutely love the cookies/ice cream here but had the worst experience with the late night workers. I made an order through them, waited an hour, when it said it was delivered, nothing was delivered.. so I called & nicely explained that nothing was received.. They had an attitude the whole time, didn't apologize just rudely said they'll have to send another order out which I thanked them for but then I proceeded to get hung up on.. read more

The service was okay, though the person helping us didn't seem very enthusiastic about engaging with customers. I usually like to ask for staff recommendations since they've tried the variety of options, but the responses I got felt a bit uninterested. I actually came because I was influenced by a TikTok, but overall I wasn't too impressed. That said, my daughter really enjoyed herself, and in the end, that's what mattered most to me. read more

Insomnia Cookies - Snickerdoodle - Desserts Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

I'm not huge on desserts but I had an itch for one that Insomnia Cookies scratched. I got the vegan chocolate chunk cookie and the vegan cotton candy ice cream and it was phenomenal. I had to check with some friends to see if they gave me a regular non-vegan cookie, that's how good it was. Previously having various vegan deserts from other places, this takes the cake (no pun intended). The service was quick and the man working the front was very nice. The store itself was nicely lit and the high top chairs encouraged people to enjoy their desserts inside, which we did. If you're out and about and want a sweet treat to close out your night, I highly recommend stopping in here. read more

They have a good variety of cookies if you can eat gluten. They have only one if you are gluten free and two if you are vegan. I am grateful that they even have one, but it would be great if maybe they offered a seasonal flavor gluten free to mix it up. It wasn't the best gluten free chocolate chip cookie, but it was pretty good and they are served nice and warm. Pricing is comparable with other cookie companies and service was nice and quick. read more

These cookies are so good! Forget Crumble, try Insomnia cookies for a warm, delicious cookie, brownie, or order an ice cream treat. Good value, we ordered a half-dozen. The chocolate chunk were a little too chocolatey for me but I guess that is my bad on ordering. The sugar cookie and snickerdoodle were our faves. We will be stopping in again! read more

Insomnia cookies are mine and my husband's go-to. He loves cookies while I love ice cream. There's always great service and the Tucson shop has been the Best. What a cool name for a cookie shop!! As expected (based on their name), they are open late. After eating dinner across the street, I wanted cookies for dessert. So we dropped by Insomnia Cookies to satisfy my craving. Unfortunately, my timing was off. The flavors that I wanted to try were not ready. They were still baking, and we did not have 15 minutes to wait for them. So I bought a brownie instead. The brownie was delicious. The next time I'm in Downtown Tucson, I hope to try the cookies here. They sound and look so good! read more

If you want Insomnia cookies while in Tucson. I suggest you order from a third party and have them delivered. We unfortunately had only received decent customer service from two employees and I wish I remembered their bames to applaud them. My family was visiting from out of town and hadn't had insomnia cookies before so I ordered some for them to try. I had my husband pick up the order and it was slightly wrong. You could see where a cookie was placed and is gone and where I am missing a blondie brownie. The tape on the box was peeled so I didn't know if it just wasn't pressed down fully and came off the box or if it was peeled. I called the store to inquire what happened because I know sometimes they will give different products if some are out but I didn't get that chance becoming Rebecca became upset on the phone with an attitude like how dare I have the audacity to call and complain. I was truly shocked. She then said that if I just wanted free product that she would be more than happy to give that to me. Again shocked because wow, lol. After reading the many reviews on google and here. It makes sense now why they are rated low. Not because of the product because the lack of customer service. I really hope that the store manager or corporate listens to both phone calls so they can hear how the conversations went. I attached the photos so you can see what I am talkin about when it comes to my order. So if you want insomnia in town. I would order third party and check your order! I didn't open our box til we got home from dinner with my family so it was a few hours from when my husband picked it up. Rebecca responded in a way like we were attacking her and I wasn't. I truly hope the store manager listens to the phones calls and retrains current and trains future employees to have better customer service and to treat customers with more understanding. read more

I really enjoyed Insomnia Cookie...I was really looking for an actual ice cream shop but this was the only one open after 10pm. Like many others have said this is just an average tasting cookie and ice cream. The triple chocolate cookie satisfied my craving and I topped it with a scoop of mint chocolate chip. The store was clean and service was excellent. The ice cream has a limited selection but several great choices. You can just get the cookie, ice cream in a cone or cup, milk shakes, or ice cream wedged between two cookies. They also have a small selection of toppings and of course milk. They also have some pre made cookies in different sizes with funny sayings. Didn't realize this is a national chain; just saw one in Chicago. read more

Flipped a coin to try a new dessert place and ended up at Insomnia. It turned out to be a pretty great place and am so happy we ended up there. Walked in and was nicely greeted and started viewing the menu on the wall and the ice cream flavors. Saw a tag for Superman flavor and looked down to my amazement it was the real deal. If you're from Michigan or surrounding areas I bet you've had this or at least seen this. I was born and raised in Michigan and am so happy about the little things I find that remind me of home. Superman is a mixture of three flavors: blue moon (yum!), vanilla and red pop (yumm!). If you ever stop by or are debating on a dessert location definitely check this place out for some Superman ice cream or cookiewich! read more

Lucky or not, I stopped by Insomnia while waiting on my dinner across the street. I tried the oatmeal raisin, peanut butter chip, snickerdoodle, and white chocolate macadamia. All of these cookies were super good. I admit I'll need a coffee/tea or glass of milk to chase these delectables because of the sugar. These cookies are buttery rich, slightly crispy on the outside and on the inside, soft and a bit chewy. The descriptions of the cookies that you read on their site or get at the store are spot on, so you'll never be biting into something without a pretty good idea of the flavor profiles. I am also happy to report that they also sell cake sized cookies, cookie a la mode, and the Insomnia version of an ice cream sandwich. I am looking forward to going back and buying more cookies and/or wiches. read more

Thank you for the generous offer given for veterans on Veteran's Day. We got six free cookies of our choice from their classic cookies section. We chose snickerdoodles, double chocolate, chocolate mint, and white chocolate macadamia cookies. All of them were fantastic! Crunchy on the outside, but soft and chewy on the inside! What a treat! I wish the store was on the eastside of Tucson. Parking downtown is always an issue, but it would be worth it to have some more of these to enjoy! read more

Went for a peanut butter chip with a scoop of vanilla on top, my other half tried a white chocolate macadamia nut. The cookies are ok I was expecting more of a homemade, taste the butter melting in your mouth kind of cookie. These cookies tasted more like they were made from mass produced frozen dough. If I were an undergrad and out partying, this place maybe would've hit the spot, but nothing I'd go out of my way for as a sober adult. Staff working were so apathetic it was almost comical. read more

I've been wanting to check this place out. Who doesn't like cookies and having the availability of baked goods late at night? So, it's a pain to park here. It's downtown and there isn't parking directly in front. There's a garage nearby or you can park and walk a short distance. Also, delivery area is very small. The website is a bit tricky. I wanted to order a dozen minis. I'm guessing they were out of stock since I wasn't able to do so. The cookies were good, not great. They were soft and fresh. I think there could be more options. I'd like to try the cookie butter and ice cream options. This is an okay option but I wasn't super excited about it. read more

Delicious cookies.. We tried the 4 combo deal.. I wish the prices were a bit more reasonable but a tasty treat!

The cookies are delicious, but let's be fair, we all know this. It's the staff we need to rant and rave about. You will never meet a better group of people and you won't change my mind. Roman, you turned what could have been a disaster, into an amazing experience. You're an extraordinary person, not just an extraordinary employee. You gave me your word and a box of cookies were left at my door, just like you promised. Companies don't understand how important this is. Roman, not the cookies, is the reason I'll come back. He's not replaceable, he's the one in a million and I hope you're paying attention. Anyone who reads this, they don't expect it, but tipping employees, shows your appreciation for them, they don't get a piece of the corporate cookie. read more

My first encounter with Insomnia Cookies was in Tucson Az and California and I was hooked! Then when I returned to Georgia, I just happened to look up Insomnia cuz I had a serious craving and saw this location, OFF TO THE RACES!!!! I was truly disappointed when I visited this location. We all have bad days but the entire crew had attitudes and the worst part, the darn cookies were burnt!! I live over a hour and yes I drove it for the cookies but BEST BELIEVE, I ain't goin back! Just so sad cuz the area seemed so upbeat and lively ( cuz I live in the sticks) I just knew it was gonna be a new hang out. Whomp whomp read more

It's cookies. And Ice cream. And Milk. And it's open until 3am. So, what more can I say? The cookies are really good, and you won't be disappointed getting a desert here (mint choc chip ice cream sandwich made with dark choc mint chip cookies... OMG). I love cookies, A LOT, and Insomnia Cookies is one of my fav places. I actually skipped dessert at my dinners this week because this place beckoned me 4 out of 5 nights. Why not five stars? Well, it's just cookies, folks: Let be real :-) read more

Stopped here after dinner and was a excellent idea to do so! The place was rather small but well cleaned and smelt wonderful. My group went with their 'six pack' of cookies. Most being chocolate chip and some being sugar and snickerdoodle cookies. The chocolate chunk was soft in the middle and a bit more crunchy on the edges, perfectly baked! They were full of chocolate chunks (but not too much) and were very good. The snickerdoodle was my favorite though. It was very fresh and warm. It was probably one of the best snicker-doodles I've ever had. Not too sweet and the cinnamon brought it all together. Everyone enjoyed their cookies so much and so quick I wasn't able to snap any photos. Maybe next time! The staff were friendly and keeping to guidelines. Try them out! Oh! And did I mention they are open super late? Hence the name. So try them out when you are crazing something sweet super late. read more

To be clear, this review is entirely about service and not about the establishment's food. And that is because their service is so terrible I never actually got a cookie of any kind, or any ice cream, or anything else. I walked in at 12:30 on a Tuesday, hoping to grab a cookie after running an errand downtown. While I could hear activity in the back, there was nobody out front to help customers. Another customer was standing at the counter looking around and appeared very frustrated. I asked if he been waiting a while, and he said yes. There was no bell or anything on the counter to ring for service. I did call out, but got no response. I ended up leaving without ordering anything, as did the person next to me. This is no way to run a business, if you won't even let people order and pay for food. read more

After dinner last night, my husband decided he wanted cookies for dessert and had stumbled across Insomnia Cookies in a review somewhere. We were driving, so getting there is really inconvenient because unless you want to walk several blocks or park in the garage, you really don't have many options. We perused the online menu, formulated an order and decided on a plan of action to satiate our cookie cravings. We gave our teen a list and money and dropped her off at the door and she walked back to the car, which we parked in a spot she knew where to find. After our careful and clever planning, things went south pretty quick. They didn't have most of the items on our list so she ordered as close as she could to what we originally ordered. They also don't take cash, which is just weird. My daughter had been having trouble with her debit card, but as luck would have it, her card worked and she met us at our car with cookies in tow. The cookies were very good but we were all a little disappointed not to get our original picks. If you're craving a late night cookie, by all means, give them a try. Just don't be surprised if they don't have what you want. read more

Received the wrong order today from Rebecca. I asked her if she could drop my order to my car. She came out and then went back in. I called the store and she said she wasn't going to walk across the road to drop it(fair). The box was not opened until 4 hours after dinner. My wife ordered it and when she opened the box, noticed that a cookie and brownie that she ordered was missing and some cookies were the wrong. We called and explained this and this woman again (Rebecca) responded with a ton of attitude saying she "made it herself", "the order isn't wrong" "maybe there was a brownie missing but the cookies were correct I made it myself". Then she offered a full refund. She also implied we were trying to receive free product and "would be more than happy to give some free stuff but the orders not wrong". I called her back and told her the attitude was uncalled for and she cut me off to say the accusation was uncalled for. Stated that she didn't rip the seal on the box when we just said that the seal was peeled. She then hung up in my face. Terrible service! Your service is trash Rebecca and I hope you get fired. read more
