I'm not huge on desserts but I had an itch for one that Insomnia Cookies scratched. I got the vegan chocolate chunk cookie and the vegan cotton candy ice cream and it was phenomenal. I had to check with some friends to see if they gave me a regular non-vegan cookie, that's how good it was. Previously having various vegan deserts from other places, this takes the cake (no pun intended). The service was quick and the man working the front was very nice. The store itself was nicely lit and the high top chairs encouraged people to enjoy their desserts inside, which we did. If you want Insomnia cookies while in Tucson. I suggest you order from a third party and have them delivered. We unfortunately had only received decent customer service from two employees and I wish I remembered their bames to applaud them. My family was visiting from out of town and hadn't had insomnia cookies before so I ordered some for them to try. I had my husband pick up the order and it was slightly wrong. You could see where a cookie was placed and is gone and where I am missing a blondie brownie. The tape on the box was peeled so I didn't know if it just wasn't pressed down fully and came off the box or if it was peeled. I called the store to inquire what happened because I know sometimes they will give different products if some are out but I didn't get that chance becoming Rebecca became upset on the phone with an attitude like how dare I have the audacity to call and complain. I was truly shocked. She then said that if I just wanted free product that she would be more than happy to give that to me. Again shocked because wow, lol. After reading the many reviews on google and here. It makes sense now why they are rated low. Not because of the product because the lack of customer service. I really hope that the store manager or corporate listens to both phone calls so they can hear how the conversations went. I attached the photos so you can see what I am talkin about when it comes to my order. So if you want insomnia in town. I would order third party and check your order! What a cool name for a cookie shop!! As expected (based on their name), they are open late. After eating dinner across the street, I wanted cookies for dessert. So we dropped by Insomnia Cookies to satisfy my craving. Unfortunately, my timing was off. The flavors that I wanted to try were not ready. They were still baking, and we did not have 15 minutes to wait for them. So I bought a brownie instead. The brownie was delicious. Like many others have said this is just an average tasting cookie and ice cream. The triple chocolate cookie satisfied my craving and I topped it with a scoop of mint chocolate chip. The store was clean and service was excellent. The ice cream has a limited selection but several great choices. You can just get the cookie, ice cream in a cone or cup, milk shakes, or ice cream wedged between two cookies. They also have a small selection of toppings and of course milk. Flipped a coin to try a new dessert place and ended up at Insomnia. It turned out to be a pretty great place and am so happy we ended up there. Walked in and was nicely greeted and started viewing the menu on the wall and the ice cream flavors. Saw a tag for Superman flavor and looked down to my amazement it was the real deal. If you're from Michigan or surrounding areas I bet you've had this or at least seen this. I was born and raised in Michigan and am so happy about the little things I find that remind me of home. Superman is a mixture of three flavors: blue moon (yum!), vanilla and red pop (yumm!). Lucky or not, I stopped by Insomnia while waiting on my dinner across the street. I tried the oatmeal raisin, peanut butter chip, snickerdoodle, and white chocolate macadamia. All of these cookies were super good. I admit I'll need a coffee/tea or glass of milk to chase these delectables because of the sugar. These cookies are buttery rich, slightly crispy on the outside and on the inside, soft and a bit chewy. The descriptions of the cookies that you read on their site or get at the store are spot on, so you'll never be biting into something without a pretty good idea of the flavor profiles. I am also happy to report that they also sell cake sized cookies, cookie a la mode, and the Insomnia version of an ice cream sandwich. I am looking forward to going back and buying more cookies and/or wiches. read more

Went for a peanut butter chip with a scoop of vanilla on top, my other half tried a white chocolate macadamia nut. The cookies are ok I was expecting more of a homemade, taste the butter melting in your mouth kind of cookie. These cookies tasted more like they were made from mass produced frozen dough. After dinner last night, my husband decided he wanted cookies for dessert and had stumbled across Insomnia Cookies in a review somewhere. We were driving, so getting there is really inconvenient because unless you want to walk several blocks or park in the garage, you really don't have many options. We perused the online menu, formulated an order and decided on a plan of action to satiate our cookie cravings. We gave our teen a list and money and dropped her off at the door and she walked back to the car, which we parked in a spot she knew where to find. After our careful and clever planning, things went south pretty quick. They didn't have most of the items on our list so she ordered as close as she could to what we originally ordered. They also don't take cash, which is just weird. My daughter had been having trouble with her debit card, but as luck would have it, her card worked and she met us at our car with cookies in tow. The cookies were very good but we were all a little disappointed not to get our original picks. If you're craving a late night cookie, by all means, give them a try. Received the wrong order today from Rebecca. I asked her if she could drop my order to my car. She came out and then went back in. I called the store and she said she wasn't going to walk across the road to drop it(fair). The box was not opened until 4 hours after dinner. We called and explained this and this woman again (Rebecca) responded with a ton of attitude saying she "made it herself", "the order isn't wrong" "maybe there was a brownie missing but the cookies were correct I made it myself". Then she offered a full refund. She also implied we were trying to receive free product and "would be more than happy to give some free stuff but the orders not wrong". I called her back and told her the attitude was uncalled for and she cut me off to say the accusation was uncalled for. Stopped here after dinner and was a excellent idea to do so! The place was rather small but well cleaned and smelt wonderful. My group went with their 'six pack' of cookies. Most being chocolate chip and some being sugar and snickerdoodle cookies. The chocolate chunk was soft in the middle and a bit more crunchy on the edges, perfectly baked! They were full of chocolate chunks (but not too much) and were very good. The snickerdoodle was my favorite though. It was very fresh and warm. It was probably one of the best snicker-doodles I've ever had. Not too sweet and the cinnamon brought it all together. Everyone enjoyed their cookies so much and so quick I wasn't able to snap any photos. Maybe next time! The staff were friendly and keeping to guidelines. Try them out! Oh! And that is because their service is so terrible I never actually got a cookie of any kind, or any ice cream, or anything else. I walked in at 12:30 on a Tuesday, hoping to grab a cookie after running an errand downtown. While I could hear activity in the back, there was nobody out front to help customers. Another customer was standing at the counter looking around and appeared very frustrated. I asked if he been waiting a while, and he said yes. There was no bell or anything on the counter to ring for service. I did call out, but got no response. I ended up leaving without ordering anything, as did the person next to me.
