I finally took my wife to this place, we had my usual Dutch Apple Pie, but my wife and I wanted to try something different for us. Therefore, we ordered the sweet potato pie, and it exceeded our expectations! The staff is always very kind and helpful. Highly recommend! read more

This place is absolutely adorable. I didn't know what kind of sweets they served, so I took my grandson there saturday morning. Place gets a lot of traffic in there lol. Super clean super cute. Staff was very patient as we tried to decide what we wanted to eat. They have tables and couches and board games to be enjoyed by its customers. A huge variety of pies!! They also have a counter with a microwave plates and silverware in case you would like to warm up your pie. We got the whole chocolate pudding pie to take home. We got a slice of an apple pie and chocolate pudding pie to eat there. Both were delicious, but the chocolate pudding pie is my favorite, by far! I hope you go and check this place out! read more

Great way to celebrate Pi Day with pies from Sydney's Sweet Shoppe! We've had their pies before when a friend brought them over and finally stopped by the shoppe ourselves. We decided to grab 4 different pies by the slice. - Blueberry Sour Cream Pie: my first time trying a sour cream pie and now may be my favorite pie from here; fluffy, tangy, and feels like a lighter and less sweet version of other cream pies; the graham cracker style crust was so good too - Banana Cream Pie: flaky crust with whole banana slices lining the bottom of the banana cream - Sweet Potato Pie: we've had this one before, a hint of spice and smooth filling - Bourbon Chocolate Pecan Pie: we've also had this one before; richer than the other pies but good if you want something more decadent Recommend stopping by if you're looking for pies by the slice! read more

If you're looking for tasty homemade pies, this is the place. Our first time here was on pi day (3-14) and at opening there was already a few people waiting which was a good sign. As they opened the doors they welcomed everyone in. The first thing I would point out is that they have different sizes of the pies from a slice, to a small(5"), to a whole pie. It was hard to decide but we got 1 ea of the Dutch apple, pecan, and chocolate silk 5" pies. All three were very tasty. Look forward to going back soon to try the blueberry which they only had full pie at the time. read more

We were told the pies are fantastic so we thought we would stop in and see for ourselves. The pies are really fantastic. They are very delicious and we will definitely be a regular customer. The employees are very polite and friendly. The store is very clean and if you'd like you can eat your purchase at the store. Our wish for continued success because you deserve it. read more

I was scrolling through TikTok and saw this place, and I immediately had to get up and grab some pies! We tried four different ones: coconut cream pie, chocolate cream pie, blueberry pie, and chocolate cake. The coconut cream pie and chocolate cream pie were our absolute favorites--they were perfectly balanced, not too sweet, just right. We came back once again. The pies were just as perfect as last time--couldn't get enough of that coconut cream and chocolate cream pie. Finally, we've found a spot here in Tucson that can satisfy our pie cravings! The location was great, and the owner was so cheerful and welcoming. We'll definitely be coming back for more! read more

Went to the new location of Sydney's sweet shoppe today. I hadn't been in since they relocated to the larger location. It's absolutely beautiful and they have full pies, half pies, mini pies, and pies by the slice. They also have brownies and ice cream and other sweet treats. They also have a full menu of coffee and tea drinks. The folks working were super friendly and explained what all the different flavors were. This would be a great spot to have an afternoon tea and treat with a friend sit on the cozy furniture and visit. Or if you're headed down Mount Lemmon and want a place to park your bike have a coffee and a piece of pie. This would be a great place to stop. read more

I am addicted to the Texas Sheet Cake, love the Carrot Cake (no raisins! yay!!)! the Almond pie - it may be Vanilla Almond (can't recall) it is DELISH! I could go for more almonds on top but it is still lick the container good! Overall - Two Yummy's Up!! read more

The perfect place on the east side of Tucson to satisfy your sweet tooth. I just wish it wasn't so tempting after leaving the climbing gym that it's near haha. I got two half pies for pi day which qualified for their whole pi day discount. I love that you can get pie by the slice, whole pies, and half pies. It gives so much flexibility for people like me who can't decide on a flavor. The service was quick and attentive. The person that helped me gave to time to decide and offered me suggestions on what I was craving. The key lime pie was so good -- a great balance of tart and sweet. My friends love the chocolate cream one! read more

A sweet shop indeed! My sister & I stopped in for the first time and on pie day. The shop was cute and clean. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. We purchased coffee, a slice of mixed berry pie, a mini cherry pie, a full apple crumble pie, and a mini banana pie. All the pies for then and later to share with our family. So happy that we bought as much as we did, the mixed berry slice had great lush berries. The cherry pie was perfect. The crust was just right. Sometimes, with baked goods, I find that there are hard over cooked parts or I'm not interested in eating the rest. But this pie was ATE. Every crumb. Another note, I noticed that most customers that came in seemed to be regulars. The community that surrounds this shop is in high support and with the quality of dessert it is telling. Tucson is lucky to have such a wonderful pie palace. I look forward to coming back for more to order and hope to see these fine pies at possible future events! read more

Listen I was excited to finally check out Sydney's Pie Shop, and I have to say it was a quaint and cute place! I was a little star struck too because the owner herself helped me out this afternoon. I think I was nervous haha! I feel like she is a celebrity because I follow her on her instagram page and she markets her products, her name and her business very well! It's my husband 60th birthday today. I usually make him a cherry pie, but now it's just me and him and well I don't love cherry pie so I bought him his own cute personal pie. I bought a chocolate pie for my son and a Dutch apple for my daughter for when we celebrate tonight after dinner. I will edit my review when they eat them later! Overall her sweet shoppe is super cute and she is was so nice and very accommodating to me today! The results are in! Everyone loved their pie! My husband loved his cherry pie, he said it was excellent! My son really enjoyed his chocolate pie as well and Apple streusel excellent as well! read more

I love everything I've tried from Sydney's! Originally tried her chocolate cream pie and banana cream pies as the dessert at a wedding I attended. Recently had a slice of the pecan and was so pleasantly surprised. So many pecan pies are sickly sweet and I can't finish, but Sydney's was the perfect balance and texture, with a light and delicious crust too without being too crumbly. read more

Sydney's is such a special treat, we've picked up pie a few times and always enjoy sharing with friends and family. The coconut cream and lemon meringue are both great, I really want to try a few more of their flavors. Be sure to go early to get the flavors you want because they do sell out! They're also stocking a few different flavors of their slices at the Scented Leaf Tea Shop now, it's nice to be able to pick up their pie in other parts of town. I'm hope to visit their new expanded location for dine in soon. read more

I went to this bakery to pick up some sweets for my friends. I ordered a Dutch Apple regular sized pie, a small cherry pie and a slice of chocolate cream pie. The staff was very friendly and answered my questions, however I didn't ask the prices when ordered. I just looked at the display and picked out the items. Checkout time total was $57+!!! The regular sized apple pie was $37. Outrageous. The little cherry pie (size of a coffee cup saucer)was $10 and the slice was $7. The filling of the apple pie was delicious but not worth $37. The crust was tough and I really prefer a flaky crust. The cherry pie crust was a tad better, but given the price, it all should have been outstanding! I can get a grocery store or Costco pie for $10 that has a better crust and tastes almost as good. I went there because I was in the area and picked it through a Dine Rewards program. I won't be back. Good luck on making a go of this place with those prices and just decent quality, not outstanding. This was a bakery with a few tables to sit at. It was clean. read more

I found this pie shop and it was 30 minutes away from me but let me tell you... IT WAS WORTH IT! When I got there, the shop was so fresh looking. Sydney was there and greeted me with a warm smile. She gave me suggestions and encouraged me to take my time. The shoppe is quiet but bright. It looks like they are getting ready to move to a bigger suite. I got a slice of key lime which was just the right about of tartness. A slice of coconut cream and man oh man, that was so creamy and the toasted coconut was so good. The last slice was banana cream and it was not overwhelming which I loved! The crust on all three was so perfectly buttery and flaky! I definitely will be back!!! read more

I've tried multiple flavors they were all very good. I highly recommend. The staff is great. I like that you can get different sizes.

It's been awhile since we've been looking for a great place to have a really really good pie! Just like old granny's pies. Well this is it. Sydney's Sweet Shop ... she's got the best pie I've ever had in Tucson. It's a bit of a drive for me but if you want quality pies ... baked with lots of love and passion... a clean and cozy ambiance... the distance don't matter. I just got to try the carrot cake in a square slice and got a big pie. So far so good. I'm coming back ... now I know you're the pie jewel in town. I love that Sydney personally over sees all the baking and this is one local small business we should all support. They sell pies by the slice or whole and even half pies. That's just wonderful because not all of us can eat a whole pie . Bring your family or friends for a pie adventure... she has 2 locations. One in Tanque Verde and one in Ina/Oracle. I'm just so excited to know this place exists in Tucson. Oh... by the way she also serve real espresso coffee. You know pie & coffee love to hold hands Great job Sydney! Thank you for keeping your doors open. I can't wait to try your Double Dutch Apple pie! read more

Heaven in Every Bite - A Must-Visit Pie Bakery! If you're a pie lover, stop what you're doing and head straight to Sydney's Sweets! This place is an absolute gem, serving up some of the most mouthwatering pies I've ever tasted. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of freshly baked crust and sweet fillings fills the air, making it nearly impossible to choose just one. Their classic Dutch apple pie is pure perfection--flaky, buttery crust with a warm, cinnamon-spiced apple filling that melts in your mouth. The Lemon meringue is rich and gooey, with the perfect balance of sweet and sour and sweetness perfection. Not only is the pie exceptional, but the atmosphere is also cozy and welcoming. The staff is friendly and passionate about their craft, happy to recommend flavors or even share a little about themselves and their love for what they do. They also offer a great selection of coffee and tea to pair with your slice of heaven. Whether you're stopping in for a treat or taking a whole pie home, Sydney's is the kind of place that makes you feel right at home. Do yourself a favor--go now and thank me later! read more

I've picked up pies from here a few times and really enjoyed them. The shop itself is very cute and they have an expansive selection, with my favorites being the key lime and lemon meringue. You do have to go early because they sell out (I learned the hard way ) but once you have a bite, you'll understand why they are in high demand. read more

We stopped in Saturday evening before closing and shared coconut cream pie, Texas sheet cake, the last whoppie cookie, and Sydney was nice enough to let us try a key lime slice too!! Everything was delicious. We took home half a pecan pie and let me tell you, we have had pie all over the west coast and east coast, this pecan pie was in the fridge and was still crunchy like texture like Toffee, it was perfectly sweet and the pie crust was perfect!! Great job to Sydney and her dad Leon!!! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this local shop!! The shop was clean and inviting. Happy 30th birthday Sydney!! read more

Delicious and large selection of pies! Friendly staff and overall positive vibes. Really liked their cream pies ( tried a few and liked them all) but my favorite was the Texas sheet cake! I learned they moved to this new location from a few doors down- I had never been to the previous location... but given their delicious pies... I bet you nothing changed but the address. Definitely going back! read more

Sydney's pies were the best choice for our wedding desert! We decided to go with pie for our wedding instead of cake, and we are so glad we did! The process began with a private pie tasting, which was delicious and surprising, we ended up picking some flavors we weren't expecting. We chose a selection of 150 mini "party pies" in six flavors, and one full size pie to use for a "cake cutting" moment. Sydney's pies were delicious and the talk of the night and next day. We had hardly any pies leftover as people went for seconds and took some home as well. She even had options for our gluten-free and dairy-free guests. Everyone left happy, and especially us! You can tell that these treats are made carefully and with a lot of love. We would recommend Sydney's Sweet Shoppe for all your pie needs, especially if you're looking for a unique wedding dessert! read more

Sydney's shoppe is so cute, her and her dad did an amazing job setting this place up. And what's even better are her treats. I came in and ordered a carrot cake to try out for my wedding which is what you see in this picture. I ended up ordering my wedding cake very late, about 2 days before and Sydney still made sure to have it done for me on time and wow..... it was delicious and a huge hit! I have the left overs in my freezer extremely safe from freezer burn and on my 1 yr anniversary, we plan on eating it again for the memory. Thank you Sydney! You're amazing! read more

It is so bad, I don't know why everything has to be super sweet. Who doesn't carry blueberry pie?

I like pies and I like alliteration so I definitely wanted to stop and get some sweet treats when we were in Tucson. Since it was Easter and we went towards the end of their business day there were slim pickins from the counter but we were able to get a decent number of slices. We shared slices of pecan, coconut cream, and a mini cherry pie. Out of the three, the coconut was easily my favorite. The flavors were so creamy and rich with the flaky bottom crust. The cherry was a nice balance of tart and sweet with a beautiful latticework crust on top. The pecan pie was a little too sweet for me but did have a plentiful amount of pecans on top. Service seemed a bit stressed and rushed since they had to attend to other pick up custom orders but no biggie since we were getting our pies to go. If I were in the area I'd definitely come back to try more flavors. Details: - Owner Sydney is a native Tucsonian - Woman owned - Minority owned - Gluten free, sugar free, and vegan pies available read more

Great customer service, However, the pie crust wasn't very flaky or buttery flavor and tasted store bought and the filling was too sweet for my taste. I prefer a more European style, less sugary, homemade flavor. read more

All the pastries are individually packaged in plastic containers so if you buy a variety, it's a lot to carry. I tried four items, apple pie, Texas cake, carrot cake and pecan pie. The pecan pie was the only decent bite. The others were overly sweet, the cakes were dense and cloying. The apple pie crust was underdone read more

One year later and this Pie shop hasn't lost any of its charm! The owner still remembered me which is incredible given how few times I've visited (Note to self...visit often). The pies are really the best. The crust is still just as flakey and homemade tasting. Honestly better than most pies I've had at family reunions :0 A year has gone by and still highly recommend this shop! read more

I just had a slice of strawberry rhubarb that tasted so good to me. The tartness of the rhubarb cuts the sweetness of the strawberries and the crust was unbelievably thin. It certainly worked for me. Next time I want to try the blueberry sour cream. read more

I've been wanting to try this bakery since the owner's response to a negative review appeared on my Insta! I loved how she defended her bakery!! The customer service was amazing. The person helping us was enthusiastic and obviously loved her job. She explained what they had available, what she loved, and suggested items for us based on our preferences. I tried the coconut cupcake, the chocolate pecan pie, and the peanut butter pie. We also tried the iced Dalgona coffee. Everything was great! A wonderful establishment that cares for basic human rights! Their pies are the best in the city.

This pie shop is tiny but mighty! Things to love: It's run by a father and daughter, their recipes (many, but not sure if all of them) have been passed down within their family, and of course it's locally owned. They're located on the East side of town, so for me it was somewhat of a trek but totally worth it! I love that they sell pies by the slice, half and whole. This allows the indecisive folks to pick a few flavors; because honestly, there's a lot to choose from and they all look delicious. Follow them on Instagram for monthly specials and fun father-daughter content. They have everything from fruit ple pies to cream pies such as chocolate cream, banana cream, key lime, etc. read more
