Nomico Dessert was such a fun find. It's located between Petco and Ace Hardware, and there is plenty of parking. You can order at a kiosk, but since we came later in the evening, the cashier was happy to take our order and was very friendly. My husband ordered the Thai Tea with boba. I ordered the Jasmine milk tea with panacotta and boba, and we shared a mango tiramisu. We were both happy with our drinks. The panacotta is a great topping and the boba was fresh, even later in the evening. The mango tiramisu was a perfect treat. It had a jello‑like topping with fresh mango pieces, and the creamy moist bites were delicious. I really enjoyed the consistency and flavor. We played checkers while we hung out. I would love to come back to try more teas and desserts. I definitely want to try the waffle because it smelled amazing. There are plenty of places to sit and everything was very clean. We will be back! read more

Returned for more Matcha cake and the delicious egg puff. The Matcha cake was just as intoxicatingly delicious as the first time. The egg puff was so fun for the palate. Warm wafflie crunch but soft in the middle. Coolness of the vanilla ice cream with the tartness of the fresh strawberries and chocolate drizzle made a perfect bite. Beautifully presented and thoroughly enjoyed. As always, can't wait to return. If you love trying new things or already love Asian desserts, don't miss trying Nomico. Service is order at kiosk and the young lady who delivered our order was delightful. Smiles and welcoming spirit. Ambiance is basic and simple. read more

The place looked really intriguing with the name heathy desserts on it so after we ate Korean BBQ nearby, we decided to try their desserts for my son's birthday. The food was beautiful! I tried boba for the first time. The girl explained that the boba itself had a sugar syrup but they wouldn't add any additional sugar. I'm diabetic so I appreciated that. The two tiramisu desserts were smooth and fluffy. What a great find! read more

Nomico is an interesting place, from the name to their tag line, 'healthy dessert,' to the no frills interior. I walked in to an almost empty shop. There are some tables where you can sit and enjoy your treats and there are some board games you can play, unless you just happened to bring your own games. There are two TVs on the wall, but they weren't on and they still had their safety stickers on them. Anyhow, there's a small sign on the counter instructing you to order at the kiosk. You don't interact with anyone that works here until your order is done and brought out to you. I've been on a matcha kick, so I tried their matcha mille crepe cake and a kiwi green tea drink. The drink tasted more floral to me, I don't know if there was rose water or elderflower sweetening in it, but the kiwi flavor was subtle. The mille crepe was ok. I felt the dusting of matcha on top was too much, giving the cake bitterness. I removed the top most layer and enjoyed the rest of the cake. One thing that I unexpectedly enjoyed, was feeling the fork slice through each crepe layer. I think I had more fun eating the cake instead of enjoying its matcha creaminess. I'm not sure why Nomico claims healthy dessert - maybe they wanted to be contradictory? I felt weird being there, like they were supposed to be closed, but I ordered food and drink anyway. read more

Stopped by Nomico Desserts with friends, and while the menu looked promising, the experience didn't quite deliver. Two friends got boba drinks--one Thai tea and one milk tea--and both were disappointed by the boba, which was very hard and undercooked. The Thai tea also lacked its signature flavor, tasting more like watered-down sugar than the bold, creamy tea you'd expect. I tried the brown sugar raindrop cake, which had potential. The brown sugar syrup was nice, but the raindrop itself had an unexpected lemony flavor that didn't really pair well with the syrup--an odd combo that threw off the balance of the dessert. However the texture of the raindrop was good and similar to ones I've had in Japan. While the presentation was cute, the flavors didn't quite live up to expectations. read more

You walk in and order at a kiosk. They have a few Tables so you can sit down if you don't take your food to go. They had a couple of books and games in the corner that you could play while you waited/ate. Cute little shop . Came here to try the raindrop cake. It was interesting. No real taste, kind of a Jell-O texture. And they give you a topping to put on top. We chose the grapefruit. I didn't love it, but it was an interesting experience. We also had the house bowl that was delicious! We did a grass jelly base with mango toppings. They had 10 different kinds of tiramisu to choose from. And a variety of drinks. I plan to come back and try some of their drinks drinks. read more

This is a unique dessert spot. You order at the counter at a kiosk, don't worry, they have photos of the items for purchase. Their Matcha Mille-Crepe cake is really good, I'd like to go back to try the vanilla. They also serve different milk teas and raindrop cake , which is fun to eat! This spot is worth a try. read more

Disappointed that you order at the kiosk instead of in person. The interior has changed also, sterile with big tables and loud music. I love panna cota and it's not the same as before. The red beans were not good. read more

The dessert are excellent. We had taro tiramisu which has real taro paste and fluffy cake texture. Very surprisingly and satisfying.

I think Nomico and I might have different definitions of "healthy" but the dessert we ordered was tasty. The staff was friendly and recommended the bubble waffle with ice cream. The crepe cake also looked very tempting as well. The waffle looks like an edible pop it and we liked the contrast of the crunchy and chewy. The strawberries were a nice sour contrast to the sweet ice cream, chocolate syrup and the waffle. They also serve various boba drinks which looked pretty good. My wife described the decor as "as guy definitely did this". It wasn't bad just a little barren. But if you want to try some Asian style desserts this is a good place to check out. read more

Was super curious to try the raindrop cake and what a fun experience it was. Highly recommend. You have three different flavors and we went with the brown sugar... basically you put the strip over the raindrop. Light and tasty. Can't really explain it until you try it... And while you are there... their crepe cakes are so light and airy... and not too sweet.... Several other options to include boba drinks and waffle cones. You order at the kiosk and the food is brought to you ... quick service read more

We got the strawberry Tiramisu and boy did it slap hard on a hot summer day. Self service kiosks are also a huge plus in my book. Would come back here in a heartbeat next time I'm in Tucson read more

One of the best Taro boba teas in Tucson. I've tried a lot of Taro milk teas and Nomico has one of the best in Tucson. Top 3 I would say.

It was nice to have a quick kiosk to order from but it was still comfortable. I ordered the tiramisu and then had the raindrop bowl we also had the wanna cota and we were both stuffed but our sweet tooth's were satisfied and everything was delicious service was wonderful and the atmosphere was great! read more

This place used to be Nomico; the interior sign hasn't been changed yet so it still says "Nomico." They have a selection of desserts and drinks similar to Nomico, including a matcha red bean latte, Hong Kong style panna cotta, crepe cakes, etc. I ordered the Matcha Crepe Cake and Matcha Red Bean Latte. The latte was a bit bitter and it was not from the matcha; after separating the ingredients, it was the bitter red beans that caused the overwhelming bitterness. I would get a matcha latte without it next time. The Matcha Crepe Cake was delicious, but one slice costs $7.50. Very pricey, but satisfying with the sweet cream and matcha flavor. read more

I LOVE Nomico! This is the sweetest little stop for some fun desserts. I am personally smitten by the whimsy of raindrop cake and I really love bringing people here to share it with them. You can see the wonder in people's eyes when they receive it. Each raindrop cake comes with your choice of lime, grapefruit or brown sugar syrup to pour over the cake. Also try the grass jelly! Nomico is so bright inside and always clean, definitely a fun spot to share, or surprise your kids with, and the staff is always so kind! read more

Great place for milk tea or boba and sweet treats. Friendly staff. The ordering kiosk was usable on this visit, but I have used it many times before. The kiosk is great for people with order anxiety or other issues that make ordering with a person difficult. This visit, I ordered the large chocolate milk tea and a egg puff with Nutella and vanilla ice cream. The tea was perfect, as always. The egg puffs (I have also seen them called bubble waffles) are super tasty, but can be a little dry which is why I almost always add ice cream. I do miss the individual crepes filled with cream that they used to serve, but I understand having to streamline the menu. The location is cosy and very cute. The people running it are patient, friendly, and efficient. It's a great place for a quick snack or to get a boba fix. read more

Alright. I previously wrote a review about how this place ran out of everything if you go late. That's still true. Don't go late. I decided to give this place a second chance. This experience went much better. They actually had crepe mix and egg puff mix. My fiancee and I split the crepe cake and a strawberry egg puff. The crepe cake is basically layers of thin crepes with whip cream in between each layer and topped with either strawberry, matcha, or chocolate powder. I got chocolate. The strawberry egg puff has strawberries on top with whip cream and chocolate sauce. This is a very Hong Kong style dessert cafe. You can only find these things in Hong Kong. Places in mainland China don't sell these dessert items. We also both got boba. I'm glad I gave this place another chance. But my advice is go early!!!! read more

Came here during our visit to Tucson. It was quite late (around 8pm) and the kids wanted a treat. We got an egg waffle dessert and I got the passion fruit green tea. The egg waffle dessert was spectacular and the drink was good. The place was pretty bare as decor goes and everything was self order. The owner was helpful and nice though. read more

Probably not THAT healthy, but it was delicious. After having dinner somewhere else the wife and I split a "Traditional" and it was perfect. Loved the bubble waffle, a good balance of crispy and squishy. We were a little thrown off by the place being empty and just using the touch screen to order but I've heard that this is a trend so it wasn't a deal breaker. They had board games and cards in the corner (Twister? You do you) and we helped ourselves to a deck of cards and played a few rounds of Speed while waiting. It was clean and the music made it fun. Hope to be back again and try that crepe cake. read more

SO OPEN! They did a renovation and this place is GLOWING! So much more open. They even have a tablet to order from! Complimentary water and service is pretty fast. The bowls were amazing and you can customize your taste and topping. Personally I love pan-cottage and mochi with boba. You can't go wrong. I didn't love the matcha millecrepe it tasted a little off with cream cheese taste which I didn't like. Great desserts, just a very non-personable business. You walk-in and just kind of figure out what to do. Literally zero human interaction until they give you the order. No thank you or anything. Fortunately, their products speak for themself. Just a great dessert spot if your looking for something sweet. The grass jelly was excellent. Also, the music is great, but they could use a little more decorations, the inside is pretty boring. read more

Thai tea is solid though I don't think I've ever had a bad Thai tea. Mango milk was good if you're craving something on the sweeter side and like mangoes. I tried the mango crepe which was simple but delicious: mangoes and whipped cream in a crepe. It's definitely a lighter dish, however, and a bit on the pricier side for what you get. Otherwise, I chose the build your own, I'll break it down by components: - grass jelly as the base: a solid option. If you've never tried grass jelly, it has a slightly herbal flavor but it's not super noticeable in my opinion with the toppings - sweet sticky rice as the base: it was hard, felt undercooked, and I wondered if I was supposed to have heated it up first. Nothing indicated I should and now that I think about it, 81 cafe next door probably sourced their mango sticky rice from here since it looked and tasted similar (down to the negative texture). I would not order the sticky rice again in the future. - taro balls: good, soft without a strong flavor. They don't give you much though - red beans: I wasn't too much of a fan because it felt a little grainy rather than smooth (as it usually is in pastries elsewhere). Would not order again - coconut jelly: doesn't taste like coconut, I'm pretty sure its just that it's made from coconut water (if I recall, it's nata de Coco? If you felt like googling it). I'm a huge fan of this in general and don't really like coconut. It's a nice chewy jelly -mangoes: it was ripe enough the two times I got it as a topping, no major issues Overall, not a bad place to try some Asian style desserts and drinks. I would like to try their other dessert options as well (it's really really hard to mess up the egg puff dessert but I wasn't in the mood for it this time). read more

Great service, the place was quiet and very spacious with a lot of ample parking. The kiosk makes it convenient to order, and our order came in huge portion sizes so it's worth the price. If you're not into sweets then I would recommend their Matcha crepe cake because it's not sweet, just be aware that the powdered matcha sprinkled on top packs a strong flavor. Other than that, it's a great hangout place with friendly service. Definitely recommend. read more
