We love Frost! It's a hidden gem tucked away in the plaza right next to Sauce. We'll usually stop in here for dessert because they have so many flavors to chose from and it's the perfect amount. They offer cones or cups. And their flavors are fruity, savory, and very well done. This location is always very clean, classy, and the service is great.

Simply delicious with multiple flavors to choose from everything from pistachio to salted caramel even lemon cello the employees are very helpful and they let you sample so that way you'll know exactly what flavor of gelato you wanna go with. Looking forward to returning and tasting many more flavors it was so nice, smooth and creamy full of flavor .

Hot weather to have a Sorbet n Gelto was a wonderful tasting!!! Frost given out many selections for customers to choose!! I've pineapple sorbet and strawberry gelato!! Freshly and delicious feeling so cool and ice!!!

My go-to spot for gelato in Tucson whenever I'm missing my time vacationing in Italy! Frost always has the best texture and flavors when it comes to gelato, perfectly creamy but not overbearingly sweet. My most-ordered flavor is their stracciatella which has the perfect amount of chocolate in it. I highly recommend ordering some of their seasonal flavors and just tried both violet and watermelon sorbet. The watermelon sorbet comes with chocolate chips mixed in, adding a nice extra bite of flavor and texture and the violet was not overwhelming floral but more than enough to satisfy. This location in particular can get a bit busy but there's plenty of seating in the nearby area.

We've never stayed long enough to enjoy the space, it's always stop in and go. The service is okay but there. The space is bright and typically well kept. The options for dairy free are great, with several choices. There are some cones but I think some are vegan friendly and some are egg, I'd ask. Bathrooms available for customers, Greta indoor and outdoor seating options, large selection and toppings too.

This is such a special place. I am from Illinois and used to go to the Highland Park location because I had a friend who worked there! I always used to get peanut butter crunch there and then when I moved to Tucson, I was so excited to see that they had a frost! There is ample parking in the lot, when you see Whole Foods and wildflower, you know you're in the right spot. They have so many flavors and they are much healthier than regular ice cream. Service is always good, quick and they are always kind. There is outdoor seating and indoor seating, lately with the Winter. I've been choosing inside :P. Highly recommend the ***peanut butter crunch***, it is the one I get every single time! It is as if Nutella and Reese's peanut butter cups had a baby- SO GOOD!!!

First time here! Here are some of my thoughts in their respective categories. First Impression: It was a busy Saturday evening as expected with great weather around 7pm. It's a very small establishment with nice lighting ambience to add to the experience. A little confused as to why they were mopping in the very front part of the entrance were people walked in. We ate outside and saw a kid fall down in the wet area in front of the entrance and luckily he wasn't injured so that was a bit of an odd thing to experience. Interactions: Staff were fantastic and friendly. Very warm welcome and even delighted to see their customers walk in considering how busy it was. Service: Great! No complaints here. We were offered samples and even suggested to try some flavors which the young lady was very knowledgeable and kind. Value: Hard to tell with prices being elevated but for reference, me and my gf got 2 small cups for around $11 and some change. Pretty steep if you ask me but you pay for what you get :). Quality was excellent. Recommendation: If you like Ice cream and have never tried gelato, this is the place to go! Overall we were quite happy with the experience and would probably go again to be honest.

Great staff, gelato and service. You really can't go wrong here, absolutely phenomenal in every aspect of the word. When visiting Arizona, seek out your local Frost. There's no better way to cool down on a hot summer day than a cup of their deliciousness.

I don't have gelato often but when I do it's always at Frost! It's the perfect warm weather treat and always hits the spot. There are so many flavors to choose from, and they are all displayed so beautifully, so you may have a hard time choosing just one. My personal favorites are: dark chocolate, mint chocolate chip, and honey. I truly can't think of words that do the texture and creaminess justice so just take my word that it's amazing!

The calorie card that was on our table.

It was fast, delicious, had a creamy mouthfeel (as gelato should), and reasonably priced. As a bonus, if one is to trust the calorie card found on the table, it is way less caloric than one would expect. Of course, when I was reading that card my brain immediately had flashbacks to the Seinfeld episode entitled "The Non-Fat Yogurt" LOL.

Teaspoon is one of the best overall restaurants in Tucson…read more I've been here a few times over the last year or so. It has never disappointed in service, quality or taste. (well once in taste, but I'll get to that) They have great in-house made items. Like the Challa bread, the preserves, their pesto. They most certainly know what they're doing. I had unseasoned filet mignon once, I believe it was the omelette. I talked to the manager. Now I wasnt upset, didn't send it back, I just told them what I experienced and mused that I found it odd the cook forgot a simple thing like salt. The manager acknowledged my complaint and that was all; or at least I was fine. Nope, she came back with a to-go box of croissants topped with cream and berries as an apology. They were tremendous by the way. She didn't have to do that. The ambiance is it's only weak point, but even that is minor. Simple black is fine. It's modern feeling and doesn't stand out loudly. They have outdoor seating, which early in the morning is fine, but id avoid in the summer, which will likely mean you'll be waiting, depending on the time. Oh! I forgot to mention, they have very good drinks. They really are intentional about the blend of flavors, they have a little something for everyone. All in all, I cannot recommend this place enough. It's been a shining star amongst Tucson restaurants and I am grateful they exist. Even to how they organize their menu partly by flavor profiles shows they genuinely LOVE food. I love food too, and I love here. Try this place. Today.

There is outdoor seating with small tables and misters to stay cool. The inside has a good amount of space and A/C is on spot. There is also a bar with a good number of seats available. This might be first come first served but I am not totally sure. The food is a really good spread of options. Pancakes, german pancakes, french toast, eggs benedict(s) monte cristo, omelets, croque madame, country chicken with biscuits and sausage gravy, chilaquiles con pollo, avocado toast, savory crepe, and even a breakfast pizza. Oh and they offer a few skillet options too-southwest, loaded baked potato, and sausage and peppers skillet. So many options!! I can't speak too much for lunch but I did see burgers on the menu. Not too helpful in that arena sorry. The eggs Benedict with ham was awesome. Side of potatoes with a bit of all seasoning and a side salad with awesome light dressing comes with it. The dutch baby was also great. A german pancake served savory with sausage. Huge portion. Come check this place out and make sure if you don't want to wait you call in advance when driving there and ask to get on their "wait list" you may not be able to get a reservation but you can do this. You're welcome.

The one large ice cube is lovely for keeping the drink not watery, but it doesn't make your drink feel COLD cold if that's something you prefer. My cube lasted an hour in their glass cup, and the drink tasted great and flavorful even when it was gone. No condensation worries at all. Straws are nice and sturdy too! Would come back again. (:

At Crema, they use one big ice cube that resembles one found in a whiskey on the rocks.
