Avis Avo, Brads Beef or Gordi's Gorgonzola is so so good. Our family has gone to Beyond Bread for years (as long as I can remember really) and it's one of our favorite sandwich shops in Tucson. You really can't go wrong with their sandwiches. If it's Wednesday Pepperoni Pretzel Bun Sandwich is AMAZING. It's nothing fancy restaurant wise. Take it to go or dine in. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The service is usually fast and good. Gotta try their sandwiches if you're in Tucson.:)

I have not been to Beyond Bread in quite sometime. I met up with a friend for a quick bite this morning and had a great experience. Staff was friendly and although they were busy, lines ti order moved quickly and efficiently. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was plenty of seating, and everything was clean and well kept.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had Annie's Addiction-the bread was delicious and the veggies were crispy and fresh. My latte was yummy! We'll be back on a more frequent basis!

I love coming here when I'm in town. Great food and everyone is so friendly. It's so much easier to share the sandwich and get a side item so you don't feel super full.

Yesterday went so well , we did another sandwich lunch session for different company. This could be a new thing.

I ordered the Betty's Brie 1/2 sandwich with chips. Service was busy but the food arrived quickly. Still unorganized about the line to order. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are plenty of tables inside and at the covered patio.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's warmer out there but in the fall it should be good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Betty's Brie is my favorite with the roast beef, Brie cheese, mayo and tomatoes. It's sometimes hard to eat because the bread is so hard so I have to deconstruct it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's noisy when it's full.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Plenty of parking.

Po'Boy where the shrimp doesn't fit in the bread cause the bread is filled to the brim with lettuce.

03/22/2026, 10:32AM, Check #160, I normally come to Beyond Bread on a normal basis and they have been fairly consistent. This time it was too many issues to not bring up. My wife's order came out a completely different sandwich. The remake was made very sloppy. The Po' Boy sandwich was stuffed so full of lettuce the shrimp didn't even fit into the bread. The main issue is that I was served a ROTTEN apple. The outside of the apple was obviously soft and squishy and the core had MOLD! Why is the kitchen staff not trained to catch this? Why is the food expo not trained to catch this? When I brought it up to the manager, she didn't really seem to care. She did offer carrots or chips instead of my rotten and moldy apple but that was really it.

I met a friend here as it's a central location for us. Based on the name, you wouldn't expect many gluten-free options. However, they have gluten free wraps for sandwiches, and the granola is gluten-free. As with other Beyond Bread locations, it's counter service. Place your order at the counter and take a card to the table that identifies your order. I selected the house granola with oat milk and a plain latte with oat milk. Both were good and delivered within 5 minutes of ordering. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This location is large with plenty of room to chat with a friend or bring a medium-sized group from work. There is interior seating, as well as a screened outdoor area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My friend who can eat gluten gives a shout out to their pretzels.

Maintaining the same consistently high quality for over 25 years, and my favorite sandwich place in the Tucson area. Not only sandwiches, Beyond Bread is a cafe, which serves sandwiches (both hot and cold), a tasty breakfast menu, salads, soup and heavenly baked goods. Don't miss their Chocolate Bobka or King Cake. Everything I've tried on their menu has been tasty. My fave sandwich is the Betty's Brie: roast beef, Brie cheese, sliced tomatoes and mayo on a tooth breaker baguette. Too Yummy. My usual side is the tomato soup. Thick and creamy. I don't know how many pictures of a Betty's Brie I've posted over the years. And you'll see another Betty's Brie pic posted with this review. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Want to eat in, inside and outside seating. A pleasant oasis.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There are several good sandwich places in Tucson, and Beyond Bread remains a cut above

    Gobble me up salad

I decided to stop here and get lunch to go. It's in the Safeway shopping area on the corner of Ina and Oracle. They have a couple of entrances. I parked in the back and walked through the enclosed patio to the entry where you order. They have a kiosk where you can put in a takeout order and pay there which was convenient. It didn't take too long to get my order. While you wait, you are tempted by the pastry and desserts and I gave in. I had the Gobble me up salad that is sliced turkey, greens, onions, cranberries, gouda cheese, and spiced nuts. It came with ranch dressing, bread and butter. The mix of flavors worked well and it was a large salad-could easily be 2 meals. I also gave in to the carrot cake which was huge. The carrot cake was good not great but enjoyed it.

A really great option in the Park Place mall!…read more I've only been here a handful of times, not often that I'm out towards that part of town how ever every single time I have enjoyed my entire experience. The customer service is great, always ready to help and knowledgeable of the menu. Omar, owner, has a great personality. There is a consideration in the making of the food, use of ingredients for example the use of olive oil for the dressings and the chicken cooked fresh. Salad Nation is located in the malls food court, so that experience in itself can vary from very crowded, busy and loud to quiet and empty. Plenty of seating though! My go to choice is one of the salad size options (regular or large) that come in 'bucket' which is a deep bowl and of course some waffle fries. There are several dressings that sound deciduous but I find myself continuing to go back to the Cilantro Avocado. The waffle fries are insanely great. Hand batter and perfectly fried, some of my favorite in town... like top 3. Being that it's a mall, there is plenty of parking, bathrooms and space. You may have to walk a little to get to the food court but for me, it's worth it. Mom tip: Being a mom I bring my kids to the play area too!

Wow. New favorite sandwich shop!…read more The Lemongrass Beef sub was incredible. The beef was tender and full of bright flavor, and the mix of fresh herbs, crunchy veggies, and a little jalapeño heat made every bite pop. My husband and I split the sandwich and we both loved it. I also ordered the Honeydew Milk Tea with egg custard and boba. The tea and custard were perfect and refreshing. The boba was still good, but the texture felt like it had been sitting for a bit. We visited about an hour before their 3pm closing time on Monday, and the other days of the week have later closing times, so that could be why. I enjoy Capriottis, Firehouse, and Baggins, but Banhdicted is on a whole different level. The drinks are wonderful too. Being right next to Lee Lees makes it an easy stop, and it is close to the Tesla supercharger which is great for grabbing food to go. Customer service was friendly. Service was fast. They have an app for earning rewards. Seating is cozy inside with a couple of spots outside. It was comfortable for the two of us and not busy on a Monday afternoon. It is officially our new go to spot for sandwiches and drinks!

I got the BBQ Pork Banh Mi and my fiancee got the Lemongrass Beef Bahn Mi. Both sandwiches were fantastic: the bread is outstanding - soft yet a perfect crusty crunch - the meats were perfectly flavored and so tender, then wrap it up with the perfect flavor combinations of the fresh veggies & cilantro. The seat area is small & quaint, more of a takeout restaurant than a place you'd hang out. But if you choose to there are a few tables and it's a calm atmosphere. The staff was kind and got the food out ASAP. Overall I highly recommend and will be returning soon!

I was so excited to be in town just for 4 hours for a doc appts and couldn't wait to grab a snack…read moreat eegee's while I was in Tucson. I placed and order online so I could stop by and scoop it up on my way to my appt. After waiting 15 minutes I went inside to pick up my food only to see nobody at the counter, some workers passed me by but didn't acknowledge me as a patron standing there waiting for someone to grab my order. There was nobody in the drive thru either so I almost went through the drive through to pick it up but wasn't sure of that was proper protocol for a pickup order. Although I was in a hurry to get back on the road across town to get to my doc appt, I figured it would be safer to just park, run in, grab it, and go. But when I walked in, at around 3:25pm, it was really quiet and Perry dead inside. So when two employees saw me, made eye contact, and kept walking away without a word I suddenly was concerned about the work ethic of this establishment. Then I see 3 different women employees kicking a bucket in the back and laughing. One sees me, which I found out later was a manger named Arianna, made eye contact, and turned around and walked back towards the back without saying anything. I then continued to wait another couple minutes until she eventually came back out and said, "can I help you?" Yeah I have a pickup order. She says, "oh, I'll get that right out for you." With a look of surprise. Not let me grab your order but I'll get that right out for you. Which I assumed meant, she had no idea a ticket was even printed because they were all messing around in the back. I then see her start to put my order together. There was a ticket sitting up front at the register with my order but she never looked at it. So I assume there was a ticket in the back kitchen for her to know what I ordered. Then another employee comes up and asks what eegee I ordered. I tell her. So she started to pack my eegee. I ordered a bigee because I never get to come to eegee's as I live out of town. The eegee wasn't even filled properly. There was a huge air pocket on the center of the cup. So when I got to my appt, I grabbed coffee spoon at their beverage station and packed the eegee down, it was about 2/3rds full. They were also out of strawberry which was annoying as well. After waiting an additional 9 minutes for them to rush my order out, I head to my car. Check my order and I'm missing the buffalo fries, utensils, straws, spoons, napkins, the side of ranch. Then the manager proceeded to come out to the parking lot with my fries and started arguing with me. Telling me she's the type of person who likes to start the order once the customer arrives, telling me she didn't see the ticket, she a specific type of person this and that. So then I should have just gone through the drive through and it would have been faster? What's the point of placing the order ahead of time for pickup if you don't make it until the customer is there to pick up their order. So it took 25 minutes from the time I ordered to get my order and it was still missing items and the order was rushed and fell flat. Arianna then proceeds to give me excuse after excuse instead of just taking accountability that they were messing around in the back and not paying attention to tickets coming in. I tell her I now am going to be late for my appt and I won't have time to eat my food. No apology. She then throws her hand up in my face and says "do whatever you want." Not even sure what that means as I didn't threaten to leave a review or ask her for anything. Can't believe a manager goes out to the parking lot to argue with customers. I was shocked in disbelief. So unprofessional and horrible work ethic. Eegee's has gone downhill so badly over the years. It's a shame. No wonder so many are closing permanently. I was so excited and it turned out to be so disappointing. I thought this was the last good location and clearly that is not the case.

My order was taken promptly, I walked into the store rather then drive through. I was the only…read morecustomer waiting and 3 other were enjoying their food in an empty restaurant. It took 4 employees standing around and 10 minutes to make a half a turkey sandwich. The sandwich was good, bread fresh, decent amount of lettuce/pickles/tomato. They charged me $0.75 extra for house dressing instead of Mayo. The total bill for a 6 inch Turkey and provolone was $7.79. So not really expensive. I would stop again if I had a bunch of time but for a quick lunch while at work-- I'd likely go elsewhere.
