There was plastic in my sandwich rather than the veggies I ordered.

Plastic in the sandwich. Also was not made according to the order form :( disappointing

Build your own sandwich. Tuna salad, tomato, lettuce, red onion, and pickles on toasted wheat bread.

I was at the dentist and was randomly told about this place. When you get a random Rec like that you just have to give it a try, ya know? I was a little shocked when I arrived that it seems like it's part of the healthcare offices, I decided to still give it a try though. There's lots of outside seating that looks really nice and an inside area too. I did a build your own sandwich and got tuna salad on a toasted wheat bun. I added sun chips to make it a meal and a chai tea latte. They use the tazo tea premade bottle and add the milk. The sandwich was REALLY good! The drink and chips to be expected. I will be coming back here again whenever I'm close. It's a nice fresh option compared to all the fast food that's on this area.

    Build a sandwich!

This ain't no fancy bistro cafe. Let's get that straight…read more The day we visited there was a live cattle auction happening in the same building which I thought was cool & added to the authentic country charm. If you were wondering, the smell of cows was NOT perceptible even by my extra good sniffer. Probably because of the auction, combined with great reviews - the place was packed with cowboys/girls & farmers along with a mix of other diners. Young, old, hip, not hip, all getting along in there. Wait staff was busy as could be, but kindly took our order & served our dishes while they were still piping hot which is a pet peeve when it's not. Menu had gluten free and vegetarian options which I didn't expect but did think was smart & I'll def try one of them next time I eat here. Lots of choices for everyone. Prices were the usual for this economy ($15+ person entree, excluding beverage or spendier stuff like steak). The place smelled like a good diner ought to: sizzling fragrance of thick bacon & burgers, scent of fresh coffee, toasted breads & perfectly cooked eggs. I ordered the Breakfast Torta, a SW twist on a bfast sammy - egg, bacon, tomato with gorgeous & plentiful avocado atop a thick smear of housemade refried beans. All packed into the freshest torta bread I've eaten anywhere. My husband had the chicken fried steak breakfast with crispy house potatoes. They serve Pepsi products so hubs had a big glass of chocolate milk (nice sized!) and I had water & a side of fruit. Golly! The portions were generous and whoever is cooking clearly knows what they're doing cause I could taste the love in every bite. (Even the bites of not-my-entree under the guise of needing to review his plate, too!). The chicken fried steak was perfectly seasoned, inside and out and the thickish gravy had a zest to it which really made the dish extra good. I was pleasantly surprised that the home fries were perfectly crisp. Usually it's the side dishes at many cafes that I find a real let down. Not here. Start to finish, everything was dinerliciously great. Five stars for executing country cafe food without cutting corners. Had enough to enjoy some for next days' lunch. It is a down home country cafe & deserves all the stars. Yeehaw!

I'm so happy to have found this place ! You order at the counter and there is plenty of seating. I ordered the tri-color Vietnamese dessert called Chè Ba Mau, which translates literally to tri-color dessert. Chè is a traditional category of Vietnamese desserts that can range from sweet soups to puddings, and it often combines various beans, jellies, and fruits with coconut milk and shaved ice, traditionally. This particular one here consists of coconut milk, pandan agar jelly, red beans, and water chestnut coated in tapioca. The hubby ordered the grass jelly and coconut milk dessert. The grass jelly has a mild herbal depth and it is balanced beautifully by the smooth, lightly sweet coconut milk. Both are equally refreshing and sweet, with quality ingredients that really make it satisfying on a hot Tucson day. I absolutely will be returning here for future Vietnamese desserts!!

I definitely do not regret that decision. This visit, I focused on pastries and coffee. I didn't realize they also have a full food menu until after I ordered, so that will be for next time. I picked up the Dubai chocolate muffins, a pumpkin scone, and a blueberry white chocolate mocha pastry (which was incredible). For drinks, I tried the Sweet Lavender Espresso (hot) and the Cherry Love Bomb (iced). The Cherry Love Bomb was my favorite, refreshing, balanced, and just unique. Everything I tasted was delicious. Every pastry I sampled had great flavor and texture, and the drinks were thoughtful and fun without being overly sweet. While I was there, I noticed they offer a sourdough avocado toast, and the staff member who helped me described it so well that I already know I'll be returning specifically for that. If you're into unique and intentional flavor combinations, this is absolutely worth the stop, even if you're not already in the Sahuarita/Green Valley area. Everything I tried was genuinely enjoyable. Its a cute coffee place with great views actually! I'll definitely coming back!
