I invited a group of 6 to do the Blues Brunch this past Sunday and it was great. I always pace myself and snack the whole 3 hours. My favorite things were the Eggs Benedict, mussels and salmon from the grill. Can't wait to come back again. The food at the pool was just ok again. The fish tacos were a bit plain. I ordered the ancient grain bowl with fish but they added chicken. It was just ok. The Tropical Guava drink was really good. Lavender Splash and Strawberry Ranch water was just ok. Berry Margarita was awful. Alta tastes like bad alcohol. Prickly Pear was good. We also ordered drinks at the Lobby Bar. I really like the Pom and FLowers. I don't think I liked the Alta Vista.

Went there for their Holiday Tea. Service was EXCELLENT!!!! Servers were just AMAZING! They were also very patient with us. Two ppl from our group were last minute no-show and we were very embarrassed. But they were very nice about it. As for their food, they were delicious! Perfect selection of sandwiches and sweets! There were a lot we took some home!!! So why the 4 stars? Because on their website, the holiday tea is advertised as $45 but when we got to the hotel, the sign said $65. When we mentioned it, the manager just said "yeah, it looks like we still have the old information". Ok.....then maybe you should fix it? I went with a group and the person who organized this for us was a bit embarrassed because she had told us it was going to be $45. Was it worth $65? Yes, absolutely, in my opinion. The gorgeous view from the cafe, amazing service and the food makes the experience worth every penny. But it's not fair to find out about the price difference on-site. So be aware it is $65.

This review is for the Blues Brews and BBQ brunch held every Sunday. Still the best brunch in Tucson. Beautiful facility with indoor and outdoor seating BBQ buffet located outside. With food prep and cooking right behind the serving area. Seafood and dessert areas as you walk in, omelette station and breakfast foods located towards the back of the indoor seating arrows. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. Food choices abundant and tasty. Mimosas available inside and draft beer available in the bbq area. Take your time, savor and enjoy!

Love love love the blues, brews and bbq brunch at the Canyon Cafe at Loews Ventana Canyon. This is not your typical buffet! With free flowing mimosas, draft beer, a wide range of bbq items and my favorite sashimi, oysters and shrimp this is a Tucson must! Huge arrangement of desserts, live music and friendly staff makes you feel so comfortable. We always stay over 3 hours and never feel rushed to leave. **server, Monica, is the best! She is very knowledgeable about the brunch, keeps the mimosas flowing and is always present and friendly!

Oreo cheesecake, chocolate mousse, strawberry peanut butter tres leches cake, and creme brulee. Super delicious!

My boyfriend and I went to this brunch today and it was overall very enjoyable. One thing to consider, if you're a vegetarian it makes things a bit harder because nothing is labeled. We had to ask (he is a vegetarian, I am not) and while the chefs were friendly and helpful, it would be more efficient if the dishes had labels on them with allergen/special diet info on them. There also wasn't the biggest selection of vegetarian dishes, but what there was tasted very good. There is a made to order omelette station which is a nice touch. The desserts were a standout! I hope they have the strawberry peanut butter tres leches cake again. Overall we would go again for a special occasion. Lovely view of the Catalinas from the dining room, and bottomless mimosas are always a fun time.

They have a Myron Mixon smoker.

Blues, Brews, and BBQ was great. Definitely get a reservation before you go. It's great to see the place busy after the pandemic. The keg of the Dragoon pilsner died, but there was plenty of other brews to be had. The BBQ was over cooked, but good eating. I judge competition BBQ so it's a crazy standard. The prime rib was a beautiful color for medium rare and it was well prepared. The shrimp was good. The sushi rolls had too much rice and too little of fish. The grill station was awesome and grilled veggies/fruits too. It was awesome to see they had a Myron Mixon smoker. Definitely try this place out.

    Tamales & eggs! Sooo good!

Enjoyable afternoon lunch on the north patio at the Canyon Cafe at Loews resort . Great view of the mountains matched the tasty prime rib sandwich w sw touch and also 3 fish tacos. The servers were on point for beverages and food both thank you. Short uphill stroll to the 80ft waterfall on developed rock trail. ( FYI used the Arizona daily star diners club pass for a 2x1 one free entree , note this can also be used for the Sunday jazz buffet brunch which looks incredible , card offer ends 9-31 )

Had breakfast here during a staycation and food is delicious. The kitchen was overwhelmed and took 30 minutes to get the food, but the server and busboy (is there a more current term for this position? Sounds so awful.) Took great care of us. Expensive but the view outside is priceless.

This is now my number one brunch spot in Tucson, only the 2nd time I've gone to brunch in Tucson but that's neither here nor there lol... Let's talk about the food! Upon entering Canyon Cafe I walked pass a dessert table to get to the hostess...can I grab a plate while you direct me to my party??? The patio was littered with seating and my group was nestled in a corner. There was a little section where I'll say the "band" was set up but it was really just a guy with a guitar and a woman playing a drum but his voice was amazing, so different but I didn't catch their name. They let guest come up and jam with them as well. There was a hug BBQ pit set up and he had everything from grilled vegetables to pork belly to ribs (delicious!!), pulled pork was delectable and I didn't even have a bun. The Mac and cheese was scrumptious and so cheesy, the mashed potatoes salivating...I can go on. The dessert was hit or miss, the cookies were good, just so much variety. I appreciate the choices. Lastly, Brandon, our server was everything! I'll go back and request him. He was so attentive, nice and hilarious. We walked the property after our meal and he kept our to go boxes behind the bar as we were not guest and had only come for brunch. The property is beautiful and an easy walk, I did it barefoot because, well, heels... Not trying to roll an ankle.

My favorite is their cronut and the raspberry pop tart. Lastly and maybe most importantly, is their delicious drinks. I love the butterfly pea mimosa! Their butterfly pea palmer is great as well. YUMMY! Their service is always great. Attentive and friendly servers. The ambiance is lovely as well- very welcoming, nicely decorated and a bright open space. The patio is quite large and dog friendly. One of the best brunch spots around- we look forward to coming back.

I had previously been to their Campbell location, so this time I wanted to try something completely different for breakfast. I went with the Monte Cristo with a side of their potatoes, and wow this dish absolutely delivered. First, the bread. It's thick, almost like Texas toast, which gives the whole sandwich a perfect structure. Inside, it's stuffed with delicious ham and melty cheese, then battered and cooked into that classic Monte Cristo style. The outside is crispy, the inside is soft and gooey, and every bite is full of flavor. It's the kind of breakfast that makes you pause for a second after the first bite because you know you made the right choice. And the potatoes... how do you make something as simple as potatoes taste that good? They're small, perfectly cooked, and somehow packed with flavor in every bite. My friend ordered the Duck Confit Skillet and she was definitely not disappointed. Just the presentation alone makes it look incredible, but the flavors are where it really shines. It's made with braised duck, shallots, spinach, cabernet-braised cherries, and cherry goat cheese mousse. And let me tell you they did not hold back on that cheese mousse. It was a generous scoop and it paired perfectly with the dish. It also comes with the same delicious potatoes I had, which again, did not disappoint. She ordered her eggs over medium, and honestly that's exactly how I'd get them too. For drinks, she had an iced matcha latte and I stuck with their house coffee. She said the matcha was amazing, and my coffee was exactly what you want with brunch, warm, smooth, and reliable. The staff were super friendly and helpful, which always makes the experience better. The restaurant itself is spotless and really aesthetically pleasing. It's bright, welcoming, and kind of feels like you've stepped into your grandma's cozy cottage kitchen - warm, charming, and just really cute. Safe to say... I'll definitely be back.

When I read the reviews, people raved about how great this chickpea scramble was so I was looking forward. It really wasn't anything to write home about. Bland, dry. Neither of us had been there in quite a while and were looking forward to it. The restaurant is clean and spacious and we were seated right away and given menus. Eclectic is a perfect name. Everyone should be able to find something that appeals: sandwiches, egg dishes, salads, Mexican, and more. I'd been craving a Rueben and my friend decided to try the taco salad, which is on the seasonal menu. The waiter complimented my choice, saying the Rueben is the best thing on the menu and likely the best Rueben I've ever had, so I was excited. He offered sweet potato fries as an add-on, and I took the offer. Our food arrived soon. I am a bit late on the photos, sorry. A couple bites are gone from my sandwich and the top layer of my friend's salad was already gone. The salad was billed as chicken, beans, cheese, and a host of others things, packed into a generously-sized bowl. She was sure the meat was pork based on taste and color and asked the waiter, but he said it was chicken. My sandwich was plump with corned beef, cheese and sauerkraut. It had lots of tasty sauce but the bottom bread was so soggy that it disintegrated and was difficult to eat. I ended up separating the breads, scraped all the good stuff onto the crispy side of bread, and it was good. I was getting full, so just ate the insides of the second half, so didn't deal with the other soggy toast. The sweet potato fries were lightly crispy and should have been served hot.they did taste good and came with a dipping sauce I enjoyed. All in all, it was a nice lunch out, great company, but the food was nothing special. My sandwich, fries, her salad, two soft drinks came to $54 plus tip.
