At that time she even told us of a local baker (sacred dough co.) who had her set up in the corner selling local sourdough bread, both sweet and savory. Our experience there was very comforting because of the lounge couches they have as part of their indoor seating. I only got their pistachio cookie which was baked by the owner. First thing you notice is the art on the walls. It is all for sale by local artists. The prices for the art were reasonable, and I may have to go back and get the crown crane painting. We were able to sit and have our meeting without interruption and feel like we would have been welcome if we wanted to stay all day. The proprietor was friendly and helpful in helping us choose which of the delicious beverages we should try. It is such a welcome addition to the east side coffee scene.
