Tea time! Transit Tea is such a solid spot for all kinds of tea drinks. I love the variety of flavors and that they use homemade local syrups from Maya Tea. It's so cool that you can select your base and even choose a sparkling tea or a snow. Service has been super friendly when I've gone. The specials are so fun, with unique flavor combos I wouldn't have thought of. The sizes are a great value, and the shop is vibrantly painted. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's no indoor spot to hang out, but there are a few outdoor tables and even a drive-thru.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would love to see a Transit open on the north side!

My friend had regular black tea and the price was cheaper than most other places at $2.75. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I just wish they had a place to sit indoors then this place would really earn my five star review.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]
Annoyed that I haven't visited Transit Tea sooner! We used the drive-thru, which was quick and it gave us enough time to figure out what we wanted. We really liked the endless combinations but also the fact that we could choose a drink that someone had already created. We ended up going with the raga chai (hot) and bayou (carbonated). Both were incredibly delicious, Raga was a flavorful spicy golden milk style drink. Perfectly balanced. And bayou sort of reminded me of an Italian soda. So good. We will 100% be back again and again and again.
I went to a stand at the Summer Nights farmers market thing they had downtown and Transit Tea did not disappoint. The mint tea with luminous was absolutely refreshing for a little no caffeine moment! The staff was super nice, despite the rush we got our drink super quick. And with all the menu options- I will be going back to them!
I'm not usually in close proximity to this business, but wow, from now on anytime I'm slightly near here, I must make a stop. The iced vanilla matcha I got was so incredibly delicious. I instantly wished I had gotten a large. Just so creamy and perfect. I got my daughter a strawberry lemonade which she absolutely loved. I can also attest that it was so good. I got my husband an iced hibiscus arroyo. He said it was too spicy for him but I tried it and thought it was just right--just maybe not what he had been looking for. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I would say a downside of this place is that there's no interior to sit and enjoy your delicious drink. It's walk up or drive thru only.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was friendly and super fast. I can't wait to go back!
I love transit tea! This time around I tried a sparkling tea soda with white tea base and sugar free "Arroyo" flavor, which is their prickly pear. You can pick which tea you want (black, green, white, hibiscus, etc) and the type of drink- hot, cold, sparkling, or snow. I love the customizations and variety offered here. During the summer months we tend to get the soda and the snow cone options frequently, but during cooler months their chai teas and London fogs are great as well! I noticed that they have a new chai soda on the menu, I'll be back to try that.

Now, the descriptions are not that descriptive and make the drinks sound less interesting. Because of this, I personally found the menu was not very helpful. It feels like they just used words that sound nice but don't mean very much, does that make sense? Still nice, but my elderly in laws liked it less compared to prior years because they felt the menu was trying to be too cool. I wish I had a picture of the older menu so I could show you. I personally have to agree with them. Before, I would have given it 5/5 stars and taken guests here but now I don't know - it was a different experience. I personally tried the green tea base with the tiger cola which is Transit's classic cola. I also got to try the hibiscus base with Luminous, which is the blueberry lemon squeeze. The hibiscus based drink was more interesting but frankly the overwhelming flavor was hibiscus (no big deal, we love hibiscus) and not so much the other flavors.

I got my usual, rainforest black tea. They even have a drive thru with friendly, fast service!
I've had tea from here at several nonprofit fundraising events, but never actually stopped by the store. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Because the weather was relatively reasonable, we decided to give it a shot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]And what a delightful in the place they were so welcoming, and even offered to shaved ice to my Poodle.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'll definitely be back.

We always love our stops at Transit Tea. The service is wonderful and the space, well we're usually in and out but [[HIGHLIGHT]]the building is cute[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. (Only outdoor seating) You can find them at Markets around town, tune in for the information on that as it varies however they are consistently at the Rillito market on Sundays. We always get a matcha (for me) and two non caffeinated teas for my littles. read more

I have been using vouchers that were gifted to me to get complementary matcha drinks here and really enjoy them. I get the cold matcha with oat milk with pistachio flavor. The staff seems really friendly and kind. They also seem to offer a lot of flexibility to adjust drinks per customer preference and so far always seemed eager for me to be happy with my drink. They are very flexible with sweetness levels! I like that they use Le Sirop De Monin products for flavoring their drinks since they typically don't use artificial food coloring and instead usually contain fruit and vegetable based coloring. Transit Tea also has Bubbe's Bagels in a bread stick shape available. I don't typically get drinks outside of the house and generally prefer to prioritize going out for food vs drinks but I am glad my gift vouchers introduced me to Transit Tea as it's been really lovely and a great treat! Used to love it here but now you have to add cold foam to your matcha even tho the picture shows the cold foam. I also loved coming here because it was cheaper than brucha but now it's the same price! Drinks are still good but I think they should go back to how it was. Pretty sad :( read more

I finally stopped by Transit when running errands near by and I'm so happy I did. I orders my go tea, a London Fog (iced). There's tasted like fruity pebbles l, but not too sweet. The barista was super friendly and talked about her favorite bubbes bagel they sell in store. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a patio area with a walk up counter to order that is dog friendly, but I don't believe they have indoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The patio is nice this time of year.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They also have a drive thru. First time to Transit Tea. Great menu choices! The service was excellent. I wasn't sure about the different chai choices and they were greatly helpful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only negative is that this is only drive through or walk up. It would be nice to be able to sit and chat while enjoying our tea[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Obsessed. This is the drink shop to go to in Tucson. Been a couple of times and always impressed at the depth of flavor. The Carnival Tea is my favorite, so smooth and not overly sweet. I could drink this all day, all night, all week. These drinks just make your day more enjoyable. read more

My first time getting a drink from here. I like to support local businesses. I loved my sparkling tea I got and I went yesterday after work and was glad they had caffeine free options. I got the hibiscus tea and added "joy ride" flavor and made it sparkling. It was a 10/10 drink will be back to try something else. Loved using the drive through and the staff that helped me was very kind and helpful with what to get for my first time. Transit Tea is such a unique tea shop. There are so many options for how you want your tea. You can pick from regular tea or my favorite, tea soda. Then you get to pick the type of tea you want and then the flavors. Every time I go, I chose something different and am always pleasantly surprised by the flavors. The drive through and walk up window are both very speedy in getting your drinks out. The staff is very nice. Stop by and quench your thirst! read more
