Tea time! Transit Tea is such a solid spot for all kinds of tea drinks. I love the variety of flavors and that they use homemade local syrups from Maya Tea. It's so cool that you can select your base and even choose a sparkling tea or a snow. Service has been super friendly when I've gone. The specials are so fun, with unique flavor combos I wouldn't have thought of. The sizes are a great value, and the shop is vibrantly painted. There's no indoor spot to hang out, but there are a few outdoor tables and even a drive-thru. Would love to see a Transit open on the north side! read more

I have been using vouchers that were gifted to me to get complementary matcha drinks here and really enjoy them. I get the cold matcha with oat milk with pistachio flavor. The staff seems really friendly and kind. They also seem to offer a lot of flexibility to adjust drinks per customer preference and so far always seemed eager for me to be happy with my drink. They are very flexible with sweetness levels! I like that they use Le Sirop De Monin products for flavoring their drinks since they typically don't use artificial food coloring and instead usually contain fruit and vegetable based coloring. Transit Tea also has Bubbe's Bagels in a bread stick shape available. I don't typically get drinks outside of the house and generally prefer to prioritize going out for food vs drinks but I am glad my gift vouchers introduced me to Transit Tea as it's been really lovely and a great treat! Annoyed that I haven't visited Transit Tea sooner! We used the drive-thru, which was quick and it gave us enough time to figure out what we wanted. We really liked the endless combinations but also the fact that we could choose a drink that someone had already created. We ended up going with the raga chai (hot) and bayou (carbonated). Both were incredibly delicious, Raga was a flavorful spicy golden milk style drink. Perfectly balanced. And bayou sort of reminded me of an Italian soda. So good. Transit tea! Decent. Nice staff. I wish they had Internet for people. No indoors and no bathroom. I had a Matcha sugar-free vanilla latte. It wasn't hot enough for me, but I went ahead and asked for a glass of ice and poured it over myself, and it was still strong enough to enjoy. My friend had regular black tea and the price was cheaper than most other places at $2.75. I went to a stand at the Summer Nights farmers market thing they had downtown and Transit Tea did not disappoint. The mint tea with luminous was absolutely refreshing for a little no caffeine moment! I'm not usually in close proximity to this business, but wow, from now on anytime I'm slightly near here, I must make a stop. The iced vanilla matcha I got was so incredibly delicious. I instantly wished I had gotten a large. Just so creamy and perfect. I got my daughter a strawberry lemonade which she absolutely loved. I can also attest that it was so good. I got my husband an iced hibiscus arroyo. He said it was too spicy for him but I tried it and thought it was just right--just maybe not what he had been looking for. I love transit tea! This time around I tried a sparkling tea soda with white tea base and sugar free "Arroyo" flavor, which is their prickly pear. You can pick which tea you want (black, green, white, hibiscus, etc) and the type of drink- hot, cold, sparkling, or snow. I love the customizations and variety offered here. During the summer months we tend to get the soda and the snow cone options frequently, but during cooler months their chai teas and London fogs are great as well! When we came here a few years ago, the menu was completely different. At that time, we fell in love with Transit tea and came multiple times. Now, the descriptions are not that descriptive and make the drinks sound less interesting. Because of this, I personally found the menu was not very helpful. It feels like they just used words that sound nice but don't mean very much, does that make sense? Still nice, but my elderly in laws liked it less compared to prior years because they felt the menu was trying to be too cool. I wish I had a picture of the older menu so I could show you. I personally have to agree with them. Before, I would have given it 5/5 stars and taken guests here but now I don't know - it was a different experience. I personally tried the green tea base with the tiger cola which is Transit's classic cola. I also got to try the hibiscus base with Luminous, which is the blueberry lemon squeeze. The hibiscus based drink was more interesting but frankly the overwhelming flavor was hibiscus (no big deal, we love hibiscus) and not so much the other flavors. read more

I finally stopped by Transit when running errands near by and I'm so happy I did. I orders my go tea, a London Fog (iced). There's tasted like fruity pebbles l, but not too sweet. The barista was super friendly and talked about her favorite bubbes bagel they sell in store. They have a patio area with a walk up counter to order that is dog friendly, but I don't believe they have indoor seating. The patio is nice this time of year. They also have a drive thru. I love Transit Tea! Their tea blends are so refreshing with so many different options for add-ins etcetera. I've encountered them at local Farmers Markets and finally made it in person today for the first time. I had the most delicious matcha latte with sugar free vanilla. It seemed like they had a special sugar free flavoring blend (the staff explained the ingredients but I forgot the details), which didn't taste how the usual sugar free flavorings do with a bad after taste. I was disappointed they didn't have indoor seating as I had hoped to sit inside. They have the drive through and a large patio in the front with a walk up window. Transit Tea is awesome! I've had their tea at local markets and at their brick-and-mortar location. It's always wonderful. The blends are crafted perfectly and taste great. They're brewed exactly right. I love that they have a "snow" that is sooo refreshing in our hot Tucson spring and summer. You can get them with sugar or sugar free, which is amazing to have as an option, and it still tasted great. The employees are always helpful and kind. My only gripe is that their store has no indoor setting. It's just too hot here to be waiting outside for any amount of time for an order (for me). This definitely keeps me from going as frequently, I just don't want to go out into the heat. Bummer, but not dinging them a star for it. Just a heads up for others. read more
