I got an iced latte and it was really good. However, I usually like to add a syrup to my latte, but when I saw the syrups were made from gelato from next door, I just couldn't do it. Something about that just was not for me. Not that the gelato isn't good--it's delicious--but I don't necessarily want that in my coffee. Service was quick and the vibe is cool, but only limited outdoor seating. I will definitely come back. An employee at Lush actually recommended their shaken brown sugar espresso, so maybe I'll try that next time. Their lemonades also sound really good. Glad to have this as an option at La Encantada! read more

I have a few spots back home where I believe it's my fav coffee spots for my iced hazelnut latte! But after stopping by at this location in Arizona! This coffee spot can be added to my top list for coffee! I love the latte, some of the base is gelato or something. It brings the flavor to another level! Came here twice already and wanting more! The price is right too! Great location and coffee! The service is friendly and nice! Love the exterior design as well. Looks like Arizona mountain or a cave! Love the name "Haute" as well. I LOVE a good coffee shop, especially a local shop with a funky vibe, so naturally while wandering around La Encantada, I had to pop in to Haute for a drink. I was after something basic, my usual of a cold brew with some variety of flavor and almond milk. Sadly, they did not have any sugar free flavorings beyond matcha, which I was not interested in, so I went for half sweet salted caramel with almond milk. I went with a large cold brew and with the add-ins, it came to around $5, which is a solid price! Sadly, the iced coffee was not good. It was borderline sour, which means it had been hanging out for a bit too long. The flavoring and milk couldn't even mask it and I could only stomach about half of it before calling it a day. Additionally, service was "bleh". Both baristas I encountered were low energy and just odd vibes for a cute local coffee shop. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, as it sounds like their more complex house drinks are a bit more exciting. Now I know, and I wouldn't mind giving them a second go when I find myself back in the area. But until then, solid 2.5 for me. read more

The service was stellar. The coffee was not well balanced, even when stirred to incorporate the vanilla flavor. They use Frost Gelato to make their flavors, so I thought it would taste better. They serve their coffees with cute little red heart-shaped straws, which made me unreasonably happy. LOL! Their prices are reasonable and cheaper than other coffee shops in the valley. There is no indoor seating, only a couple outdoor tables, but the design inside is aesthetic! read more

zero stars if I could. Frost Gelato/Haute Coffee keeps their paper items such as paper towels, gelato cups and the coffee cups and lids, spoons and sample sticks, napkins etc in the employee restroom. Kept off of cameras obviously because they're kept in a functioning restroom. The Appalachian sounding employee Dakota working for the gelato shop licks the spoons while prepping gelato!! He is their prep cook who also creates the base mixtures for the coffees at Haute. The toilet in this restroom is just to the right of the image. read more

This is my morning stop. The owners also own frost so they use the gelato as the creamy base in their drinks. My current go to is a Large Americano with a vanilla based. Not overly sweet ....perfect. They are located in La Encantada near the Campbell entrance across from North. It's a walk up but no one seems to mind me pulling up and parking for a minute to grab my drinks. The pastries are delicious...Almond, Pistachio, Nutella, and White Chocolate croissants...worth the carbs and calories. The aesthetics are really cool. They just added a bench and have tables to sit if you want to sit for a while and get some work done. The vibes is fresh and elevated without a hint of pretentiousness. The employees are friendly and helpful. Parking is not an issue. I would highly recommend you check this coffee shop out. I go her almost daily and have only great things to say read more

Located in La Encatada shopping center, is Haute Coffee, a cute little walk up coffee shop next to a gelato shop. They have extremely fair pricing and yummy flavor options. All their flavors contain dairy because they're gelato based but SO delicious. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and it tasted just like ice cream in a cup (but not overly sweet) and look how cute their little heart shaped straws are! Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely stop back on my next trip to Tucson. read more

We drove quite a bit further out to where we were staying to check this coffee spot. It's located in a fancier shopping area of Tucson. Had a bit of trouble finding this place but the security guard on site was kind enough to actually walk and show us that it was up the stairs on the second level. It's more like a store front for on-the-go but there are a few small tables outside. The sweet baristas took the time to tell us about their drink menu. I ordered the iced matcha latte with oat with no sweetener. Being a huge matcha lover the flavor came out weak. My son ordered the Hazelnut latte in a gelato form and this was amazing. Never had anything like it!! It was like an ice cream latte. They are next to Frost Gelato and I am guessing they are their supplier for these creative gelato lattes. I had to try it out. It's an outside space with a small space inside. Service was extremely personable and knowledgeable about the products they sell. What makes them unique is that there flavors come from the amazing gelato place next door called Frost. I ordered the salted caramel to try it out. The flavor was really smooth and tasty. This is not year studying or office work type of coffee shop. This is definitely a hangout or break between shopping. read more

What a unique little coffee shop!! The weather was beautiful and they have some tables and chairs outside so I brought my book and did a little bit of reading. The service here is impeccable. The girls were so sweet, very patient, and very accommodating. They offered to change or add anything to my drink if it wasn't to my liking. They have nondairy options. I got the matcha latte and I love that they have an unsweetened option. Unfortunately the matcha wasn't that good in my opinion, but I had to give them full stars for how amazing the service and decor was. I will be back to try their coffee! They grind the beans fresh to order. Affordable and not too expensive at all. My large matcha latte with oat milk and honey was only $6, cheaper than Starbucks haha. Super cool aesthetic coffee shop located in an outdoor plaza with some stores and restaurants. Their flavored lattes are very interesting, I believe they used some sort of local ice cream or gelato incorporated into their coffees. Sweet, creamy and delicious coffee! We tried their vanilla latte and hazelnut latte, both really good! The barista/cashier took her time explaining the options to us and was super friendly. They also have red heart straws which were a cute and nice touch. Highly recommend checking this coffee shop out if you're in the area! read more

This modern, edgy little coffee shop at La Encantada is a great find. They open early at 6:30 AM, which is super convenient. One of the baristas mentioned that the shop is owned by the same person who owns Frost, and that their lattes are gelato based. I tried the latte macchiato during my visit and thought it was pretty good. They also told us it's authentic Italian coffee and you can really taste the difference in quality. read more

This is a small, chic spot in La Encantada right next to Frost Gelato that I finally was able to try. I ordered a chai latte, which was on the sweeter side but still decent, especially for the price. Next time I visit, I'll definitely be ordering a croissant since they looked delicious! While there are only a few tables, there was plenty of room to sit midday on a Sunday and enough seating nearby if they run out of room. The baristas were super kind and attentive and I'll definitely be back! read more

This coffee shop at La Encantada is more of a walk-up, order at the counter spot, with some outside seating. The baristas were very kind since it was my first time there and had questions about the menu. I ended up making me a declious matcha latte with lavender. The place smells great as you approach it. It's a shame I wasn't served. Walked out after waiting for 10 minutes with no one ahead of me. Wasn't assured someone would be with me or even greeted. I was basically invisible to them. As bad as I needed coffee, I wasn't about to be treated this way over it. read more

Coffee is fabulous but Gina is very rude. She announced hazelnut after I ordered hazelnut lavender and she went up to the other customers bad mouthing me. She must think she's a bully. I love this place and will return but hopefully I never get Gina again. read more

This is a super cute and aesthetic coffee shop. Probably the most aesthetic little coffee shop in tucson. Loved the vibes. The staff were so nice and welcoming and helpful. I tried the pistachio croissant and I was impressed. The patties tasted fresh and my matcha was delicious. Not too grassy and not too sweet tasting. The prices were not too bad either. I will definitely be coming back to try the regular latte and coffee and more pastries. read more

Such a great experience. Jazmine and Lillie were super friendly. My husband and I left in a better mood than we came in. The lattes were really good, and the Greek yogurt cherry danish was freshly made. Wish I snapped a pic. There's also a nice seating area with a mountain view, which made it even better. On the fence here because it could be so much more. If you're looking for a sit down work space type coffee shop this is not it. While it still offers a cool vibe this location is more outside than in. It's located inside of a mall and only offers a few outdoor tables and a walk up counter to order. Vibe is great and the wood type decor surrounding it looks awesome. Drinks offered are pretty basic, you won't find a huge menu here. I opted for an Americano because they offer no cold brew. I added a small bit of cream and vanilla. I was bummed when told they don't offer even sugar free vanilla...say what? My daughter got a vanilla chai iced and my son a lemonade because they don't do blended drinks either. My Americano was good, but a bit too much cream and wished it had a tad more vanilla. The chai was perfect as well as the lemonade. The fear with lemonade is sometimes it can be so sour and undrinkable. My son's only complaint was it had so much ice. Service was ok. My friend and I were excited to check out Haute Coffee, and while the place definitely has a great aesthetic, we were really let down by the service and the coffee. Unfortunately, the drinks weren't great, and we ended up tossing them. It's such a bummer because the space had a lot of potential, but the experience just didn't match up. read more

I got an iced lavender-vanilla latte and white chocolate croissant and my my husband got a lavender lemonade and cherry Greek-yogurt danish. The lavender lemonade was honestly probably the best I've ever had! My husband devoured his danish before I could get a picture or a bite. I'd never seen a white chocolate croissant before and it was delicious! The staff were very friendly! My only con would be they don't offer white mocha, but other than that, I give them 10/10! Definitely recommend! read more

Very cute place! We were new in town and were looking for a coffee place to do some work. We had a hard time finding it because we didn't realize it was inside the mall in the upper level. Staff was accommodating and friendly! Not really a place to be able to do work but we made it work. Prices were great! We ordered basic drinks like black coffee and lavender lemonade. read more

Coffee was delicious, but as I was leaving I observed one of the stakeholders yelling at an employee because the music was "too loud" then "too quiet". The stakeholder was so rude and disrespectful towards the employee, I never want to go back because I cannot support this kind of behavior. read more

Been to many, many coffee shops all over the US. This one is one of my favorites!! There isn't a ton of seating, which would be awesome to hang out (maybe they need to open another location ) but the coffee, the gelato cream, the heart shaped straws, the service, the aesthetic, are all AMAZING!!! read more

The only reason I keep coming back is the amble amount of tables and the atmosphere. They need to be a lot more down to earth to everybody and not be selective in how you treat people based on factors outside of their hands.

There are a lot of choices of flavors including tiramisu, salted caramel, limoncello, and many more. It's hard to decide when you see all the choices. The staff make you feel welcome and are patient while you make the tough decision. After being seated, someone came around with glasses of water and later, they came with a sample of raspberry carbonated water topped with lemon topping which was also delicious. I had unseasoned filet mignon once, I believe it was the omelette. I talked to the manager. Now I wasnt upset, didn't send it back, I just told them what I experienced and mused that I found it odd the cook forgot a simple thing like salt. The manager acknowledged my complaint and that was all; or at least I was fine. Nope, she came back with a to-go box of croissants topped with cream and berries as an apology. They were tremendous by the way. She didn't have to do that. The ambiance is it's only weak point, but even that is minor. Simple black is fine. It's modern feeling and doesn't stand out loudly. They have outdoor seating, which early in the morning is fine, but id avoid in the summer, which will likely mean you'll be waiting, depending on the time. Oh! I forgot to mention, they have very good drinks. They really are intentional about the blend of flavors, they have a little something for everyone. All in all, I cannot recommend this place enough. It's been a shining star amongst Tucson restaurants and I am grateful they exist. Even to how they organize their menu partly by flavor profiles shows they genuinely LOVE food. Pancakes, german pancakes, french toast, eggs benedict(s) monte cristo, omelets, croque madame, country chicken with biscuits and sausage gravy, chilaquiles con pollo, avocado toast, savory crepe, and even a breakfast pizza. Oh and they offer a few skillet options too-southwest, loaded baked potato, and sausage and peppers skillet. So many options!! I can't speak too much for lunch but I did see burgers on the menu. Not too helpful in that arena sorry. The eggs Benedict with ham was awesome. Side of potatoes with a bit of all seasoning and a side salad with awesome light dressing comes with it. The dutch baby was also great. A german pancake served savory with sausage. Huge portion. Come check this place out and make sure if you don't want to wait you call in advance when driving there and ask to get on their "wait list" you may not be able to get a reservation but you can do this. It had a nice finish and was very smooth, but I wouldn't have been able to guess it being flavored if I hadn't known. Both items were made from high quality matcha, so expect the steep price tag associated. Combined with the baristas being unable to differentiate between drink orders at the end of their bar, I wasn't really amazed given the reputation Brucha has. Maybe I didn't even receive my drink, and the above is all unfounded, but I won't be figuring that out anytime soon.
