This was the one place that I had to visit during my first trip to Tucson. I absolutely love Cafe con Leches! So, I had to try this place out. Cafe con Leche is located in the American Eat Co. food hall. The location opened promptly 8 am. An employee of Cafe con Leche greeted my co-workers and I with positive vibes. I immediately ordered a 16 oz Cafe con Leche, however the location was out of their house coffee. I was disappointed to say the least, but I was given multiple recommendations for other menu items to try. I ended up trying the Cubano Latte, which was flavorsome. It's definitely worth trying. The ambience of the location is chill. I love the colors and the display of the business. I absolutely plan to visit this location again the next time that I am in Tucson. I have to try the Cafe con Leche; it's a thing for me. read more

This adorable cafe is tucked inside American Eat Co. the barista was so friendly and provided some good reviews of the different coffees. I ended up going with the iced horchata latte with a matcha cold foam and it was so good! It almost had a Christmas in July feel. Definitely recommend trying it out if you're in the area. read more

Update... I had a Cubano latte here. Talk about yummy coffee with some flavor. They use half and half and ask if that's OK and they also put brown sugar in the coffee. It cost a little more than the regular latte about a dollar more, but it is so worth having the flavor. I just love having a coffee that actually tastes like a coffee. The gal that was working the counter was incredibly nice too! We sat out on the patio which was very nice and it was just the two of us so that was good. Come here for a nice, relaxing, indoor or outdoor experience. You won't regret having some coffee with flavor in it! read more

Came here for lunch and Saw this place in the corner and they were advertising their special, the Horchata Matcha latte. So I got that. Very good! flavorful. I was hoping I could replace the milk with oat milk, but it was premade. Staff was very friendly and nice and my drink was made pretty fast. They sell ice cream too. I would definitely go back and try a few more drinks! read more

Café con Leche is inside the American Eats Company, which is a whole separate review. This is a small coffee and boba shop that has been with them since they first opened and they've had different offerings over the years. It remains small and limited, but with some very tasty options. There are dairy free options (including, if I remember correctly, house made oat milk). This is nice because those of us who cannot have dairy have some great options. The prices are very reasonable and the taste is very fresh-no burnt tasting coffee so far here! I have not been disappointed with any of their offerings yet-to include their Mexican Mocha, Horchata Latte, Mazpan latte, London Fog Tea (tasty with their oat milk), and their Matcha Latte. There's always a wonderful place to sit in my opinion, (cozy overstuffed couches nearby, traditional dining room sitting) but remember there is a separate bar and other dining establishments nearby so it can be noisy. First timer and all I wanna say is, BEST. HORCHATA. LATTE. Hands down. Two simple ingredients, homemade horchata and 2 shots of expresso (for a medium). Nice finish to and dinner, especially in the summer heat. It's equally fun just to watch them make their swirl milkshake creations. We ordered the churro swirl but they were out of churros since it's the most popular. We also ordered a confetti rainbow and a chunky chocolate swirl shake. I believe the base ice cream is good ol Thifty ice cream. Lots of calories but refreshing in the heat. Yum yum! read more

My wife loved this coffee shop in a food court. We went here early in the morning, around 7 am, upon the recommendation of the front desk clerk at our motel. My wife always has to share that we never go to Starbucks anymore because there are too many pedophiles who stare at our grandchildren. She does not need to tell people that but the front desk clerk said this is also why SHE doesn't go to Starbucks. Anyway, we both ordered the horchata coffee; we were served some of the creamiest and perfectly sweet coffee on this planet. On our way back from biking we stopped back for some ice cream. Located inside the American Eat Co., Cafe Con Leche is a great spot to finish off dinner with a sweet treat such as pastry with coffee or a swirl milkshake! A great way to beat the heat in Tucson! The barista working the stand when we stopped by was lovely! She was friendly and gave us awesome recommendations. I love that they had Mexican-inspired flavors! The fiancé and I ended up getting the iced Horchata Latte and the Mexican Mocha. My Horchata was good; cinnamon-y and very creamy! The Mexican Mocha was good too. We ordered an horchata latte, and 2 cafe cubanos con leche. The barista was super kind. She was very knowledgeable. I requested if she could make one of the cubanos more sweet. She asked if I would be okay with adding caramel. She stayed it would balance the milk. All of our choices were very delicious. Not too sweet nor too milky. I just think Cafe Con Leche is pretty much mediocre. The coffee wasn't hot or special in any way, the horchata latte wasn't very much "horchata" in flavor, and it was relatively high in price. The employee didn't know what the various pastries were, so I couldn't really pair my coffee with a flavor that I was craving. She didn't really even want to talk to me when I asked any questions. It wasn't welcoming, it wasn't that good, and it wasn't well priced (and I'll spend extra for good quality without thinking twice). I wouldn't go back on my own, but if someone dragged me here, I'd probably order something, I guess. Meh. read more

Mmmmm this place has a great horchata latte. It was super cinnamon -y and was nicely frothed. The prices are a little high ( I think closer to 5$ for a drink), but not terribly high. It's located within a food Hall, so you can get something to eat with your coffee. I would return! read more

Anyway, you will not find this at this local shop. Beans roasted right is the key to success here. Oh, and speciality drinks all day folks. Cochata, yes! Fresh in house made horchata and coffee perfectly blended. Even better, the Mexican chocolate coffee which is made by hand! Yes, hand muddled cocoa. It's got a hint of heat and kiss of sweet! My absolute favorite. The chain that will not be named cannot compete with this local place. Cafe Con Leche has so much authentic character, from their menu design to the actual menu items themselves. I loved the "Carmelo" drink, which isn't nearly as sweet as you'd think! Loved it! I was passing through, for a business trip and it was time for a coffee boost. I had the Cafe Cubano on ice and it was delicious! The cinnamon flavors, the cream was very refreshing. I typically only drink espresso and thought I would be adventurous and try something like this. I ended up purchasing two extra shots of espresso for more of a coffee flavor but that was my personal choice. read more

Woohoo--I really enjoy this coffee place. It's in the wonderful new American Eat Co. market on South 4th, and is a great addition to town. They have Mexican-inspired coffees, and so far I've tried the cafe con leche (which was good), and an iced caramelo latte, which was excellent. There's also a living room type of space adjacent to the coffee shop and food court, which is excellent to hang in. Definitely worth coming by! read more

This is a nice little spot to hang out and get a drink. I am visiting from Ohio and I got a Café Con Leche which I haven't gotten in a very long time (since I was in Spain), mainly because many coffee shops don't have it so I was ecstatic to see this place had it. However, because this place is inside this market place with different food joints as well the music at Café Con Leche has separate music playing from the rest of the place so it was a lot of music playing, but other than that I would come back here. read more
