It's pretty big inside and there were quite a few people in there on their laptops, on dates, and just hanging out (on a late Wednesday morning!). Ordered their Baklava Latte (superb!). I was looking for a place to kill some time before my dinner and found this place and I am soo glad I did! I love their selections of pastries. Because I was going to dinner afterwards, I went for their baklava because it wasn't that big. Both the baklava and their tea (earl grey) were delicious! They have a large seating space and plenty of tables/chairs. Great spot to work, read or study. Music is played at a perfect volume. I will come back for sure to try other pastries! read more

I completely agree with Lizzy W's review. My husband and I used to come here every Saturday morning for several months last year before starting our day. The food and coffee/beverages were always delicious. The reason we stopped coming in was the grumpy older Middle Eastern guy behind the counter who made the drinks. We are pretty sure he was the owner, because he was always there. For months when we went in, he never once acknowledged us coming in our leaving. We noticed he was like this with other customers as well. He also seemed short tempered with the staff on several occasions. We finally decided one morning that we weren't coming back when my husband went up to get the drinks and thanked this guy, and never received a response back. If you don't feel like being friendly to customers who keep you in business, it's time to sell it to someone who does care. We now support several other local coffee houses who value our business. read more

Stopped in here on Wednesday while meeting with a friend. It has a very cute ambience with one room, a seemingly desert theme and the other room more of a greenery feel I can't really explain. They have a lot of sweet treats to choose from which is really cool and a great array of drinks as well. They also have a summer menu with lots of fun drinks to try. After asking about a few of the summer specials, I ordered the berry blast drink but upon getting it, it was pretty tart to me, and also full of seeds, which I did not realize it had. When I spoke to the cashier, she was accepting and allowed me to get a different drink, which I really appreciated. I also got what she said was her favorite sandwich, the number one. It had grilled chicken and pepper jack cheese, on a flatbread. It was pretty tasty, and did have a bit of spice! My daughter and I came here on a very busy Saturday and the place was packed but overall good experience! I tried the hot matcha latte for first time and it was really good. The portion sizes for lattes are nice and big. We also tried the pie/ cake one was pistachios one was chocolate and it was also very good. The vibes were great but it was quiet as there was a lot of people studying. I think it's a great place to work remote or study because these were the vibes here. Space has an industrial feel with lots of metal and wood elements with cool comic graphics on the wall. I couldn't find the sky blue drink on the menu and asked the barista if they were still serving it. I was excited when he said that he could make it. My Matcha London Fog latte is one of the most unusual lattes I have ever tasted. It's hard to describe. I detect the London Fog more than the matcha. It reminds me of a lavender latte. I loved and enjoyed every sip of it. My companions enjoyed their drinks (Iced Mocha and Iced Chocolate Biscotti) as well. Service is friendly. read more

The customer in front of me ordered an iced americano and they made it hot; he didn't say anything because we waited nearly a half hour for our drinks. Maybe they're short staffed today? I got a marichino which is apparently the signature drink here. It's a pump of chocolate or caramel, 2 shots of espresso, and a thin layer of foam. It was a unique and kinda funny experience. Upon entering the shop, we were met with silence. Every seat was taken by someone plugging away on their laptop. Felt like we entered a library. Music had been silenced and even the barista who took our order was practically whispering. The place seemed to cater to students or folks needing a quiet work space. We had Crave on our radar for the week prior to arriving in Tucson - we had read multiple articles that they made good Turkish coffee here, so we were super stoked to stop by and give it a try. However, it sounds like they're not making it anymore (or at least not the day we went), so that was a big disappointment. So if you're going there after reading one of the articles, I'd give them a call before going. We still got drinks here, and they were pretty good! They did a solid chai tea latte, and their blue matcha was pretty good. Their specials menu has some unique drinks on it (like the blue matcha) that looked like they'd be fun to try. They also have some good pastry options here. The shop is pretty big, so plenty of space to meet with friends, enjoy your coffee solo, or work. What I love most about Crave as opposed to other similar coffee shops in Tucson, is that they have a punch card and once you buy ten drinks you get one for free! The ambiance is both amazing for getting some work done alone or catching up with friends. They always have the best music on queue, or perhaps it just happens to be all the music I listen to... I have had really good and really mediocre drinks, it mainly depends on the barista. The service is quite speedy and friendliness varies as it does at any cafe.
