I've been a fan of Decibel for a number of years. We stopped by for a coffee and a cookie. Their chocolate chip cookie is as good as always. They also have a variety of other pastries to choose from. The menu has a lot of options to choose from ranging from traditional coffee/tea veeraves, to seasonal specials, and specialty drinks. The staff was not very friendly, I found it kind of off-putting. I had a Hibiscus Arnold Palmer that was good. Tea was fresh and tart and strong, perfectly refreshing. It was the end of the night so the girl working wasn't the most personable, but I give grace for the aforementioned reason. I'll definitely be back to try other tea based drinks. read more

Decibel is one of my favorite places to purchase coffee grounds, and a true west side gem. Located in the MSA Annex, this is a great spot for classic and creative coffee beverages and pastries. They also have ice cream for those hot days, perfect for an affogato! They sell a variety of whole bean coffees (Guatemala, Costa Rica etc origins) and they will also grind the beans to your preference if you ask. I like that when you purchase a bag of beans, you get a free drip coffee or cold brew- awesome perk for me! The cold brew is bright, light, and perfect with a splash of oat milk. There is seating directly in front of the shop, or you can wander around and find plenty of seating throughout the annex. read more

Came out on a Saturday morning and it was bustling! Nestled inside the compound, there's plenty of open seating since businesses are closed. Coming from out of town, the specialties were unique and appealing although the lattes seemed to dilute quickly being outdoors so taste was a bit lackluster. What I enjoyed the most was the affogato - ice cream is made in house and is quite nice on its own but the espresso paired with it complimented it very well. Presentation could use some work to match the quality but that's just my opinion! read more

I came here early morning and the staff was super friendly. Great customer service. My latte was delicious I also tried the chia pudding and it's one of the best I've had. I also liked how cute their open space is. It's so inviting and full of plants and large windows which let natural light come in. Stopped by Decibel today to grab a coffee in our way out of the annex and we were not disappointed! The atmosphere was great, the baristas were dancing and making conversation and out drinks/food were delicious! I had an iced lavender oatmilk latte and it was just right! And that is what we did 3 mornings in a row while visiting Tucson from New Jersey. I was first introduced to the Golden Chai by a Yelper in L.A. Since then I have always been on the lookout for this drink. I was so excited to see it on the menu. Made with Chai Tea spices, turmeric, natural honey, cardamom, cinnamon and cloves, I love the spicy kick it gives you at the back of the throat. It also has lots of health benefits so all the more reason to order this yummy latte. And that's not the best part, their sweet and savory scones are frickin yummy. Took me one second to choose their Garden Veggie Cream Cheese one. Me: baby, do you want any scones? Son: no, just coffee for me. He ended up eating 3/4 of the scone. But that's okay because I kept getting it every time I came back. Also got to try their Blueberry Earl Grey scone and it was loaded with blueberries. Just the way I like it. Lots of cool outdoor seating. I dig the industrial decor. There are a few eating joints around as well but they seem to open much later in the day. Friendly service. read more

How have I not reviewed my most beloved and frequented coffee spot?! I drive by every morning during the school year and we frequently stop. Even on a busy morning to school drop offs, we always find a parking spot and never have a line wait. Frequently in and out in less time than a drive thru chain coffee place. You can't go wrong with anything. It's just damn good coffee. All of the pasties we have ordered have been delicious as well. Also, the outdoor space at the Annex is not to be beat. I admittedly am not a huge coffee person, but that hasn't stopped me from coming here. They have some great non-coffee options here, my personal favorites being their matcha and their lemonades. I definitely recommend trying one of their scones as well, as they are one of a kind and absolutely delicious. Very good coffee. I had a hot one and later on came back for an iced americano. Smooth espresso pulls and darker roast with no acidic taste. I also had a prickly pear iced tea which was delicious. I once in a while like to try new coffee spots, but have my regular ones I like to visit often, (mostly for proximity) but, even those lack consistency, so when i drive further from home for something new and it's good, I like to keep coming back for more.. ... Decibel is just that, each time I've come. It's one of the only places in town, that I've managed to have a consistently good drink - no matter what it is. I most recently tried an iced dirty chai, and was honestly so impressed.. it's so much what I like with flavor/strength of flavor, and sweetness and added espresso was the perfect balance, not overwhelming nor lacking flavor.. I come for lattes, (hot/iced) and those are always fantastic. The brewed teas are great, too. I love that they offer to top off with more water if needed, or adjust things drinks according person-to-person.. it's this service, the great outdoor space, not to mention menu, that is what makes me eager to support, and enjoy this local business, and often. read more

I always choose decaf and non-dairy options, and I haven't been disappointed here. The decaf vanilla latte with oat milk was creamy, not too sweet, and no bitter aftertaste. I also loved their Golden Chai with a solid, but not overpowering taste of turmeric. For treats, I split a salted chocolate chunk cookie with my partner.
