The coffee beans are rather expensive but they have good stuff. The service here was fantastic today. The cafe is very cute, there is some indoor and outdoor seating
Presta Coffee Roasters is a very cool, modern spot with a bike-inspired theme and a minimalist, industrial aesthetic. It doesn't look like a traditional coffee shop from the outside -- you walk around a wall to get in -- but once you're inside, the space feels intentional and curated. There's some indoor seating with small couches and desks, and I brought my laptop, though I went too close to closing to get much work done. They also have outdoor seating with umbrellas, which is comfortable in the winter, though it would probably be warm in the summer since it's not fully covered. The coffee is very good and definitely leans into the craft-coffee vibe. Drinks come in one size, and when I once asked for whipped cream, they let me know they don't carry it -- which actually made me laugh because it fits the whole minimalist, elevated style of the place. It's just that kind of spot. Prices are a bit higher than typical coffee shops, but the quality and aesthetic reflect that. If you like modern design, curated spaces, and excellent coffee, Presta is a great stop.
It was my first time to Tucson and I wanted to try out one of their top coffeeshops. I was not disappointed! The ambiance was super modern. There are some couches inside that make a comfy seat (if you can snag one. The service was very helpful. My cappuccino was done perfectly, from the latte art to the flavor. The flavor was well balanced and I really enjoyed it!
I stopped by to pick up a couple of the cute Presta coffee cups for a Christmas present. They were very helpful and I added a couple of boxes of the instant coffee too. The shop is so inviting and popular. Parking is no problem. Great coffee shop.
Great mocha - perfect balance of sweet chocolate and coffee without being overpowering! The space is gorgeous too, perfect to catch up with a friend or get some work done
Priority #1 when traveling is find a good, local coffee shop. I based this find off of Yelp reviews and I'm glad I listened. This location had such a cool, laid back vibe. Every barista I met was personal, friendly, and willing to help me go "off menu" for my order. I went with my standard iced Oatmilk latte with a quad shot. My local offers agave and they'll shake it for me. Unfortunately, they didn't offer either but thankfully honey is always a great substitute. I visited two locations to see if they were consistent in their coffee and customer service and I'm pleased to say both were great no matter what location. If I'm ever in Tucson again, I won't hesitate to come back again. Great job Presta! PS - I never waited more than 5 minutes.
I think I might be in love with Presta. I'm a big craft coffee girl, and after years of getting spoiled by some amazing cafes, I'm rarely shocked by an espresso drink flavor when trying new spots. In comes the Silk Road, a seasonal cappuccino made with red miso and five spice. What a combo!! The flavors blended together so seamlessly, somehow not overpowering one. Even the Basic Witch, their version of a PSL, is quite elevated and delicious. This location is also next to an architecture firm, so it's a pretty cool building. Excited to go back and try their classic menu or future specials!
This is a chill coffee shop, that is great for catching up with friends. Good amount of seating both outdoors and indoors. When we came on a Saturday morning, there was a decent size line to get coffee, we waited approximately 10-15 minutes. They have unique drinks on their seasonal menu, I ordered a peach syrup infused latte and we also got a strawberry matcha croissant. The latte was pretty good although I didn't really taste much of a peach flavor. My fiance ordered a lavender latte and it tasted like a normal latte without lavender. Otherwise service was good and we got our coffees pretty quickly. We enjoyed the industrial modern interior with a bit of a cozy feel. Lots of good lighting as they keep the side door open.
I tried Presta for the first time and ordered the honey cinnamon latte. The coffee was good, not being overly sweet but still having enough flavor to make it distinct. This location is fairly quaint with a smaller inside that contains a nostalgic atmosphere. The staff was very attentive and I would definitely go back.
This place is awesome! Good vibes, quiet place with the worlds cheeriest baristas! You walk through that door and BAM! You feel like you just walked into your best friends place! They always have really interesting coffee specials. Even if they sound out of your league, try them. You won't regret it! They also have Hannah's @houldensriseabove treat here! Win win!
Presta offers the type of coffee and aesthetic you'd expect in a larger city. Roasted in small batches their coffee always has a good flavor and drinks are made well. Their team is friendly and fast, while the vibe of their coffee shop makes it a great place to work or hang out. You can always count on there being some great vinyl spinning.

Best strawberry latte I've ever had in my LIFE! Came here with my partner for a weekend getaway to Tucson - stopped here as a little pit stop before we moved onto our next stop and I gotta say I was pleasantly surprised. *Will add; this is not our first time coming to presta in our time down here but MAN will it not be our last. They've improved the quality of their beans, drinks and pastries since the last time here and it's a game changer. Definitely stop by and have a great experience, you won't regret it. read more
Went here to do some remote work with a friend. Had a hard time finding it since the sign is extremely small, and difficult to read while driving down 1st. For some reason, I think it's the building builder sign that is larger. Anyway, they have a small menu, and not much for those who aren't big coffee drinkers. Also very limited on food.. maybe a few pastries. There were small tables, and a couch seating. But this place has fans clearly, because it was pretty consistent with customers. I got a chai drink that I flavored with lavender I think it was (or maybe it was pistachio, I can't remember). Either way it was light, and good. The building gave modern and European or something, I don't know. It was cool for a remote work. read more
Always a great stop in whether I'm staying longer or just a quick drop by. Coffees wonderful, service is great, space is a vibe and has variety of seating, good for work but perhaps bring a headphone and double check internet cause sometimes it's busy or needs a reset. Good way to start the day! Bathrooms, WiFi and parking space for customers read more

I love this coffee shop and this whole little area. It's right near breakfast and a bakery and a shop. Employees are friendly and knowledgeable with recommendations and flavor combinations. I've never had a bad coffee here, and they even find a way to make a PSL into a real coffee instead of the Starbucks version. (Not that we don't all love starbs) This is a more traditional coffee shop for those who really care about quality read more

Cool place, but not a lot of seats or parking. 1st time here. The coffee was good and well priced. The service was fast and friendly. The place is minimal and it feels a little industrial. Presta is one of multiple good coffee shops that are locally owned. read more

Presta has 3 locations and each location is very unique. I will always have love for the one at the Mercado, the one on grant is great space and the one on 9th has a beautiful calm patio. I love that they always have seasonal drinks! My go-to is the Honey Cinnamon latte -hot. Staff here (all locations) is always very kind. Love ya Presta! read more

Legit baristas here! Cappuccino done right. Strong, bold, full of flavor, with a nice frothy finish. The architecture of this place is insane! A hidden gem. The entrance is so cool and private. A lovely patio and a walk way with a feel as if you are over water or a different terrain. The inside is concrete floors, modern, open garage door on the side for a beautiful breeze. A couch and some plush leather seats, standing area, community table. A lot of options. People are really friendly here. Wonderful vibe. read more

A great staple in Tucson. All of their locations are delicious and they have unique seasonal coffee options that I love to try. Todays was an orange almond latte and was SOO good. The folks who work here are super friendly and we're happy to recommend drink options. This spot in particular has inside and outdoor seating. The patio is cute with lots of options. Inside there's a big table and lots of smaller seating options- so many places to sit but not a lot of work stations that fit a laptop, outside of the main table. Love coming here! read more
Despite living in Phoenix, this is my second trip to Presta on 1st Ave in about a month. While the main reason is to pick up Houlden's Rise Above's vegan pastries, the coffee is worth the trip too! Both visits I had a lovely iced coffee with oat milk that perfectly hit the spot. Service is beyond great, and the atmosphere is chill and unpretentious. It's a nice, cool escape. read more
This is a nice place to pop in during some down time! I'm a fan of the honey cinnamon latte - well balanced and not too sweet. I've also tried the iced chai, but the lattes are definitely my favorite. While the menu is small, it still contains the classics for a productive day. As for the atmosphere, they have nailed the modern, minimalistic aesthetic. The interior has a soothing neutral color palette and natural light. However, the seating is somewhat uncomfortable (mostly stools) and there are few charging outlets (mostly only along the edges of the room which are quickly occupied spaces). And it can get a bit warm, especially if the side door is propped open on a hot day. It's not unbearable, but you may find yourself getting overheated after awhile. So I'd recommend this spot for grabbing a quick coffee break or for chatting with a friend. The atmosphere is trendy but the minimal outlets and seating makes it less than ideal for extended study sessions. Nevertheless, it is still a good spot with nice drinks and friendly service! read more

Very thankful for the friendly baristas at Presta who were open thanksgiving and created magical cups of lattes that not only woke us up but put a extra smile on us. This is my favorite location as the lattes here are potent and the overall vibe is more cozy. Had the pumpkin spice latte for the second time at at Presta and this time at this location it was perfect fall in a cup. read more

Fantastic shop with great brews coming out of their roaster. We loved our barista and she did some beautiful crema art. I had a cortada. Not everyone makes this special drink but our barista did it to perfection. This location is a bit hard to find, since they share space with a design firm. Their name is hard to see from the street. We are definite fans of Presta and we like their connection to biking. read more

Listen... by far TUCSONS BEST CUP OF COFFEE. Roast is delicious and froth is so creamy and airy & flavored richly. I get my latte a little on the sweet side & they know exactly how to balance the sweetness without overdoing it. The barista knows exactly what she's doing & is so friendly and accommodating. Only complaint? The cups aren't bigger lol I get usually two a day. Btw I live in marana & always make the trip daily just because of the coffee. If you're a coffee snob like I am , you know a good balanced cup of coffee is hard to come by. read more

Food: I had a matcha latte, it was very good. They ask you if you'd like a flavour or want it sweetened which I liked a lot, as I usually like the drinks unsweetened. Service: very friendly Ambiance: its located in the Mercado and has a cute vibe. Would be a great place to hang out read more

Dig coming into this place. The coffee is great, staff is even better. Since I fell down the rabbit hole of pour-over coffee a few years back, the coolest part for me is their recommendations for beans. I'm extracting strawberry, chocolate, apple, and flavors that have no words. The staff here have helped me level up my coffee adventures for sure! read more

Great local coffee shop and roaster! During COVID times, they are only offering drinks to go if you visit the shop - the layout feels very safe with social distancing spots marked for waiting in line and hand sanitizer at the register. The coffee is delicious - my husband's favorite for drip coffee in the area! They offer seasonal drinks; currently, they have the London fog on the menu which includes their house-made lavender simple syrup and so comfy and good on a cold (Tucson) winter day. The honey lavender latte is great too for a caffeine fix if you're in the mood for an espresso drink. They also feature vegan pastries from a local baker; I don't have much experience with vegan pastries but I would have never known they were vegan if I hadn't been told! The jalapeño cheese turnover was so good (we warmed it up at home); the morning bun with cocoa nibs was lightly sweet; and the best pastry we've had was the matcha blueberry scone - whole blueberries in the scone and matcha icing on top. Presta Coffee is definitely a place to stop if you're looking for good quality coffee and pastries! read more
