I typically order an iced latte, which is always phenomenal. The service very much gives Olive Garden (when you're here, you're family), which makes me like coming back here in addition to their awesome coffee. They've also got various sweet treats depending on the time of day. The one thing that I wish this place had more of was seating. With the way the store is set up, there's a paradox between wanting to invite you in but not enough room to adequately do so. When it's not triple digits outside, the seating outside is nice and doesn't make you feel like you're sitting on top of the barista. But, once again, there's not a whole lot of it. Passing through from LA County where we think everything is better, but I have never came across a coffee shop with the feeling of actually feeling blessed, yes blessed with a delicious iced vanilla latte and the house drip, but most importantly with good service, a wonderful conversation, pleasant customers sitting in the quaint location, kind and engaging conversation! Also staff that went above and beyond to share about the various take home options as well as a little back tour and explanation of some of the beans they roast there! Armando was the most genuine person, our car happened to run into some issues as we were hitting the road he gave us guidance for what we needed and well I recommend it to anyone in this area, they give back from their earnings and also have this beautiful engaging prayer box in the shop that added the bit of magic you'd expect! I had a cold-brew Metamorphoo (milk chocolate, cherry, mango) which is one of their popular beans. I only got the 8 oz, and one sip had me wishing I got a bigger size. I took my time between sips, savoring each one. Metamorphoo is jam-packed with flavor. I could taste the fruity infusions, but the chocolate definitely dominated the entire experience. I wanted to try a different coffee place and decided to start here. It was 13 miles out of my way but once I set my mind to doing something I don't deter from it. This place is west on grant road almost where it meets the freeway. It is in a strip mall and pretty much stands alone at the East end. I walked in and found it to be small and cozy. A small resting area with chairs and couch. It was clean and the coffee counter was organized and advertised their brand and ground coffee bags. Their was one employee behind the counter eager to serve and help. I asked for a cold coffee and gave the freedom to make me a flavor she would drink herself. I received a cold Caramel flavored espresso. It had a nice freshly roasted flavor, burnt smokey taste, and it was followed with the caramel flavoring. I think this is a nice neighborhood coffee place to stop in and get a coffee and go on with your day. This was my first time here, and I definitely took advantage of my visit. I bought a dirty chai, science coffee, two teas, and three bags of coffee beans! Well worth! I ended spending about a good half hour there just speaking to Aleen. She took time to show me how the science coffee works, explained the different types of beans, and even spoke about how they too enjoy giving back to the community. With that being said, she mentioned that a percentage of the overall retail sale actually goes to different nonprofit organization and that this months choice of donation is going to the Children's Miracle Network. The location is small, cozy and welcoming. I understand these trying times can be difficult, however as a customer you have the right to wear a mask or just politely ask them to throw one on. Each to their own. However, mask or no mask the coffee is phenomenal. It is right by the freeway, so I would highly recommend grabbing a coffee and enjoying some good company if you have a moment to spare. I visited Blessed Grounds for the first time today and had a great experience! I've been making a point of visiting all of the local Tucson coffee roasters and I was excited to give this one a try. I had the pleasure of learning first-hand about their commitment to the farmers who grow their beans as well the Tucson community. The manager was very friendly and more than happy to tell me about their mission and help me pick out some coffee beans. The iced mocha was delicious, but the real star was the whole bean coffee I bought. When I got home I couldn't help but immediately make a pour-over with the new beans, and it turned out delicious! No masks. Enclosed space. No sign on the door letting me know they don't wear masks (like some businesses in Tombstone had when I went during Doc Holidays who warned/informed me that they didn't wear/allow masks). This happened about a week and a half ago. Shocking. It's certainly not the review I hoped to write when my husband and I decided to skip the Dunkin drive thru next door in favor of supporting a local coffee place we hadn't tried. I was so stunned when I stepped thru the door into this small coffee joint & was greeted by two people, a woman and man. Neither was wearing a mask. The front door was closed. The space is uncomfortably tight inside. Damn, after doing everything I have since this Covid has begun (I have three very high risk people I love in my household) I had not felt so unexpectedly exposed! I can't even comment on the coffee because I can't get past the no mask scenario. I did inquire if the two were owners (they were) because it occurred to me these were two rule breaking employees. But, no. If we weren't in the midst of a growing pandemic could be a different experience, but I'll never find out because this left me with a very bad taste, worse than the bitterest cup of coffee. read more

Super cool place. Although not huge or super fancy inside, the concept is simple: choose your origin (there were maybe 6 beans to choose from), and choose your brewing method. I got a french press Honduran which was great. An added bonus is they have some single origin decaf which tastes fantastic. It can be really hard to find decaf that rivals caffeinated coffee, this one does. The owner is a super nice guy. I'll be back next time I'm in Tucson for sure. read more

They are a fantastic coffee shop near Mineral City which Yelp helped me find when I visited for the big Gem and Mineral expo. I took a little walk around the corner to find the best handcrafted espresso beverage and pastries! I got a cherry turnover and raspberry filled handmade 'pop-tart' pastry my first visit and an iced americano and iced oat milk latte through two visits. Their espresso drinks are so balanced, both rich and smooth, and don't need any sugar to taste good. Their pastries are fresh and delicious, and paired really nicely with their beverages. I also got some beans (Hodos) to bring home after hearing their barista talk about the specialty grade quality beans they roast there! Also- they're beans you can feel good about, Blessed Grounds work directly with the producers to help support the farming communities they come from. So wholesome. They regularly donate some of their profits to other causes too. Already looking forward to my next visit to Tucson to visit this little coffee sanctuary again. They will not only take the time to explain their menu but they'll also introduce their sources and their choice to do direct buying with the farmers in order to increase the farmer's profits. If this isn't reason enough to choose to get your coffee fix here, they will also provide samples to make sure you get something that fits your taste. When I was leaving happy with the experience, the barista wanted me to try my drink before I left to ensure I liked it. That's an experience almost unheard of in a corporate coffee settings.
