    Mole Dulce Latte
    Ali B.

Was only in Tuscon for a day and a half so I wanted to make sure I picked the best of the best coffee shops to try! This one was so cool! I absolutely love the vibes, very rustic and love the brick walls. They roast beans and make their own syrups which I LOVE. They have a ton of specialty drinks which made it hard to choose! I got the mole Dulce latte and my husband got a vanilla latte quad shot. Pretty latte art on them! Baristas were super nice, great service! Pricing was as expected. Would come here again!

Gotta love a spot that supports the local creatives scene.

My quest for the perfect espresso continues, and brings me to Tucson. Well, a soccer tournament brought me here, so I took advantage and decided to give some local spots a try. This was my first stop and it made a great impression. Arrived early on a Friday (around 8am). The streets were pretty quiet, plenty of metered parking, and there were a few customers. The space is exactly my vibe... Open, rustic & quirky. Plenty of seating indoor and out. It's definitely a locals spot with lots of fliers and the like to support local artists & happenings. The staff was reserved yet friendly and professional. The espresso came with sparkling (as it should). The bitterness was on point and the temperature was perfect. I decided to get an almond croissant, for research purposes of course. They did not need to warm the croissant (as most places do) as it was moist and flaky. I imagine it wS delivered that morning. If I was a local, this would definitely be my spot.

Lots of parking and strong coffee!! I walked up in the middle of the day and the cashier barista was super polite and quickly asked how he could help. I ordered a quad shot, iced vanilla coffee.

Stopped in here early one Sunday morning on my way to Texas. Loved the location close to the freeway. I got a drip coffee, which was very good. Quick and easy service and the cashier was friendly. I love supporting small local businesses on my travels. Would absolutely recommend whether you're passing by or staying a while! The atmosphere seemed lovely to sit and stay and chat with friends.

Such a great coffee shop! The staff is very nice and the coffee is delicious. They also have good free wifi so it makes it a great spot to study or work at.

Great service ! Had the iced golden latte , so good . Found vegan bakery items & loved the vibe here.

    Exquisite breve latte.

The bomb! We are coffee snobs, and Exo is THE best we've found in Tucson. Perfect breve lattes - outstanding crema & latte art, and beautifully strong but balanced flavor. Top notch. Fun retro ambience, staff that has real expertise and high standards - you can tell they care.

Absolutely love this place and it's been one of my top local businesses since living in Tucson. For many reasons. I always have a great experience and I recently came by because in our home we live the Devils Claw beans the most.

This place was busy for a reason! From the up front bakery case to the coffee roaster in the back it has character and delicious drinks and eats. We were just traveling through but have Exo on our list to come back to when in town. Get the Chiltepin Cold Brew. No regrets with that or the raspberry pastry!

Great Cortado and corn muffin! Quick and everything was yummy. It's the cutest little spot downtown.

This was my first time at this Exo location and it didn't disappoint! The outdoor patio is SO cute and I can't wait to come back in the cooler weather. The indoor was luckily just as cute. It was a sweet little place to sit, drink a delicious matcha latte, and read my book. The staff was friendly too! I'll definitely be back.

Good coffee, nice service! The only thing I'd say is that, while the industrial vibes of the inside are fun, there isn't a ton of indoor seating.

This place is awesome! I love the vibe here! It's quiet here enough where you can do work! Friendly staff and amazing tasting espresso! Tip: there is street parking around the coffee shop. On weekends it's free!

The indoor seating area is very cramped. There was also an unpleasant smell. The coffee options were uninspiring.

It doesn't look like a traditional coffee shop from the outside -- you walk around a wall to get in -- but once you're inside, the space feels intentional and curated. There's some indoor seating with small couches and desks, and I brought my laptop, though I went too close to closing to get much work done. They also have outdoor seating with umbrellas, which is comfortable in the winter, though it would probably be warm in the summer since it's not fully covered. The coffee is very good and definitely leans into the craft-coffee vibe. Drinks come in one size, and when I once asked for whipped cream, they let me know they don't carry it -- which actually made me laugh because it fits the whole minimalist, elevated style of the place. It's just that kind of spot. Prices are a bit higher than typical coffee shops, but the quality and aesthetic reflect that. If you like modern design, curated spaces, and excellent coffee, Presta is a great stop.

If Tucson has a heartbeat, part of it lives inside Talega Coffee Roasters…read more I used to live next door, and honestly, they were the only thing keeping me in Armory Park as long as I stayed. When I finally moved, I thought the hardest part would be adding 30 minutes to my commute. It wasn't. It was losing that daily routine of walking into a place that feels so real and personal. Talega isn't just a coffee shop. It feels intimate in a way that's hard to find now. You can tell Tyler & Rene actually care. Not just about the coffee, but about the people who come in and the community around them. Nothing about it feels transactional. You're remembered, conversations matter, and it feels grounded in something genuine. Their seasonal drinks are what really set them apart. They are not cheap grabs for attention or copies of whatever is trending online. The ideas feel inspired and intentional. (Their maize latte and miso latte were perfect) You can tell there is real thought behind what they put on the menu. It reflects a level of care for the craft that is especially rare. It's been incredible to watch how far they've come since they started. They've grown without losing what makes them special, which is not easy to do. I don't live next door anymore, but I will never stop being a regular and I will never stop drinking the Maize latte (I literally dream about it).

I have to say, their drink was so good that I almost missed being at the finish line in time for my bf! Talega was so intriguing to me that I had to google what it meant. "Talega coffee is an artisanal method that uses a talega, a cotton bag traditionally used to carry coins. Over time, it was discovered that these bags were ideal for filtering coffee, giving rise to this traditional method. In addition, the word "talega" comes from Arabic and means "to hang," which refers to the original use of these bags. The bag is made of cotton, a material widely used in Mexico since ancient times, especially during the Mexica period for making clothes. Likewise, the cotton, made of 100% cotton, is a completely organic product ideal for preparing coffee. Therefore, cotton, composed of 90% cellulose, does not introduce foreign odors or flavors to the coffee and is insoluble in water." via huupa.coffee The owners, Tyler and Renee, were so wonderful. I had such a nice time chatting with them about coffee in general and what a beautiful place and concept and vibe they have at their shop! If you've been to Telega, you know how beautiful and dreamy the spot is. It feels so cozy, like a living room of your best friend's house. But, it also feels like you are in the lobby of a very artsy hotel. They have such creative and intriguing seasonal drinks, manzana latte, miso maple flat white, and picca latte. I didn't get a chance to try them but I got their iced matcha with oat and it was so good! Just perfect. I sent my bf and his bro here the next day and they also loved their coffee so much! We def need to come back to visit Tucson and especially to visit their coffee shop again. My bf said his second order of coffee, their machine wasn't working so it was on the house. They are so generous! We came back on our way out and stopped by them again because my bf insisting for paying his cortado but it was after 2pm. We realized when we got there.. Well, this just means we def will need to come back and I think my bf and his peeps are already considering coming back for next year Tour de Tucson so I can't wait to come back to Talega again!
