There were great coffee options and I love the local items for sale! Plus, one of the stickers for the café was drawn by one of the baristas! I enjoy those little details in a local coffee shop. I loved my marshmallow iced latte and wish I could have hung out because it had nice casual seating and a great vibe. Would recommend & come back to try other latte options.

When my husband received our drink order and tasted his, he told me it didn't taste right. (He orders the same thing at every place, a vanilla latte) He asked the employees if it was the correct coffee and let them know it did not taste right. Instead of remaking it or apologizing to rectify the issue, they were rude and unopologetic. The employee told him, that's how we make it here and that they would not remake it. They also said they have plenty of customers, so us not returning would not hurt their business. This is now the second time my husband has not had the best experience at this location. I did taste his vanilla latte and it tastes like dirty milk. I'm disappointed in their service and now the coffee as well. I'm sad to leave this review. My husband and I use to come here quite often. We have recently been visiting many of the small locally owned coffee stores around Tucson. One, to broaden our coffee buds and two, to support the local small businesses. This is one we will not be returning to.

For some reason, I think it's the building builder sign that is larger. Anyway, they have a small menu, and not much for those who aren't big coffee drinkers. Also very limited on food.. maybe a few pastries. There were small tables, and a couch seating. But this place has fans clearly, because it was pretty consistent with customers. I got a chai drink that I flavored with lavender I think it was (or maybe it was pistachio, I can't remember). Either way it was light, and good. The building gave modern and European or something, I don't know. It was cool for a remote work.

They've improved the quality of their beans, drinks and pastries since the last time here and it's a game changer. Definitely stop by and have a great experience, you won't regret it.

Wow!!! OMG!!! I was…read moresitting in my hotel room trying to decide where to grab my cortado for the day when I came across this place. The menu immediately caught my attention, so I made the quick 10-minute drive over. Street parking was plentiful and super easy. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by not one, but TWO friendly smiles and "good mornings!" We had a quick conversation about my coffee preferences, and the sweet girl and gentleman behind the bar whipped up two breve cortados for me -- one Orange Cardamom and the other their seasonal Rose Chocolate. I noticed the roast was a little darker than what I normally prefer, but it smelled incredible. Then came the first sip... WOW. Such a beautifully balanced drink! The roast was smoky, rich, and chocolatey without being overpowering. Both drinks were great, but the Orange Cardamom was absolutely the winner for me. The citrus and spice worked perfectly with the espresso. EPIC CUP!!!!! Fantastic coffee, genuinely friendly service, and a place I would absolutely come back to.

If Tucson has a heartbeat, part of it lives inside Talega Coffee Roasters…read more I used to live next door, and honestly, they were the only thing keeping me in Armory Park as long as I stayed. When I finally moved, I thought the hardest part would be adding 30 minutes to my commute. It wasn't. It was losing that daily routine of walking into a place that feels so real and personal. Talega isn't just a coffee shop. It feels intimate in a way that's hard to find now. You can tell Tyler & Rene actually care. Not just about the coffee, but about the people who come in and the community around them. Nothing about it feels transactional. You're remembered, conversations matter, and it feels grounded in something genuine. Their seasonal drinks are what really set them apart. They are not cheap grabs for attention or copies of whatever is trending online. The ideas feel inspired and intentional. (Their maize latte and miso latte were perfect) You can tell there is real thought behind what they put on the menu. It reflects a level of care for the craft that is especially rare. It's been incredible to watch how far they've come since they started. They've grown without losing what makes them special, which is not easy to do. I don't live next door anymore, but I will never stop being a regular and I will never stop drinking the Maize latte (I literally dream about it).
