I own the local Tucson Coffee shop, Prest Coffee. I have been exclusively using Adventure coffee to supply my coffee shop for the past 5 years. I am 100% satisfied with Adventure. The owners are a father and son duo, and have been in business about 20 years and are masters of their craft. They don't own a cafe, all they do is focus on roasting, which I think is awesome! They offer delivery for their wholesale customers which is super convenient for me, and they roast every Monday so I can get the freshest possible coffee beans, which in turn makes a huge difference is the quality and flavor of the french press style coffee we brew at my drive thru cafe. If you want really good, locally roasted, organic and fair-trade coffee, then I suggest you check them out. You can find them at most Farmer's Markets in Tucson. I usually pick mine up at the St. Phillips market on Sunday mornings. They actually bring one of their roasters out to the market and roast while they sell. Can't get much fresher than that! read more

Adventure Coffee is great. We used to love picking up their coffee at the Tucson farmers markets, and since moving to Colorado we've had trouble finding a good source of locally roasted coffee that doesn't break the bank. While there's some decent roasters here, they are a little pretentious and expensive, and I have found that we can get their coffee shipped for less than picking up some of the local stuff. Their quality is consistently great, and I can tell that it's recently been roasted, because I can already smell it when I'm five feet away from the mailbox. It comes in a non-sealed, non-pretentious paper bag, so I put it in ziplock bags as soon as I get it. read more

Customer service is amazing so don't be afraid to chat with the owners Scott and his wife; they both still sit behind the both at most Farmer's Markets! They are more than happy to share information about their products, and in speaking with them you'll quickly realize how knowledgable and passionate they are about coffee and their business. They've been around for a long time. The attention to detail in the different blended coffees is also impressive. My favorite blend is Full Moon, which the owner spent several years working on (he shared this with me at the most recent Farmer's Market). He suggested this blend because I asked for a more balanced flavor to use in my French Press. They also offer single origin coffee, and have the ability to grind beans on site at the markets. Josh and his staff stand out among most craft roasters by having an unusually diverse offering of exotic coffees, consistently roasted to perfection. It is rare indeed to find coffees from regions as diverse as Bali and Congo at a small roaster. It's rarer still to find these in stock, freshly roasted, along with truly the best Yirgacheffe I've had. The espresso crema I get from their product is honey and caramel rich. You can not find better quality coffee. Organic, water processed decaf roasts. After working in the coffee industry for over 15 years, I am a complete coffee snob. This is the only brand I will drink now. They will even take orders for you if you ask in advance to have the roast you want available. They are at most of the Tucson Farmer's Markets, I seriously can't drink any other brand without wishing I had a cup of Adventure Roast Coffee in my cup. I'm fairly addicted to the Peruvian, but I will mix it up sometimes if they are out. They not only grind it for you right at the market, they will also mix the caff and decaf together before they grind it so you don't have to do it yourself.
