I stopped by after hearing so many great things but unfortunately left feeling a bit underwhelmed. The coffee was good, though not especially memorable. The pastries looked beautiful, but ours were dry and surprisingly dense. The café itself also felt fairly plain, so it didn't quite live up to the hype for me. I'd suggest putting a bit more focus on the pastries so they taste as good as they look. I'd still be open to giving it another try. read more

I thought the coffee was fine. I ordered an iced cinnamon roll latte with oat milk and I was kind of disappointed. Something about the way it's made has all the sweetener sink to the bottom and necessitates a swirl every time you drink. If you don't, you'll end up like me, with a mouthful of that at the end of the drink. I also ordered a bacon egg and cheese while there, which was exponentially better than the coffee. I don't know how long the fruit it came with had been sitting out, but it was mushy to the point that it could probably be removed entirely with a price point to reflect that. Inside and out, there's a good amount of seating to not warrant taking your food to-go if not needed. Unfortunately, that's probably the highest note I have here, because the staff were also lackluster and acted as if it was the biggest inconvenience to have an additional customer in a shop full of them. read more

I went back here on Friday to do remote work with a friend again. This time I got a ham croissant sandwich and beignets, which were filled with.. get this.. cookie butter!! I love cookie butter so I found this a cool find. The sandwich wasn't bad. It had him lettuce, tomato, and honey mustard on a croissant. To drink, I ordered the blueberry lavender lemonade, taking a chance since I don't really like tart drinks. That did not pay off as the drink was horrible.. super watery and really no detectable lavender. We were able to sit tucked away in the comfy seat in the corner, which was comfortable, but also under the speakers, I think..and Friday they had that music blasting. It wasn't the same mix of music or genres that I really liked last time so they definitely change up the music. The staff was really nice though. A cute little coffee place hidden in Rita Ranch. You will usually find a little bit of a crowd, but it goes fast. Usually some people sitting outside enjoying the patio area. It's a good mix for most "coffee people", I think the clientele from that popular chain, would be very happy here, a huge variety of syrups and drinks... I absolutely loved this place. The inside of the place was clean, organized and very aesthetically pleasing. I came here to get some coffee with my kids. We came here early around 8am and it wasn't very packed which was ideal for me since I had my hands full. I can't remember the name of the latte I got but it was essentially a cinnamon latte with almond milk and it was DELICIOUS. I also ordered one of their croissant sandwiches. They all looked so good so I couldn't decide but I chose one that was basically ham and cheese with strawberry jam. I have never had a breakfast sandwich with strawberry jam, but I was pleased surprised. I loved it. My son got a chocolate milk and a cookie. The cookie was really good and huge. This was on my list to try after seeing an Instagram spotlight. They have some tasty looking pastries but on this trip I only tried one of their drinks. I ordered a large iced chai latte with coconut milk. The drink was disappointing. It didn't have any flavor, it didn't have any spice to it. For as much as coffee and drinks are at places you want it to at least taste like something. This was a bit disappointing. The baristas were friendly. The aroma of the coffee smelled good and was inviting as you walked in. They have seating inside or outdoors available. We sat outside to enjoy the sunshine. It is a in a good location. I'd missed having a coffee shop in the Rita Ranch area after the last one in this space closed. It looks very similar now and I'm happy to visit here again. They have a good variety of coffee options, as well as many flavored sweeteners. I am happy to say they carry a nice variety of sugar-free ones, too. I had an iced coffee which was refreshing on a hot day. I didn't try any of their baked goods this time, but they looked delicious. The staff was very friendly, the place was clean, and they had several little tables to sit at, as well as a cute little nook with comfy chairs. We were so happy with this stop. To start, the ambiance inside was really nice with plenty of seating and soft music playing. The service was super friendly, and both ladies working were helpful describing food and drink options. We tried their bacon breakfast burrito and sausage croissant sandwich and would happily order either again; they were both toasted perfectly and had a great balance of fillings (keep in mind they're new, and may have a changing menu as they figure out what works best for them, so come in open-minded). I tried an iced oat milk vanilla latte and will likely make that my regular drink here - so good! Plus, they have a cute little patio that was dog-friendly. Great spot! read more

What takes away from this coffee shop experience is - the customers. It can be very crowded, and due to their close proximity to "The Loop, tons of cyclists!
