They are OK. Not great, not terrible, just OK. The service is where the lights are on, but nobody is home. There seems to be plenty of people working there, however the service is very slow and disorganized. The ambiance is what you would expect from a strip mall bagel shop - basic, no frills. In response to the District Manager: Visit the store several times throughout the month on your own or do a "Undercovet Boss" episode there. You'll see what needs to be addressed. Got the farmhouse sandwich. Great service, order completed in a timely manner, employees were kind... As for the sandwich I cant really say I'm too happy with it, The bagel & cream cheese 10/10, no problem with the ham, but the bacon and egg... ehh was not good. I really hate green eggs because to me that says those are premade and have sat in the fridge 2-3 days and I dont even do that at home. The bacon, tbh Dunkin Donuts has better bacon and egg. But the bagel and cream cheese was good asf so idk im kinda 50/50 on it. It still tasted good if I pretend like the issue isnt an issue for me. I came in today after church for my bagels like most Sundays. This girl was so rude y to everyone! There were no napkins in the lobby, so I asked the girl if I could have a napkin, she glanced at me and said " you need to wait" then she yelled to the line of employees to see what the girl at the register had, the customer tried to tell her what she had and she cut her off and said, " no they are telling me" wth? I then asked one of the guys if I could have some napkins and he went to look for some in the back. I waited for about a minute, then looked down and there was a small clear bag of napkins. I so I said, oh here's some, I'll just take these. It has been a hot minute since I steppin into, and had and tried Brugger's bagel shop my husband had never tried it it was his first time grant you, a Saturday around 11ish, and the service was very very slow but the servers and ones taking the orders were super nice and polite, Jaiden was AWESOME it was not his fault at all and the cashier Jazmin I hope I got her name right was really really good, the ambiance and food my bagel was GOOD the bagels were very small though, thought they could be bigger in size,(It took about 15 minutes for us to get our sandwiches though) I told my husband usually during the week its not this chaotic depending when you go. but I get it, the place was a mess though trash and the floorboards had not been cleaned in IDK how long, nothing swept you clean as you go, even when its busy they were STRUGGLING BACK IN THE FRONT AND BACK, I felt bad for them, the workers, the manager or owner all he did was walk around and DID NOT HELP the workers AT ALL. HORRIBLE, My husband ordered 2 sandwiches and GOT SO SO SICK his stomach and within about an hr or so was puking out the food. Was not a good experience for him NO BUENO for him we may try he said next time will just be bagel and cream cheese ONLY. None of the meat cheese egg NO THANKS. Mine was good though. The bagel texture was very hard for him on his teeth also. So the workers were a 9 out of 10 the service 4 out of 10 and the store itself clean and all was about 2 out of 10. Food is great managers are always rude in my experience every time I go. Staff is usually nice but not welcoming. It seems a bit disorganized. Usually when I walk in it's just staff staring at me and then no one really says anything for a minute or two till they're ready to take my order. Management or whoever is in charge on shift always comes off very rude and condescending. I feel like I'm bothering them. If I could give no stars, I would. I went in for my usual bacon, egg, and avocado everything bagel sandwich. It came with a free coffee. I guess when I placed my order, the free coffee didn't show up on the order. So, I asked this girl with a ponytail where the free coffee was. She responded very rudely and yelled at me in front of the other customers, waving my receipt in the air, and said. "There is no free coffee! It's only the sandwich on the receipt!" She explained to me that I needed to get the coupon online in order to get the free coffee, again, very rudely. She didn't show me how and where to get the coupon. Like many seniors, I need help with technology). It's so sad that this location has gone down in customer service. My daughter and I used to go to this location. He's always smiling, always greets everyone, he's the absolute perfect employee that the rude girl needs to get some pointers from. Growing up in jersey, we got spoiled by all the great food we have. But $4.01 for a bagel, really? Back east, the bagels are 2x the size and have much more cream cheese on them and are about $2.50 - $ 4.00. This bagel Barely had any cream cheese on it. Just 2 tiny scoops, lol. Had good flavor... sorta. I'd rather have a bagel from a supermarket than have to go back. Sorry guys, maybe you should try making doughnuts instead of bagels? Great bagels and super friendly staff! This morning I was looking for something easy to feed some contractors who were working on my house. Brueggers conveniently has affordably priced packages of all different sizes. I got a baker's dozen plus 2 tubs of cream cheese and a 96 oz coffee dispenser for $30. Sometimes they make their plain bagels with cool colors to celebrate holidays. This weekend they're offering green for St Patrick's day. I've also enjoyed some of their salads for lunch in the past. The employees have always been welcoming and helpful, even in the early mornings when people are generally cranky before getting their coffee. This may just be the dirtiest Brueggers Bagels in all of Pima County. And im not making that comment lightly. The tables are dirty and dusty, floor is the same. The little thing where they place the veggies and cream cheese.. old crumbs everywhere, behind the toaster DIRTY. and this is all just on first sight when you place your order. I cant even imagine what the back looks like, but I noticed milk cartons out, uncapped bottles, again, dirty surfaces. To top it off one of the managers came out to the front holding a coffee box and started a conversation saying, "this has been in the fridge for a week, im throwing it out now, its illegal" The staff is really friendly don't get me wrong. I have been coming here for years and loved the staff and the food. This spot is my go to breakfast whenever i'm feeling lazy. Today I went to this location (which I hadn't been to in a while but I used to be a regular here) and the new manager was being so rude and was such a Karen. My order has been the same every time I come and it always comes out costing the same. But today the manager checked me out and tried to charge me an extra $5 on the sandwich i always spend $10 on. She was rude and was trying to make up reasons as to why she was ripping me off. I will continue to not come to this location and only the locations in Tucson. The food is abs horrible and overpriced. I paid almost $20 for the smoked salmon bagel, sriracha honey bagel and an underbaked blueberry muffin. I get home, open the wrappings and the food is just so bad. the sriracha bagel was super small, almost a mini bagel size, with barely any toppings/fillings and the bagel itself was rubbery. The smoked salmon bagel was so bad, both my husband and I puked after taking one bite. I think the salmon was rotten, as it tasted horrid and we had to throw the whole rubbery sandwich away.The blueberry muffin was raw in the middle and gross. Sadly, I just keep coming back to this place for the location/closeness/convenience. Their food is overpriced. The staff is 50/50... some times friendly and some times "awkward" and silent. Our last visit, I got a cheese bagel with plain cream cheese. The guy used a dirty knife with cream cheese on it to cut my bagel, which I figured was plain cream cheese so wasn't too worried about it. However, when I ate my bagel, it was weird and salty so clearly something else was going on on that knife. Also, he was going to toast my bagel AFTER he put my cream cheese on... I had to ask him to toast it first. He replied they do it either way??? That was odd. Also, their iced coffee always tastes burnt. Their "points/reward" system is ALWAYS down. We usually love bruegger's but this location is not good. We have tried it twice and will drive to a different location even though this one is close by. The customer service was not good either time and the last time we tried it was very messy where they make the bagels. When we got our bagels they where very sloppy and I had some avocado from my daughters on mine which was a cinnamon and raisin. So not really a good combo from me. Everything a grease finger prints on it I'm guessing from the bacon on my husbands. It was a sloppy mess. But you'll be lucky to find this bagel shop hidden in the back behind that Bank of America in the middle of a long road with nothing on either end. The bagels are good the sandwiches are nice we've been here several times and it seems to be one of our stops as we roll out of Tucson heading toward Texas. The nice thing about this place is for sure the location in that while we're leaving Tucson we have exited the major problem traffic which happens around Wildhorse and can be rough. Aside from my appreciation for the company for creating such deliciousness, I have only had positive experiences at this location. Today they went above their established good, friendly quality of customer service. I called ahead my order as I was running a wee bit later than I'd have liked. They charged me over the phone and brought the food to my car so I wouldn't have to get out with the baby. I am so appreciative of this step above to help my morning move smoothly. Thank you! Went here for lunch on a Thursday. First thing that strikes you is some of the paint is peeling on the walls. That shouldn't be something that you notice when you walk into a business (unless that business is going for the more "urban dilapidation" look, which I'm pretty sure Bruegger's isn't going for. Kinda makes you wonder how they maintain the kitchen. The smoked salmon and herby turkey sandwiches are OK. Seems like they have been staples for their menu for quite some time. The bagel I had was not quite as chewy as I'd like, but that's my personal preference. If you want bagels, it's a good place to get them fresh in the morning. As for coming here for lunch, although I live in the area, it's just not a place I would frequent often. read more
