Scented Leaf Tea House is a tea lover's dream. The selection can feel overwhelming at first--they even have tea on tap--but the staff was incredibly helpful and guided me to the perfect drink. They offer a great mix of hot and cold beverages, so there's something for every mood and season. Add in the outdoor seating on nice days, and it's an easy place to relax, sip, and stay awhile. A must-stop for anyone who appreciates a good cup of tea and great vibes.
This is such a cool concept for a business. A tea bar with teas 'on draft.' You can also get refills on drinks on the day of purchase; the first is $1.50 and then the second is free. It can be mix and match, too. Apparently, the refill teas have to come from the teas on draft. So, if you want something hot you need to start with it as your 'full priced tea.' I got a Darjeeling with maple and some whole milk, medium sweetness. Very good! My mom got a black cherry chai mix with whole milk, medium sweetness. She found that a bit too sweet for her--I was fine because I love sugar! For my second drink, I got the nitro match medium sweetness. I don't exactly know what their default sweetener is...I was told you could get honey or other things, too. The nitro drinks are a bit of an upcharge but totally worth it, in my opinion. For my final drink I got some sort of mango lemonade thing. This didn't really taste like tea tea, if that makes any sense. It was also delicious! Anyway, three drinks for about $8 so not too shabby! The staff were also very helpful and patient. I can't make up my mind to save my life on a good day, and there are wayyyyyyy too many options here!

(2) all downtown and campus parking meters have newly expanded hours - now requiring payment until 7pm (no longer ending at 5pm) AND now including Saturdays (so only Sundays remain free). Ps, for the hour or so that I was lunching/working here none of the baristas ventured to clean any of the frequently rotating tables despite boku gaps in customers at the register. I quietly wiped some dried spills off of mine :-/
I was kind of disappointed that my latte didn't look like the drink on the sign that was being advertised with whip cream and all. I wish the girls working would've asked if I wanted all the toppings. Found really close parking by proper shops so my visit wasn't too stressful. Wish tables were a little cleaner they were a tad sticky.
If you like tea, you will enjoy this place. They have a good variety of different teas which varying levels of caffeine. You can order your tea cold or hot and adjust your sugar level. I wanted a decaf tea so I got the iced Raspberry Rose tea mixed with Prickly Pear tea with just a little agave sweetener. Very refreshing and delicious without being too sweet. My husband enjoyed his hot chai latte tea. Since this was our first visit to this place, the server behind the counter was very helpful and patient with us as we took some time to decide. Vibrant and bright atmosphere.
Love Scented Leaf and especially this location near my office! The decor is gorgeous, the staff pleasant and accommodating and it's also on the Streetcar! I have invented excuses to have meetings here in the past, and am now officially celebrating their festive holidays tea, Cranberry Sangria! Delicious and refreshing!

I absolutely love the cold brew packs and I think they're a great deal. It was 3 for $15 and each one makes 64 oz. I'm pretty sure the drink we got was called the fruit bomb, it had lemonade in it and it was so refreshing and delicious.
I went down to Tucson with friends to the ASU/UA game and they took me here to Scented Leaf Tea House. This is a nice tea shop in the downtown area across the street from Hotel Congress. There is so much tea here! All of their tea is in loose form and finely chopped. I got myself a London Fog - one of my favorite teas. This is a great find and we had a nice time here before the game. Check out the beautiful mural on the wall.

I fell in love with the fruity Thai tea and oat milk. The cold pack they sell is amazing my favorite is hibiscus tea so good for summer and more tangy side. The inside and ambiance is beautiful they have hand painted mural perfect place to study as well or grab tea with friends. Great hidden gem!

There are plenty of tables and chairs if you want to pull out your laptop and get a little work done. Now that we've set the scene let's move onto the main event: the tea. With so many teas on tap you'll be sure to find one you love. I had the Prickly Pear and the Honey Vanilla. Both amazing! A neat thing they do is color code their teas from highly caffeinated (black) to least caffeinated (pink). Pro-tip: First tea is full price, refill is $1, 2nd refill is FREE! That cycle repeats if you get a 4th cup. Pro-Pro-Tip: Get the edible glitter to fancy up your drink.

We went here to get extra cheap packages from the bum drink gave some to my sister so I needed a refill my needso. We came down here and the lady was really nice and made it up for me. Show me my girlfriend had a couple t drinks and we sat in there for a half an hour and I got two refills pay dexter for them and I also bought a ten dollar gift card as a gift for a friend read more

I am normally a coffee person, so this was definitely out of my comfort zone. When you walk in the whole wall is covered in different tea options, and I was a bit overwhelmed. But once the amazing person at the register recommended a few items for me, I felt much better. The service was wonderful and It felt so welcoming and warm in that location, and definitely makes me want to come back and try something else next time. read more

Very attentive to my comments and based on them, made recommendations on which teas might be best suited as I begin my exploration into the world of teas. While there I tried one of their gong-fu tea services along with a small plate of nuts and dried fruit to go along with my teas. The experience and ambiance was wonderful! I will definitely share this experience with friends that come into town for visits! I purchased a tea tray and a pouch of tea for use at home with a tea service set that I'd already purchased from a different vendor. The pictures show their tea tray with my new tea service. They also fulfill website orders extremely fast! read more

"Found" this place via a Yelp event. After sampling those goodies I returned to get more! I had specifically requested a low/non-caff tea with full flavors and was promptly recommended the hibiscus lemon drop and the raspberry lemon drop -- both were outstanding. We use these to gulp with dinner and/or to combine with cocktails, hence the decaf preferences. One thing neither of us realized is that each packet (see pic) makes four (4) concentrated cups of tea. That is, once you're done brewing, you need to subsequently dilute it 2:1 when serving. Odd at first blush but awesome once we absorbed its advantages (brewing flask and storage mainly)! We didn't know that at first and had a glass of the concentrated version... super fruity and a little too sweet, aka flavor-bomb! Now that we know, the $6 brewing packets (which actually make 8 cups) are quite reasonable. The staff (different both times) were incredibly friendly and helpful in guiding us through the menu of 30+ tea options. Our fav (the hibiscus) was out but they assembled some packages while we waited. FYI, the price/pack is slightly discounted if you buy 3 at once (mix/match ok)! read more

I decided to stop by this place again on Saturday to get some work done. The first time I came I enjoyed 'The BURST' but this time I got the rockin' mango and the mango sunrise. The rockin mango is made up of green tea mango, moroccan mint and freshly squeezed lemon! The mango sunrise is made up of green tea mango, papaya passion and strawberry lemonade but Chey suggested to get it topped off with hibiscus. Excellent choice! I love that you can pick your desired level of sweetness in your beverage. I also thought it was pretty cool that my first refill was at a discounted price and my second refill was free! I don't know if that applies to all size beverages but I got a large. I love the ambiance and the relaxing music. Chey and Maren are such beautiful ladies with positive attitudes and I'm gonna make it my mission to try the entire menu. read more

I don't go downtown often but this place is such a gem. It's their 2nd location and the inside is quite cozy but they have plenty of outdoor seating as well in front and out back. They offer a variety of tea flavors, you can add milk and adjust the level of sweeetness desired so the combinations are endless! They even have a bunch of teas on tap, as well as nitro coffee. You can also buy pouches to take home to brew your own tea. I like being able to try something new each time I visit! read more

First and last time. Sorry not a fan and I love tea! Ordered a silver white tea and she made it wrong. After letting it cool off so I can actually taste it, it was bitter. White tea should be light and delicate to taste, not this one. Also ordered a slice of their red velvet wrapped in plastic wrap, should have been a sign to stay clear. It was dry and any moisture it had evaporated from it. The hub commented that it may have been in the fridge for a while... On a positive note, the lounge looked clean. We ended up playing cards to pass time. Nice quiet place to chit chat. read more
If you find yourself downtown, I recommend making a stop here for tea. They have so many options to choose from and if the choices are too overwhelming, their tearistas are incredible and will happily help make something to fit your taste. The shop has limited seating, so we normally stop here before taking a walk downtown or after hiking Tumamoc. I ordered the "taste the rainbow" drink last time and was instantly in love; not only was it beautiful but it tasted fantastic. For a fun twist, they can add edible glitter to any beverage (for those of you who want to add an extra sparkle to your Instagram worthy drink). This is such a great local spot! read more

If you like tea, a nice cozy spot to study or read, or just need to stretch outside of the house during the quarantine... this place is it! I loved going to Scented Leaf pre-coronavirus and in-between classes and am glad they're still up and operating! They have hot/cold teas depending on your liking and a wiiiiide variety of teas to choose from. Some even on tap! My go-to is the favorite "Fruit Gusher" iced tea with low sweet. You can choose how sweet you prefer yours (zero, low, medium, high). They have a board that lists some tea combinations that are being featured. I just tried the "Lemonade Zinger" and it's really good too! I know I can never go wrong with any of their combos. You can also make your own by asking; they'll give you a try. Their staff is always so friendly and helpful. I love it. PS. This downtown location is my favorite as it's a lot less crowded than the university one. Plus, the seats and setup is much cozier. read more

Love drinking tea, but I need strong tea flavors without sweeteners added. This place has it. The cold teas on tap are wonderful. The staff allow you to taste the different flavors and you can combine whatever you want. We tried this place as part of a food tour, but I made sure to save my cup and came back after the tour ended for their refill program. $1 for the first refill and free for the second! Sooo refreshing after a hot day in the sun. read more

Location: Directly on Congress The Skinny: Great teas, excellent selection, moderately priced, low priced refills. Review: This location is not hard to find and is definitely a jewel. You order at the counter and the tea is made to order. The refills are approximately $.50 for the medium and $1.00 for the large. They have all different flavors and sweeteners and I will definitely go back Should you go: Definitely Recommendation: Can't go wrong with the Prickly Pear tea Kids reviews: I just want regular tea.
