Came here on a date. It was very cute. I really enjoyed having a new experience. My date was familiar with the tea house and etiquette. It was relaxing and inviting. The server was a really nice young man who was also very knowledgeable. The menu was soooo extensive and overwhelming. However after describing what I like the waiter absolutely delivered and I enjoyed my experience! read more

Authentic Chinese teas sourced directly from China. From what I understand, the owner personally travels to China to handpick the teas and bring them back to Tucson, which makes the experience feel incredibly special and genuine. This place is truly unique -- unlike anything else in the area. The rosebuds are my favorite, but there's a huge and diverse selection to explore, so there's always something new to try. You can enjoy a relaxing cup of tea, pair it with a refreshing seaweed salad, and even play a game of mahjong while you're there. Overall, it's a wonderful spot for anyone who appreciates quality tea and a cozy, culturally rich atmosphere. read more

Seven Cups is a favorite! We meet friends here, bring out of town guests, and just stop by on our own. The tea room has a quiet, calm ambience and the selection of teas and snacks is unmatched. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. We also have purchased teaware and tea as gifts for family, all of which were appreciated. If you haven't been, make plans to go. read more

I finally made it to Seven Cups on a recent rainy day and it was a truly lovely experience. The dining room is beautiful and intimate, with only a handful of tables and gorgeous decor. I had the baby chrysanthemum herbal tea with goji berries, which was quite tasty, although I think I liked my friend's drunken peach tea better. The rosemary shortbread cookies were the perfect pairing. The servers were attentive and very helpful. Great experience. read more

Lovely first time experience. Large selection of teas and informative staff. Unlimited water refills ... and I learned that teas leaves can be seeped several times over and retains its delicious aroma and taste. The standard tea service was well presented. They also have a 'snack menu'- tried the tea egg and cookies... the tea egg was interesting but not my favorite... but then again, I have a sweet tooth (of note, a lot of their snack items are from Rosebud bakery... which is always yummy). Great activity with friends or a solo soothing event. In addition, they sell a large selection of teas, teapots and tea cups should you wish to recreate this at home. Definitely will be going back and recommend for a fun experience in Tucson. read more

What a lovely experience we had at this tea shop! Their shop is filled with Chinese decor, even down to beautifully carved doors. Their shop server was very friendly and knowledgeable of the teas. The teas are brewed fresh in pots at the table and were all so delicious. They also sell small treats like tea cookies. Highly recommend for a unique tea experience! read more

What a delight to discover this niche shop filled with authentic imported teas right in Tucson! I was amazed by the vast collection of Chinese teas--including many green, wulong, black, puer, and herbal varieties--as soon as I walked through the doors. The employees are incredibly knowledgeable about their products and provided a sampling of their latest imports when we arrived. The detailed descriptions of each tea, as well as the scent samples available on the lower shelf, are super helpful for choosing the best product for you. I love that they include the name of the grower and harvest time--it truly shows the quality of their sourcing! While I chose to simply shop this time, I'd definitely return to sit down and enjoy a pot of their seasonal teas and snacks. read more

One of my favorite spots to find a still quiet cup of tea - the AC is always perfectly controlled and the table and chairs are cool without being polyester sticky or hot and cotton. There's a pothos hanging from the ceiling. They describe the tea ceremony to you as you're being served and it feels almost like a live ASMR video. read more

What a gem this place is!! I am completely blown away by the tea selections on their extensive menu. As soon as you enter, they bring over a tray of sample tea to wet your palate. My son and I are huge tea lovers. Each tea on the menu has an interesting name and description of what their flavor notes are. It was hard to decide but we chose the Naka Sun-Dried (black tea with notes of chocolate) and Drunken Peach. It's best to drink it with one of their cookie selections. We got the Coconut Cardamom Shortbread and Walnut cookies. So light and delicious. I could have easily eaten a dozen. We were told that each teapot can yield 3-5 pots. Don't hesitate to have them pack the seeped tea leaves for you to bring home. They will refill your pot with hot water as well but there is a 2 hour time limit to sit and enjoy. Space is small with a few tables and they were all occupied when we were there. The young ladies working there are such dolls. Don't hesitate to ask them any questions. Lots of beautiful tea merch for sale at the front of the shop. read more

What a remarkable place this is! An amazing selection of Chinese teas, an inordinate amount from Fujian and all of which they source themselves, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and tea tastings when you walk in the door. Lots of places to sit with friends and enjoy tea. I stopped by for some tea after grabbing a bite at Gallery of Food next door. I went home with a whole bunch of teas! (BTW, many of the fresh cookies they provide are from Gallery of Foods. Great compliments to their fine teas.) read more

I recently met my friend here and what a wonderful experience. This is a new location and it is perfect. I felt relaxed immediately when I walked in and we were welcomed and seated. The tables are spread apart to allow for private conversations and serenity. I'm not a tea expert and our server guided me through the menu. I ordered Silver Dragon Silver Pearls. It was delicious with a great bouquet and sweet flavor. My friend ordered Rose Jasmine Blooming Tea. Also delicious but not as sweet as my tea. The blooming tea was fun to watch which is why I took so many pictures. We also ordered a plate of dried fruit and nuts which went well with our tea. We had an amazing time and I was so relaxed when we left. I'm looking forward to returning soon. read more

So many different types of teas. The staff were so knowledgeable and they made nice suggestions. If you want to relax and have a drink, this is a wonderful place. There are not many tables, and they have a 2 hour limit and they will refill your tea pot as many times as you want. There is also a menu of quick snacks which you can order. My only drawback was our table was close to the bathroom, which made it awkward every time someone went in. If they had a screen or partition that would help. read more

What a lovely place. We stopped in just to buy some tea but were drawn in by the friendly staff and the décor. We definitely felt intimidated, knowing absolutely nothing about Chinese tea, but the staff members who helped us answered all of our questions without making us feel like a bother. We also appreciated the tea / snack pairing suggestions and the coconut cardamom cookie I got was incredibly delicious. One of us got the standard service and the other one got the more complex one. Both of us were fascinated by the whole experience. This place is an absolute gem in Tucson and we can't wait to go back and try another tea and snack! read more

I went solo on a whim today, needed teas to calm life. Lady tried her best to help me but she can only do so much. Two different bags of teas and one taste test later, I'd give this place 4 stars. Seven Cups - Teas for the good of the body - Tea Rooms Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

For as long as this place has been in Tucson, I can't believe I had never heard of it. I used my GPS to get there but drove right past it. I made a U turn and saw the mural heading west bound which I knew was it from the reviews. The door and atmosphere is so darn cool. We were the only ones inside the entire time and it took forever for someone to come to help us. We tried 2 different teas, you kind of just have to pick one with a great name because the selection is a little overwhelming. Each person is required to order their own pot and you have the table for 2 hours. Over an hour after we were there the owner came over and asked us to move our cars to the other side of the parking lot, which was really strange. Overall, a great place for a date, meeting with friends or quiet work space. read more

Walking in took me right back to tea shops in China. They've designed this shop as authentically as possible. There is quite a variety of tea options to choose from and each one was so unique. My group did a tea tasting of 6 different teas and each one had its own distinct taste that was expertly described by the staff. Had a relaxing afternoon enjoying the different teas while chatting away. Only complaint was that the service lagged at some moments and some of the teapots could have been refilled more promptly read more

Searched for a place to have "High Tea" with my friends for a birthday and found the only thing close to that at Seven Cups. What a gem on Ft Lowell Road! You walk in from Armageddon and are transported to a lovely welcoming tea house in China! Beautiful, relaxing and welcoming. The service was outstanding. As we arrived she poured us some samples of tea from China and described it like it was a fine wine. Flavor notes, season harvested and health benefits. When all my guests arrived we each got a different of delicious pot of tea and baked goods that were very different and fresh and delicious. Really delicious! Even the dried fruit and nuts were special. It was a big hit! They even brought out little mung cake with a candle on It so we could sing Happy Birthday! We bought the birthday girl a bag of tea from her favorite pot. Everyone loved it! read more

I'm a long time fan of Seven Cups so it pains me to leave a bad review. This is only about the service, not the tea which is always high quality. This afternoon I went for the tea service with my mom. After we received the menus we waited ten minutes before going to the front to ask the waitress helping us to come take our orders. There were only two other people in the tea room so the issue was not that they were busy. When she returned with our tea she tossed the tray on the table and said "here you go" and abruptly left. I ordered a $20 rare wu long tea called the east is red. Every other time I've been to the tea house the server took care to explain the brewing process and gave clear instructions on when to drink it. I didn't know if I was allowed to take the tea out of the pot or how long to wait. As a result my tea became bitter after the first cup. When she came around again I asked about the brew time and she told me 3 minutes. The pot was still half full at that point and she refilled it, mixing the new water with the bitter tea. This was also the first time she told me I could take the basket out of the water. But at that point it was too hot to touch and my tea was ruined. I realize that this review may sound snobby but when you are paying this much for tea, and when the service in the past has been so excellent, it's pretty disappointing turn of events. read more

Oh gosh this was such a happy coincidence. We had a little time to spare and wanted a pot of tea. Seven Cups is gorgeous - beautiful carvings and lights and decor. Excellent selections for tea. The servers were attentive and knew quite a bit about each tea or method of steeping. And the owner - she was amazing. Friendly, generous, met each patron and chatted with them. It was clear folks in town knew her and loved her and were regulars. I wish we had a spot like this in my town! Thank you, Seven Cups, for a lovely morning. And Happy New Year! read more

I love this place! They KNOW their tea. Tea is their passion! We were served by Santos, who is quite frankly, an amazing young man that knows a lot about tea and even information about individual teas. Santos' service was above and beyond. I've had great service there before by everyone who has been there, but Santos made it a very memorable experience for us. Thank you! It's a nice little teahouse, very pretty interior with a lot of culture around you. I haven't eaten anything here other than steamed pork buns, and they are so DELICIOUS! I highly recommend them. As for the tea, everything I have tasted from Seven Cups is amazing, even the products I've ordered online. We tried a few things from a yellow tea, to Puehr. Santos even shared 2 of his favorite teas, which were simply fantastic. I loved the tea pots he served us in; they were very beautiful clay pots. My recommendation is to ask about teas and choose one that speaks to you based off their recommendation. All in all I've been here several times, and everytime I have had a great time! read more

This place is so calm and quite that people were literally whispering. This has been in my list for a while and I'm glad I finally made time to visit. I thought it had feng shui kind of decor and yet very artistic. The lighting and the wooden furniture seems to be a perfect fit for the atmosphere. I genuinely feel this is one of those places you should go to sit and gather thoughts while enjoying a cup of tea with snacks. Lemme cut to the chase. Seven Cups - Silver needle white tea with red bean moon cake ! - Tea Rooms Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

Seven Cups offers such a calming and gentle environment. Here, you can find sweet and savory treats like spiced tea eggs, rice dumplings, wagashi and moon cake. The steamed bun is chewy as though it were previously frozen, which is too bad. That is my only major complaint. That, and the small amount of seating. Visitors beware: Students have discovered that in addition to the wonderful tea and treats, Seven Cups offers free WIFI. So you are bound to, at times, find a full house of folks studying for hours on end. Given that this is such a small space -- something like seven tables -- you may have to wait. But the staff here is cordial and has no problem asking people if they are comfortable sharing tables, which is cool. Love the wulong and display teas the most. Lovely with excellent service. read more

There's so much Chinese tea selection here. Very nice people. They have tea ceremonies and classes here too. So much tea here! I got the display green tea. Pretty good, I prefer stronger. Not sure if that's just the way this tea is our if it's because it's display. Pretty tough I got the mochi filed with red bean. Tasty. Also got the peach buns. Light, not too sweet. I finally came back and enjoyed an afternoon tea with a friend. This place is awesome! The tea selection is pretty extensive, at least for me. And it's still so beyond me that I can't wait to come back to learn more. They have free tea cuppings/tastings on Friday's at 3pm. The seating area in the back is intimate and super cozy. I met with a girlfriend to catch up and we stayed for almost three hours! I can totally see why they have a time limit on tables. We were there for a while. We ordered a tea for two and also enjoyed the rosemary shortbread, made by a local baker. As well as the mooncake, which is brought in from San Francisco. I'm smitten with this place.
