We came here to get some coffee for my boyfriend while passing through to our destination. We love supporting local coffee shops vs corporate! The coffee stop is cute with nice outdoor seating areas. They have a wide variety of options and a few pastries as well. The owners are also friendly and nice which makes the experience that much better.

Roasted: this is a super cute coffee food truck in Vail AZ. It's with a few other food trucks and the local thrift store. It's a small trailer with a small menu but good offerings. They use At Peak coffee for their espresso. They have a good options and plenty of sugar free options too. Plenty of outdoor seating. I love the vibe of this place. Barista was friendly and helpful. Mocha was delicious! It was spot on. I'd come back here for sure! Unroasted: small coffee trailer next to the train tracks is a person to enjoy a lovely morning. They have lots of coffee flavors including sugar free flavors. The barista was nice and attentive to our needs. Ordered the usual and it was really good. I would come back on the flavor alone. Great job all around. I would like mug instead of a paper cup but that might not be an option.

Wanted to try this little local coffee spot for some time now. We opted to go first thing in the early morning for our coffee fix! I ordered the Cafe Americano & it was good; just above average. I like my americanos a bit stronger. I will try something else next time. Hubby ordered their vanilla latte & said it was "above average." The service was very welcoming, helpful, & friendly! This coffee cart is hard to miss while driving down Colossal Cave Road! You're sure to spot their adorable YELLOW mini camper! There's plenty of covered outdoor seating. Sun has not even rose when we went, so it was still pretty dark & cold! The ambiance could use some soft melodic music & heaters, for a cozy feel! They also had homemade pastries that they confirmed are fresh by a day or two, max! I tried their gluten free Oatmeal, peanut butter, & chocolate chip bar & it was the perfect addition to my coffee! I will definitely return.

Adorable little coffee truck with shaded outdoor seating available. Very dog friendly. I ordered a vanilla iced latte and it came out fast and was so delicious! The coffee truck owners were super friendly also.

Great stop in vail! We grabbed drinks before my husband went golfing. The pasties were incredible and I'm drilling thinking about the caramel apple muffin. I loved that they had an apple pie chai for their seasonal menu. It was very good and awesome to enjoy a fall tea beverage since most places usually do not have them. There was ample seating, beautiful lights and the service was fast since there was no line.

Love the whole experience at Vail Coffee Stop. The coffee is delicious but it's the small town local feel and community that really makes this place a Vail gem. I also love how community oriented the owners are, constantly giving back. I'm proud to be a patron knowing so much ends up back in our local schools and neighborhoods.

Visiting family in Rita Ranch and wanted to have some coffee. Vail was just up the road and worth a drive. Tried the chai with espresso and oat milk. Tasty drink and the outdoor seating in the shade was super cute. They have a lot of coffees on the menu. If I lived there, I'd be a regular.

Don't miss this great local spot found just "between the tracks" in Vail. Stopped by today in the way to work and found the great coffee and smiling faces at the Vail Coffee Stop. It was a great way to start my morning and I look forward to coming back again. If you are in town or on your way to Colossal Cave, give it a shot!

Nice little coffee shop with great customer service. It's even better because it's in the heart of Vail with a perfect location.

The chipilone hotdog is unique in my experience - they crisped up the cheese on top, maybe under a broiler? Anyway, everyone loved it. The fries were great and sprinkled with tajine spice, as were the grilled chiles that came with the dog. I had the Chile relleno burro, and it also was unique in my experience - lots of veggies, including a fair amount of cabbage (see photo). Loved it!! The service was so friendly - they asked us if we wanted an additional Chile to go with the hotdogs and of course we said "yes!" They have 4 locations, all on the east side of town. they need to open one up in Oro Valley!!

Despite it being outdoors, the views of the mountains are great, and your nestled between some beautiful historical buildings in the community of Vail. Service is completely out of this world. I went once with my sister-in-law and the employees recognized us on our second trip. They greeted us and said they were glad to see us again. Their food is so good that I decided to have them cater my daughter's graduation party recently. They showed up with a giant truck that was parked outside my house. My guests were able to go up to the window and order what they wanted from a predetermined menu. They were greeted by the same amazingly friendly employees. The tacos and Sonora dogs were of the same fantastic quality as they were on my previous trips. They set up a salsa bar outside the truck so we could dress our tacos. It was so much easier than cooking or ordering food and running back and forth to get it. And my guests were well fed and happy! And let's face it, it looked pretty cool having the truck outside the house. Whether it's grabbing a quick bite for breakfast, lunch or dinner or hiring them to cater an event, you cannot go wrong with Giro Taco Truck.

We eat here a lot. Been coming here for quick food for at least 10 years…read more We were in the drive thru line one evening and were stopped about 3 cars back. We had a good view of the outside door facing the vehicle line (pretty sure it was the bathroom) and there was brown liquid seeping out from underneath the door onto the concrete sidewalk. It was not something that made you hungry for sure. An awful site. I would move that door or close it off. A dumb place for it. Other than that, it was fixed the next time we went. We have NEVER gotten sick here at Fito's Taco Shop. That's how I judge these places and will return until the day I do. Employees wash their hands well and keep clean kitchen area. On the other hand, their competitors (other Mexican mobile food vehicles ie: (roach coaches) parked between the tracks in the past) we did get sick. WE GOT REAL SICK, (like a virus sickness, horrible week of fever) the first time we went, and then stopped going to those mobile food vendors FOREVER after that. At Fito's Taco shop, their burritos have always been massive and delicious. If you take them apart, the tortillas are about 20 inch diameter or larger. Short wait times in their drive thru is what I like. Friendly people at the window that I have always tipped. So, 5 stars minus one star for that day something backed up but that wasn't really their fault was it? And, they apparantly called it in right? They get all 5 stars. Tip them well folks.

Shredded cheddar is not very authentic, but neither are nachos, one could argue. The atmosphere reminds me of a 1980's run down Taco Bell. Service was fine. I know there is not a lot of options in the area, I would just travel farther for better food.

We went out a couple weeks later and he was very nice and courteous. We tried his sonoran dogs and his barbacoa tacos. After my husband the barbacoa was best he ever had we finalized details. Day of party Rafael reaches out to me to let knoe was in route which was a nice touch. He set up quickly and was soon serving food. Our 50 guests were all fed efficiently, and he was cheerful and helpful through it all. In fact, I am pretty sure my fil has decided they are now best friends and I heard him make plans to go to the food truck in the future. There was plenty of food, which was good because it was so delicious everyone ate a lot. My husband had two sonoran hot dogs, two tacos and a quesadilla and I know most guests had a few items as well. But pricing was very reasonable to have the truck for the night, and he even stayed longer than initially agreed, as my guests kept coming up and ordering. Highly recommend for catering or just eating at when he's parked somewhere. Sorry no pics - too busy eating and socializing!

You could tell right from the start the guys in the truck were passionate about what they did. They showed a high level of excitement explaining their different empanadas and how to reheat them when you got home. On our first attempt, we ordered the ground beef , apple, chicken, pizza, and fatay. They neatly arranged it in a medium size pizza box that had the qualities and included the reheating instructions. Each empanada had initials stamped so you could identify the types without having to bite in to it. Every detail was well thought out with the customer in mind and I thought that was a great touch. Fast forward to reheating and biting in to the empanadas, I found them to be very flavorful. You could tell the flavors were layered nicely. These were so good I went back the next day and walked away with their large pizza box. I pretty much tried everything that wasn't special order. My preference, but I like that it's baked and not fried. The internal ingredients are more pronounced and not masked with fryer fat. The size was perfect in that you can try more than one and not be stuffed. It's quality over quantity and in a place like this it matters. Good stuff. I'll be back. Just under $4 each any flavor.
