He makes really good smoothies. I got a Mango smoothie from him today! He seems like a very genuine person. Thanks Herbie!

Really good coffee. Smooth and robust. Not to mention, always feels good to keep money local!

Not overly sweet ....perfect. They are located in La Encantada near the Campbell entrance across from North. It's a walk up but no one seems to mind me pulling up and parking for a minute to grab my drinks. The pastries are delicious...Almond, Pistachio, Nutella, and White Chocolate croissants...worth the carbs and calories. The aesthetics are really cool. They just added a bench and have tables to sit if you want to sit for a while and get some work done. The vibes is fresh and elevated without a hint of pretentiousness. The employees are friendly and helpful. Parking is not an issue. I would highly recommend you check this coffee shop out. I go her almost daily and have only great things to say

I was after something basic, my usual of a cold brew with some variety of flavor and almond milk. Sadly, they did not have any sugar free flavorings beyond matcha, which I was not interested in, so I went for half sweet salted caramel with almond milk. I went with a large cold brew and with the add-ins, it came to around $5, which is a solid price! Sadly, the iced coffee was not good. It was borderline sour, which means it had been hanging out for a bit too long. The flavoring and milk couldn't even mask it and I could only stomach about half of it before calling it a day. Additionally, service was "bleh". Both baristas I encountered were low energy and just odd vibes for a cute local coffee shop. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, as it sounds like their more complex house drinks are a bit more exciting. Now I know, and I wouldn't mind giving them a second go when I find myself back in the area. But until then, solid 2.5 for me.

(well once in taste, but I'll get to that) They have great in-house made items. Like the Challa bread, the preserves, their pesto. They most certainly know what they're doing. I had unseasoned filet mignon once, I believe it was the omelette. I talked to the manager. Now I wasnt upset, didn't send it back, I just told them what I experienced and mused that I found it odd the cook forgot a simple thing like salt. The manager acknowledged my complaint and that was all; or at least I was fine. Nope, she came back with a to-go box of croissants topped with cream and berries as an apology. They were tremendous by the way. She didn't have to do that. The ambiance is it's only weak point, but even that is minor. Simple black is fine. It's modern feeling and doesn't stand out loudly. They have outdoor seating, which early in the morning is fine, but id avoid in the summer, which will likely mean you'll be waiting, depending on the time. Oh! I forgot to mention, they have very good drinks. They really are intentional about the blend of flavors, they have a little something for everyone. All in all, I cannot recommend this place enough. It's been a shining star amongst Tucson restaurants and I am grateful they exist. Even to how they organize their menu partly by flavor profiles shows they genuinely LOVE food. I love food too, and I love here. Try this place. Today.

As a whole, I feel like the side pairing of challah toast with jam and butter is an odd choice. I also ordered the iced Thai tea, which was quite weak. Overall--I wasn't really feeling it. When you go to Teaspoon, you're really paying for ambience over quality. There's no issue with the service here, from hosts to wait staff. The food is simply underwhelming, and thus so is the experience. I wouldn't be mad to return, but I don't know if this would ever be my suggestion.

Big size dog in a large roll with absolutely delicious toppings. Pretty similar to a 'regular' Chicago dog but with an extra large dose of that bright-green relish and with some extra delicious mayo-type dressing, and a slice of pickle. Very tasty although extremely messy to eat. Thankfully there were plenty of napkins in a tabletop dispenser. Wife had the Sonora Dog that's popular here in Tucson. Again, big sized hot dog and bun. She loved it and ate the whole thing! We also got a Tocci, the cervche. Once again, delicious. Although ours was a small, the bag of chips was topped with a rather large helping of chilled shrimp and veggies - all with a delicious sauce. These hotdogs were the best hotdogs this side of Flo's hotdogs in Cape Nedick, Maine! El Heffe is clean and sparkling. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They also have some delicious looking ice cream (hard). How in the world anyone would have room for desert after these fantastic and huge hotdogs I sure don't know!

The girl behind the counter was friendly, and the woman preparing the food was super quick. We ordered the nachos preparados with ground beef, the birria potato, and an El Hefe Dog, and shared an ube horchata to wash it all down. Everything was really good. I usually end up with plain chips when I eat nachos but these were perfectly loaded. Every bite had jalapeños, nacho cheese, or ground beef. The birria potato was also solid but my favorite was definitely the hot dog. It was packed with flavor. The ube horchata was the perfect combo and El Hefe does it really well. I'll definitely be back to try their fresas con crema or their coffee next time!
