The man at the window was very patient and helpful. I decided to go with their unique drink called the "Snake Bite". It was amazing, I have never had anything liked it. The barista said it was a blend of their tea and espresso. Their other drinks appeal to the customers that like their drinks on the sweeter side. I got a chance to stop by Calle Coffee on Friday last week. I received a warm greeting when I walked up and had all of my questions answered quickly, plus the drink was ready in a flash. I ended up ordering the iced Matcha Latte with coffee and it was amazing. When I took a sip, it was like all the worries I had for the day disappeared. That's how good it was, truly. Let me tell you have great this drink is.....I felt like I should've gotten a large instead of a medium. The flavor is not like anything I've tasted before. It wasn't too sweet. The other drink that I tried was their Red Bull with watermelon. The flavor was great and it also gave me much energy to last throughout the day. The cart is located at the base of A Mountain (Mission and Grande), and is drive up friendly on both sides, so feel free to stay in your car to order. I was greeted by Robert who was such a friendly face first thing in the morning. I grabbed a hot horchata latta and blueberry muffin for myself and a hot white mocha for my boyfriend. The horchata latta was a nice light drink to pair with the muffin. I tend to like stronger espresso flavor, so I may add an espresso shot next time I order this one, but I definitely recommend trying! If you're feeling adventurous, ask about their other drinks (like the Aztec Mocha or the Snake Bite). Menu not too big or complex but that is a good thing because it shows what they have they will execute very well. They have a drive through service which is excellent since we're all scared to touch anything right now so I highly recommend using it or you can get out and wait very shortly for their walk up window. This coffee shop is a small trailer parked on the side of the road "below" the southeastern side of A Mountain. It's a bit hard to find, but once you do, it's easy to remember and get to.. with one exception. It's located on the outside of a big, slow bend in the road. While we were waiting for our lattes we saw a close call as a driver tried to whip across the inner lane, over the outer lane, and onto the 40+ foot wide shoulder area where the trailer is parked. I had a near-miss experience moments earlier. The challenge is that the road is a fairly major one and, with no other shops in sight, drivers are not expecting you to stop/turn, especially from the inside lane, which requires a full stop so you can cross over the outer lane and then onto the parking-lot-sized shoulder. Note: this location is their permanent location and has been for almost a year! The schedule posted on Yelp, however, is not accurate and still shows them at other locations in Tucson on different days of the week. I urged the owner - a very polite, older gentleman - to update that asap so he doesn't lose clientele. The drinks are custom made (soy/decaf/whipped cream/iced/hot -- all to your call). The best part is the novelty of their inventive flavors... and their names! Those savory are reasons enough to try this (truly) one-of-a-kind roadside cafe. read more

You could either get an iced or a hot, I went with the hot due to it being a cold rainy day. It was perfect for the day! The staff was really friendly, they let me know that both sides of the cart or drive up. So you could drive on either side of the cart and place your order. You don't have to get out of your vehicle unless you really want to. It makes it really convenient. They have a lot of options for coffee that you could take it vantage of and enjoy. I came early morning for the charcoal latte and sadly for me, I only got a small! Half way home I told my husband we should come back before they close so I can get another one!! -charcoal ice latte is a mocha flavor drink with some coconut and charcoal powder (don't worry, you can't taste the charcoal) super delicious, not too milky and not a overwhelmingly strong coffee flavor. -horchata latta is a light rice milk flavor coffee, its the perfect balance of cinnamon, rice milk and coffee. It is also not too sweet, which I love. -ranch tea is probably my FAVORITE among the 3. Smooth and earthy. That's how I can describe everything I've tried at this place. I first went because of a Yelp Elite perk to try the horchata latte, and I went back two days later because my little guy asked for the vanilla milkshake again and it gave me a chance to try a couple of other things. The horchata latte has a sweet cinnamony taste to it. Not overly sweet. It's a warm horchata with a caffeine kick. The Aztec mocha I tried my second time was a drink for gods. Again, not overly sweet, but earthy mocha taste. I kept on sipping. I can only assume it has Abuelita chocolate in it because it was not like the sweetened mocha you get at other big chain coffee places. Very smooth taste. Finally, the regular brew. Again, earthy. It reminded me of coffee from regions such as Oaxaca or Chiapas, Mexico. Not strong, but not weak, and no bitter aftertaste. I'm probably completely wrong, but it made for very smooth coffee. Service- all three times, they were very courteous and smiled. I like that they have two drive-up windows to make it easier. Location- I struggled to find it the first time. It's located on a large vacant lot that's south of Mission Gardens and directly beneath the A of "A mountain" (Sentinel peak). Calle Coffee is a cute little coffee cart with a fairly large menu of coffee drinks and smoothies (including Red Bull smoothies). They are usually parked up on Greasewood and Speedway during the week, and on weekends at the base of Tumamoc Hill, VERY close to Pima Community College West Campus (if you have time to make a quick run between classes I highly recommend)! (The owner also mentioned to me they are at Williams Center at Broadway and Swan on Mondays.) I stopped in the other day after following them on social media for far too long and ordered a Dirty Hippie (a spiced or vanilla chai with espresso). I want to give a shout out to the coffee truck that recently started serving out of the gravel lot on the southeast corner of Speedway and Greasewood. I stopped there when I was in a terrible hurry one day (no time to stop at my usual Starbucks) and it was there-- exactly at a stop light I have to stop at on my way to work. First time I ordered an Aztec mocha iced coffee. It was so good! I had a presentation to a group of my students immediately after, and I couldn't stop raving about how good that coffee was! I've also tried a regular hot latte and an iced "dirty hippie" which is like a dirty chai. Both were very good quality drinks! The service is always SUCH a pleasure. There is never a wait. They put cute stickers on their straws. I want them to make it! People need to know how delicious and convenient this coffee stop is. I don't even get out of my car and yet it gets my day going so well. They don't serve pastries or treats of any kind-- sometimes I wish I could grab a croissant or something with my coffee. Cute little coffee trailer that I have been dying to try for at least a couple months now! On my day off, I headed over to Speedway and Greasewood to get my coffee fix. I was the only one there, so Alisha (forgive my spelling if this is wrong), was patient and went over their drinks with me. I was so excited I was a bit of a spaz! They have a variety of drinks to choose from and I opted for the Snakebite - infused sweet mint tea with cinnamon and your choice of brewed coffee or espresso. Just like Alisha said, the espresso gives it more of a coffee flavor. It was sooo yummy and perfectly sweetened. Not as sweet as true southern sweet tea (sorry, I can't handle all that sugar). I also opted to take a regular cup of coffee with a pump of toasted marshmallow. I should have had another pump. My bad. Couldn't taste the marsh. Oh well! I was informed that they have their own special blend of coffee provided by Arbuckle, fun fact. To top everything off they put a cut little mustache sticker on my coffee! They are usually stationed at different places around the west side (i.e. Pima Community College West area or near the U of A. I always call to see where they are, or you can follow them on instagram for location. They usually post where they will be a day ahead. Got some iced coffee at the bottom of Tumamoc Hill. Their menu is extensive for a coffee cart. I really like the uniqueness of their syrup selection and it's not too overwhelming with options. My friend got a Dirty Hippy which is chai with espresso in it. It was delicious, good spicy chai that wasn't too sweet. And I got a basic iced coffee. Both delicious. Very friendly employees!
