I think so…read more La Palma may be the closest experience in Tucson to the Baja fish tacos I could find throughout Southern California. Their big white food trailer is topped with a large blue tarp that shades a comfortable seating area. The location is kiddy corner from a gleaming white church at the opposite side of the intersection. In a short time, La Palma has become my go-to for fish tacos because the quality is consistent and they know how to dress the tacos with the right combination of flavors. Additionally, they make a mean horchata that compliments the meal perfectly. I'm probably in the wrong crowds because I have not heard other people mention La Palma while praising quite lesser places. I don't get it. All I can say is that for those SoCal folks who are passing through Tucson and are hankering for good fish tacos, pull up to La Palma and be overjoyed. P.S. The folks here are very nice and welcoming.

The Culichi sauce was much thinner than usual, and the quality and portion of the shrimp seemed to have changed. There were only a few shrimp in the dish, and they were noticeably smaller than what we've received during previous visits. The shrimp ceviche was still enjoyable, although the flavor also seemed a little different than usual. Overall, it was still a delicious meal, and we'll definitely be back because we've always had great experiences here.
