Yes, delicious, well seasoned with a lot of flavor. My husband ordered the grilled fish tacos and he said it was good as well. They give you some mango salsa for the tacos. Service: we sat at a high table by the bar and this cute robot server was going around delivering the food orders. We sat on a high table so we didn't get to be served by the robot but that's ok because Nayeli (I think that was our bar server) did an excellent job taking care of us. Had high hopes for this place, upon entering the aroma is extremely inviting in fact it had my mouth watering. I was looking forward to tasting some really delicious seafood.. My first option was to try the fish, but when I heard what type of fish they were using, I kindly declined. Opted for the calamari with a side salad with ranch I'm a settle at the calamari was good. It was nice and fresh and hot, but the salad was disgusting. I asked for ranch and they put some type of dressing which turns out to be dressing for coleslaw. I advised my waitress to her response was that's the first time I heard someone not lagging it. Interesting didn't offer to switch it out for a plain salad or to switch it for french fries especially since I paid extra to get a salad.. At our table, we also have the chicken strips which is plentiful. It's enough to feed the entire table in fact, so lots of leftovers of that that was also good because it was fresh and hot. My son went for the combo with the snow, crab legs, shrimp, potatoes, and corn. He also said it was delicious, but I don't believe I'll come back. It's unfortunate cause I really did wanna like this place, but without being offered a substitute or the exact same salad minus the dressing that was placed on it that did not taste very good at all. Once upon a time,I had a "boil" supper back East and it was B.L.A.N.D. And I said to myself, "this boil thing is overated and lacks zip" and I put the whole boil supper cuisine aside and did not revisit it for decades. Sure, I had blue crabs boiled in Old Bay and boiled lobster treading pools of butter, but not that distinctive boil supper with shellfish, taters, and corn all heaped together and served on a plastic table cloth. UNTIL NOW IN LANDLOCKED TUCSON - and it was good! I had Bag O' Crab and I have to say that a boil supper - done right - is a really good thing to eat. There was zip and spice and butter and garlic and choices of sauces and all the go-ins. The seafood was delicious. Yes, please. NOT bland. For the record, we had four people sharing the Louisiana sauced combo #1 medium with added mussels and the garlic and butter sauced combo #2 medium. We could have backed off on the spice a bit and been happy, but medium just kept us lit up a bit more. We added an order of garlic fries after seeing it delivered to another table. Good move! The service was impeccable. These servers know how to pour the contents of a super hot, steaming bag of eats onto a platter like nobody's business. They make it look easy, but it is not. No mess. No fuss. And jokes and southern accents all thrown in. Soda and water refills kept on coming. Check ins happened on a regular basis without being annoying at all. And the server robot was a fun little gimmick. I would only say that the server should have offered us dessert rather than just ask if we wanted anything else. I think one of us would have said yes to a little sweet to balance the spice. Now, mind, eating a boil with a yummy sauce is a MESSY affair so don't wear your prom dress or even your nicer clothes. Finally had the opportunity to try Bag O' Crab, and I was not disappointed. One of my favorite things ever is a low country boil, and I always enjoy finding a new one. My husband and I got a bag with snowcrab legs, head off shrimp and mussels with corn, potato and sausage and the medium garlic butter. It was DELICIOUS. Love that we have another Cajun seafood place! We came here on a weekend and tried a mixed meal of crawfish, shrimp, crawfish, potato, and sausage. Wow, perfectly cooked shrimp is not the easiest to find and they did it well here! Absolutely loved the sauce options as well. We went for a mild sauce. As a vegetarian who is gluten-free but eats salmon, I found the menu very limited. I had to be brave and choose the ONLY dish that was somewhat an option - the cod with mango salsa, rice, and a salad. It was fresh and fine, but not memorable. My friend's experience with the same dish was similar. I also had to wait several minutes for the hot sauce I'd requested with my order, only to get a Cajun hot sauce that was more oily mess than flavor. The men in our group ordered the bag meals and enjoyed them, though we felt they didn't quite match the price. The servers were kind but not especially attentive. They have one of those little robots that go around and deliver drinks or help servers bring food to a table. It wasn't used for our table but it was traveling around the restaurant. I ordered the pre chosen (not build your own) seafood bag which was C3, and I chose the Dungeness crab. The sauce they use is very good, the sausage, potatoes and corn were great. Shrimp was good as well. Now when it came to the crab itself, it was actually pretty flavorless and dry on its own, but dipping it in the sauce helped. Well, this place is sort of like angry crab so if you're familiar with that restaurant, then you'll really enjoy this place. Not only do they have the wait staff, but they also have a robot that comes around and delivers your food once in a while. Jesse was our waiter and he did an amazing job. We started off with a cup of the clam chowder, which was different but good. While waiting for our meals, we saw some other foods come out. One of them was the chicken basket which was a platter of fried chicken tenders. We will definitely be back to try that. The Wife was not sure how to take apart the main part of the dungeons crab, so the waiter came over to do so noticed that it was not cooked all the way and brought out a brand new crab and was nice enough to take it apart from my wife. We probably could've easily just shared a meal, but not realizing the portion that you would get out of it. A big differences between angry crab and bag of crab is that they don't just leave you the bag. They bring a round cylinder plate to dump your food into which is something that I really liked. Wow!! This place is super busy! We were told there would be a 40 min wait but it only ended up being about 20 minutes. Once we were seated we were immediately greeted by Grace, our server. She couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We had a small child with us and she made sure that he was taken care of first. The orders all came out via robot. You could "pet the robot" and it would purr like a cat. This was quite entertaining for the little one. Once the food came out Grace offered to remove it from the bag for us. Had lunch here recently. After confirming that the lobster in the lobster roll was fresh and not frozen I ordered the "Maine" lobster roll with an upgrade to onion rings. Being from Boston I'm very particular about lobster rolls which I have frequently when back east. The lobster roll I received was a huge disappointment and nothing like an actual lobster roll purchased at places along the Maine coast. The lobster consisted of small pieces and not chunks. There was virtually no taste to the lobster and the dressing was some concoction rather than plain mayonnaise which is all that is needed to enhance the taste of Maine lobster. The onion rings were OK but I have a strong suspicion that they were frozen and not freshly made. All in all this was not a good experience and I will not be returning. The service was good when it was provided by real people. The robots used to deliver the food to the server were a real annoyance with the music coming out of them. read more

Delicious seafood, excellent and fast service... what's not to like?  First time to Bag O'Crab.  I heard this relatively new restaurant was worth a try, and it did not disappoint.  Had a "seafood bag" which is basically a clear bag within which all kinds of seafood is cooked together with flavorings to infuse the flavor into the food.  They then bring it to your table boiling hot, and open it right in front of you.  You specify what seafood you want, some vegetables like corn or potatoes, and then specify the type of seasoning and then the spice level.  It was fantastic.  They bring you plastic disposable gloves so you can eat with your hands and not get the spices on them, plus have a seafood bib, etc.  Also love the "handwashing station" to clean your hands before / after eating.  They have other items like oysters on the half shell, grilled fish, salads, and seafood sandwiches (Po Boys) that I did not try.  Service was excellent - super fast / attentive, and the manager stopped by twice to ask how everything was.  Clean / fun / nice interior, no waiting for a table, and easy to get to / lots of parking.  Happy to recommend. read more

Our service was so kind and they also have a robot-server named Thelma which is a fun feature. The menu was very simple and straightforward. We ordered 2 of the #2 combos and added mussels. Each combo came with snow crab, head off shrimp, mussels, potatoes, sausage, and corn. The food came out hot and the seasoning was perfect for us but a little too spicy for my mom and we only added 'a little bit of spice' LOL. We also tried the fried oyster basket for appetizer. It came with 6 pieces and french fries. We were all satisfied at the end of the meal. Including tip we paid $170.39; this was one of the best seafood boils for the value that we've encountered! Should have tried the boiled seafood because we weren't impressed with the lunch offerings. I was expecting bigger flavors in the Cajun fish lunch plate. It was barely seasoned - didn't even taste a hint of anything Cajun- and the only flavor on the plate came from the mango onion relish.
