One of my friends tweeted that it was "Truck Exhaust + Good Eats". That kind of sums it up. That being said there were also huge lines, I waited for about an hour for MaFooCo and my friend waited an hour and a half for Planet of the Crepes. The food that was well worth the wait, but like a boy scout you should be prepared. Take heed if you plan on going to an event like this, get here when it starts to avoid the long lines or divide and conquer sending members of your group to different trucks and sample together. Our group was able to hit 5 different hot-spot trucks using the divide and conquer approach. Seating is limited so if you have some folding chairs they will come in handy. There is a huge value in this event for those of us who don't work near a food truck. It's a casual and inexpensive way to get to try foods off the beaten path. I will definitely be at the next Round-up!

The staff were really friendly and inviting. The pineapple juice was fresh and delicious I highly recommend. Pork isn't my meat of choice usually so I was kind of bummed to hear they don't have asada until 4 pm. Since I had driven all the way here I tried the pork tacos and vampiro and it was seasoned well it canceled out the pork taste a lot but not fully. I got this to go and the avocado kind of oxidized so I wish they had put it in an aluminum foil. 3.5 /5

So heads up if you ever go here order only one roll don't order more than one. You will get pretty full on just the one. I thought the flavoring and the way everything was dressed were quite delightful and delicious. I really didn't see too big of fish meat chunks in there, but I thought the crab meat portion sizes were pretty big. I definitely recommend this place. If you've never tried it it is worth a try. My Wife wasn't too thrilled with it, but I thought it was actually pretty good. I definitely recommend trying this place!

So, I haven't went anywhere to specifically try Carne Asada in Tucson for a while, and I know, I…read moreneed to get out more, I am a Yelp Elite after all, right? So I changed that and went to Zahid's. So to remind you, good Carne Asada has the following: 1. Seasoned 2. Juicy 3. Tender 4. Good cut(no grisle, not cut like kibble ect) So Zahid's is mildly seasoned, it's juicy, but not super juicy? But that's because it was chopped to all hell so it was like steak kibble. But the cut itself was of solid quality so it wasn't wholly bad, but I also wasn't excited by it. It was tender, but again, that was minimized because they chopped it like Parsely. The burrito had mozzarella cheese and cabbage. I was under the impression it came with beans in it, but it didn't, they came on the side. I think that was better, the beans were in a watery, yet flavorful broth that would've masked the mild flavored steak. I really wanted to give this 4 stars, but I can't on this slightly above average Carne Asada. What made this burrito good was the pickled onions and jalapeño salsa. But sauce or salsa in this case, shouldn't carry your food. At all. That means you're not making it right. Anyway, it's worth noting the tortilla was really good and the burro, a medium, was a decent size. I will return to get the Al Pastor, it looked good. But for Asada? Probably not? If I did, it would be a taco.

Percheron Mexican grill is just a food truck with some outdoor covered seating. If that's not your thing, they also have a real restaurant 3 minutes away. The menu is pretty sizable (literally and physically)! The classic Percheron is diezmillo steak, mozzarella, avocado, tomato, onion, mayo, wrapped in a flour tortilla and bacon! $15. I was behind two parties of two and my food took 15 minutes. I opted to take the food to go, since it was 9:45 pm. Thats always a risk because the food might not be as fresh as when it's freshly served. The woman ahead of me asked for well done crispy bacon wrap. I should have done the same, but I wanted to try it the standard way first. I really wanted to love this, but the standard soggy bacon wrap is not my thing. My stomach could not cope with the grease either -- this looks like pretty low quality bacon that is mostly fat. I was pretty disappointed and only finished half!

Yes the place is in not the best neighborhood but the burrito makes up for it. The meat was perfect the tortilla was killer! So good that on our last day in town we picked up breakfast burritos from there. Sooooo giant and soooo delish! Thank you!

These churros are the real deal!…read more They are the most authentically made churros I've tried out in the Tucson area --They can give Disneyland a run for their money. For the price, you get a hefty bag of churros. They're fresh off the fryer, nice and hot. They do not come with a dipping sauce as they are covered in brown sugar and cinnamon. Delightful. Not much of an ambience, as this is on the street. Not complaining here -- I was ready to grab and go. They will get a point taken off due to lack of operating, hours. I wish there was a tentative service hour placed on yelp or Google as it was difficult to find them operating on the address listed. I see tremendous potential for this business growing and capturing a loyal following if the hours were consistent or visible to newcomers. Wishing this business the best of luck.
