Friendly servers, relaxing and comfortable indoor-outdoor seating in a quiet setting where fabulous pastries are baked by JoJo's each day. We had a cinnamon roll and it was truly heavenly along with the good tasting Decibel coffee. Of all the coffee places we've visited, the Dandelion ranks right at the top. I see this becoming a favorite place to visit all year round. "Owner Carolyn O'Connor and Ben Schneider (Ben's mother is Jo Schneider of LaCo and the former Bentley's House of Coffee and Tea) are a dream team in the local culinary scene. Jo spent more than 10 years running LaCo day before turning control over to her son and O'Connor during the pandemic. The folks running the cafe are so genuinely kind bringing back memories from Bentley's next to UA before it closed. Fast and friendly service, so many homemade syrup options and baked goods, and some breakfast burritos (with veggie options) and premade sandwiches on their homemade focaccia that I need to come back and try. The cardamom honey latte was delicious and I would love to enjoy their patio seating with a good book soon.

I ordered the ham and cheese croissant with Black Forest ham, Swiss cheese, béchamel sauce and Dijon mustard. The owner heated it for me on the spot, and it was heavenly--flaky, rich, savory and satisfying. I also tried the Biscoff Banana Butterscotch Panna Cotta, which is essentially four layers of utter decadence with a surprisingly wonderful combination of flavors and textures. The owner was very helpful and hospitable, which made the visit even more enjoyable. This is the newer Café Français location; there is also a much older, well-established location in Tempe. My only criticism is a slightly ironic one for a place called a café: there is no espresso machine, only drip coffee. So if you want the full French-breakfast experience with one of these pastries and a proper cappuccino, latte or other espresso-based drink, you can't quite get everything in one place. It is also definitely on the pricey side, but for an occasional splurge, the quality seems worth it. I'll absolutely be back to work my way through many of the other delicacies in that display case.

I ordered it with caramel and just a tiny bit of milk, and it was pretty good. You can tell they use quality coffee, and the cold brew had a nice flavor to it. The prices were a little high, but honestly, that seems to be pretty standard for smaller boutique coffee shops these days. Overall, a nice little coffee shop with good coffee and a cool location. I'd definitely stop by again if I'm in the area.
