I visited today to enjoy some milk tea and ordered the matcha milk tea. Unfortunately, the matcha quality was subpar, and the boba had an off taste, as if it had been sitting out for an extended period. My husband tried the strawberry milk tea, which he found to be just average. Additionally, I inquired about the difference between the Taiwan milk tea and the Thai tea, but the response I received was uninformative. She said "one is from Taiwan and one is from Thai" I expected more detailed information about the flavor profiles or ingredients. I will not be visiting again read more

This is a review for the donuts only . I don't like them. They don't taste good. Had the strawberry and also the boba. Intriguing things but the flavor is not great and they cost $2.50 each, or something like that. They are about 2-1/2" in diameter. Their drink menu looks interesting with bobas and slushies. I will try them next time 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? On our way from TX to CA we wanted boba tea. So we looked on the map for a boba location and this little place popped up. It's 6pm and there is no one in there. Since we still have a long way to drive we ordered several. We got coconut tea with popping strawberry boba, creamy avocado with tapioca boba, honeydew with tapioca boba, and watermelon tea with popping green apple boba. And a chocolate tea with no boba. The drinks are very sugary, but still tasty. The popping bobas are interesting yet fun. They're full of the flavor you ask for. They have many different flavors. I also found an interesting mochi boba donut. I have not tasted it yet but I can't wait. The cost is average. The service is good, and they made recommendations. And it didn't take long for us to get our order. If you're in AZ you ought to try out these fun beverages. read more

Stopped by this plaza to grab some dinner at Hot Wok and saw a new shop for boba and mochi. Decided to stop in and ordered a house milk tea along with taro and some add ins. The drinks were great and were quickly served. The mochi donut is what I would assume a mochi donut would taste like after having mochi many times. The amount of toppings was okay for $.60 each, but I did have a hard time with the boba. Unfortunately the boba was undercooked and gritty in the middle, it wasn't really pleasant and I was dreading each time they came up the straw and it wasn't the lychee. I think with having boba in the name this item should be good if not perfect, but it just wasn't. I'm hoping later on they can perfect the cooking times, but it wasn't a win for me this time. This is a small family owned Boba spot that has only been open a few months and I have tried them a couple of times. I wouldn't say they are bad but they are not the best I have tried either. It is a very minimally decorated spot and there are a decent amount of beverage options to try. I can see potential for them. The service is always nice and fast and they offer a punch card option. The boba here is NOT good! It's very undercooked and bland. The boba was so hard that I only finished the drink and didn't bother trying to get any of the boba. I ordered the house milk tea and it had a strange sweet flavor - I could not taste any tea at all. The shop was also very plain and empty. The walls are bare and there's no decorations. The mochi donuts also looked unappetizing. They were individually packaged in plastic and had no frosting. I've had delicious mochi donuts before and these looked very low effort. Stopped by and got some boba and mochi donuts. I got the pomegranate green tea with boba and my dad got the mango green tea with boba. Very good we both enjoyed our drinks even though mine was a little bit sweet when I asked for less sugar but it didn't bother me too much. This is my first visit. Like other reviewer's, I would have to agree the decor is very minimalistic but they make up for that with staff that is super friendly! They took the time to explain the difference between the jellies (which is really just that - like a little slice of jelly that requires a bite or two) and the popping boba (which gives a burst of flavored juice when you bite down). The house tea tastes similar to Thai tea but is their own personal blend of 4 teas. Tastes great and now I'm fully caffeinated. Anyway, this is a great small business I would recommend. read more

So excited for a boba shop in Rita Ranch! Was going to go yesterday but saw they are closed Mondays, so I tried it today. The shop is still being set up and decor, etc. added but it's clean and the attendant was friendly and helpful. Lots of flavors of drinks and mochi donuts, but I just went with the house milk tea and the original plain donut. My drink was very nice and the boba was nicely cooked. The mochi donut was light, spongey, and pleasant. Next time I think I'll try a flavored donut. This was a nice little lunch break for me, and I hope it will become a fun place for Rita Ranch to gather! read more

There aren't many boba places near me, so I come here when I am dying for a boba fix and happen to be near by. I haven't had a bad experience or an amazing one. It's very neutral and not really the best. The drinks are somewhat bland. Tapioca is a bit over cooked and mushy. Mochi donuts are not flavorful, but maybe it's just not what I'm in to. The service is always very nice and the ambiance is pleasant. Always kept clean which is appreciated. Wait times can be long depending on the day, but with only one person working, I give a lot of grace and props for the ability to get the job done and as promptly as possible. Some flavors are better than others flavor wise, but I've been to several boba shops and this one is just not my personal favorite. I would come back if shopping at Safeway and in the mood to stop in. I don't hate it, but I'm not obsessed. Someone who hasn't had boba before or hasn't been on the hunt for the perfect boba like I have, I could really see liking it here. If I could give 0 I would. I bought 8 donuts, 4 chocolate and 4 strawberry. The chocolate was great but there was was absolutely no flavor in the strawberry. I took them back all the way from Green Valley and asked for a refund on the 3 uneaten strawberry donuts. The girls were perplexed and said there was strawberries in there. We'll not enough to even get the slightest hint of strawberry. I said I tried everyday to call them, but they have no phone and it's a small family business and they'd be answering the phone all the time. We'll, that a part of being in business, your customer should be able to get in touch with you. Then as I walked out the door they both laughed like it was some big joke. I'll never be back. Not only we're they the worlds worst donuts but they were also the worlds rudest. Don't put little kid/teenagers in the front of the house. If your trying to build a business. After living in Japan, I was really excited to see a mochi donut store! I missed these donuts so much that I thought the high cost per item was worth it. The donuts were more like mochi the candy-like item, not the mochi donuts I know. They were too chewy & dense, really small, the flavor was almost nonexistent, and they weren't trimmed so they looked sloppy. I was really disappointed, they really missed the mark and are not worth the price.
