We ordered two fresh taro milk teas with 50% sweetness and no ice. My husband just wanted boba, while I got boba and egg pudding in the drink, plus scoops of fresh taro paste on the side. You can also get the taro paste on top of your drink if you prefer. They don't have spoons, but I made it work with my straw. The no ice option does cost extra, but it's worth it. Same goes for the toppings, which is pretty standard. I'm also glad we went with less sweetness. It was just right. A lot of places use powdered taro, but I'm so happy we found a spot that serves fresh taro paste. I love the consistency and flavor. It's something you just don't get with powders. It tasted amazing. I ordered a roasted oolong milk tea with grass jelly and the tea was enough to curb that tea craving. The oolong flavor came through nicely and had a good nutty flavor to it. I could've passed on the grass jelly though as it was more on the milder tasting side and a little harder on consistency in comparison to other grass jellies. I also am conflicted on the qipao/cheongsam styled tops for all workers. I grew up wearing qipao dresses and feel they are for special events. My go to drink is the honeydew smoothie with boba, but I decided to try the tucson sunset, which is a mix of dragon fruit and passion fruit. When you order, you can choose your sweetness. Regular is 100% sweetness, so if you want less sugar, be sure to lower that to 50%. All the drinks are delicious, you really can't go wrong with any of them. My favorite flavor is still honeydew. I really like that you can choose how sweet you would like your drink (100%, 75%, 50%, or 25%) alongside the option of lactose free and alternative milks. I had the Fresh Brown Sugar Milk with warm brown sugar boba, roasted brown sugar syrup, and oat milk which was incredible. We also tried the Strawberry Milk Tea and loved it. They were so kind and let me sample the cream cheese topping and I'll absolutely be adding that to my drink next time.
