I love the creativity of this boba shop. They have so many unique options including cheesecake cold foam, snow served drinks, energy boba, and more. They even have drinks named after regulars whose custom combos became popular. It makes the whole experience feel personal and community oriented. The shop supports local artists and is such a fun place to hang out. My husband and I played foosball while we waited and had way too much fun. My goalie needs to work on her skills... lol (yes I do). Customer service was great, and you can tell the team truly enjoys what they do and loves creating new drink ideas. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and will be back! read more

It has been a minute since I'd been to Lucky's but I've always thought they have good boba tea, so when my kids and I wanted boba... To Lucky's we went! It didn't disappoint! My kids got a slush and a snow, while I got a taro milk tea with popping boba. We also were excited they have summer specials, so we got a cute free keychain! We will be back again soon! read more

Lucky’s Boba Tea - Waffle fries and Strawberry milk tea with tapioca boba - Bubble Tea Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

(Keep in mind the person writing this review is an insufferable matcha snob) With that out of the way, I'll be nice and do the pros first. Service was excellent, helpful, recommended food the best food on the menu, and gave me two options either to mix my strawberry syrup in or have it on rim of the cup. The battered shrimp were actually very tasty with a good squid and hot mayo drizzle, only sad part was it ended so quickly! Now for the bad. Whenever a matcha comes out and it's more brown than green I always know I'm going to be disappointed. Tasted more like milk than matcha in my humble opinion. Now I ordered the small, and ending up paying more than $7 for my drink. I actually almost fainted at that price! In total my small app and drink were about $17 dollars which for only a few more dollars I could have had an actual meal... Overall there are better boba joints in Tucson, but if you're in the area and want to try could be worth. I am willing to accept maybe I just ordered the worst thing on the menu. read more

Lucky's used to be my go-to spot and I can't believe how long it's been since I stopped by! On a whim, I decided to pop in and I ordered the Pumpkin Batch which was Pumpkin Chai Milk Tea with tapioca, whipped cream, cinnamon, and pumpkin drizzle. This was absolutely delicious! The pumpkin flavor was noticeable but not overwhelming and the mix with the chai was really delicious. I'm a huge pumpkin fanatic and since it's still hot out, the iced option was perfect. I will say that the drinks lean towards being a bit more expensive than you might find elsewhere but the service was great and it's a very cute and convenient spot. They frequently have specials so I would definitely keep an eye out for those! I'm excited to try more drinks, especially their seasonal or limited time drinks! It looks like they also serve some appetizer-style food so if you're hungry, there's also some food options for you! read more

I've been to Lucky's several times, and I've never had a bad experience. It smells great in there, the menu is huge (maybe somewhat hard to follow with all the scattered options posted in different places), the servers are always friendly and provide fast service, and the drinks never disappoint. My favorite is the lavender milk tea with boba. Some boba places have an overly artificially sweet taste, but the sweetness at Lucky's is just right. Love their flavors! read more

Have to say the inside huge improvement really happy they got rid of the freezer that was in inside dinning area. They have plenty of games and chalk design on the wall is done beautifully now and had cute touch of staff favorites. The only down side is I don't know if I had a bad batch but my boba was very bad. Seemed like it was undercooked extremely hard and had a gritty texture when I chewed in the middle of it. read more

Wonderful customer service, and yummy tea! The owner was super helpful, and promptly made a big group order. I will definitely be back!

When trying a new boba place I always go for the classic milk teas. Anyone can mix a powder, but real tea takes skills. The employee was really nice in helping me pick the right drink and sweetness! I asked which drinks have real brewed tea and they said the only option was the Jasmine milk tea. I opted for regular sweetness and boba. The milk tea was very good and I think could even be 75% sweet. It was creamy and the tea and floral flavors came out nicely. But unfortunately the boba was really bad and jelly-like. I think this is normal at this location as my cousin had the same experience a few months ago Great atmosphere for studying and plenty of outlets plus free parking. I really want to love it! I had never been to Lucky's before but was really excited to stop in because we love Boba! We walked in and I was able to see their vast menu, with so many different options for everyone. They even have food along with the Boba, which is really nice. The service was great. They did one drink at a time which was nice. They didn't have a line, and the ambience of the place was really nice as well. I will be back. read more

The people are so nice and the inside is so pretty! The menu is huge and I was intimidated a bit but it's so cool. I don't go to boba shops often due to how busy but this place is not too busy and it has the best service ever! They even have goodies! The boba is AMAZING!!!!! I got the bear down which is everything I love with flavor and it all goes together so amazingly! read more

Great spot for boba on the northwest side! Clean and always prompt. Pretty much on par with other places in town. Love their horchata and Thai tea flavors. Great selection of items. If not for the pandemic, they also have some fun board games and tables to sit at. The staff has always been attentive and helpful. Convenient stop on the way home from Safeway! read more

This is my favorite place in Tucson to get Boba. My go-to is a snow with horchata and vanilla - mmmmm..... so tasty! There are a lot of different flavors and most of them are vegan. The staff are always very friendly and great to offer suggestions if you are unsure what you want to try. read more

Found this place by chance when we were dropping off some items at the Goodwill a few stores down. I am so glad we didn't pass it up. This place has every kind of boba tea you can imagine. Wish I could report on how good the drinks were, but we didn't even get to try them. There were a few other parties inside when we walked in, but no one in line. My boyfriend and I stood at the counter waiting to order while the two women working made drinks for other customers. We stood there for 5 minutes as they made drinks right in front of us and didn't once even look up at us or say "hello, it'll just be a minute." We felt invisible. As someone who has worked in multiple customer service and restaurant jobs, I was baffled by the complete apathy of the employees. I totally understand being busy and don't mind waiting, but to be completely ignored was uncomfortable and rude. We ended up leaving after 5 minutes of standing there. Too bad! read more

Favorite boba spot in marana! The employees are friendly and I love trying their drink creations.

Great place on the NW side of town. Slightly hidden in a strip mall on twin peaks. Iced milk tea with boba is my go to. Their milk teas are delicious. Service was quick, ordering easy and plenty of flavor options. If you like boba tea, definitely give this place a try. Great place to stop on your way to Phoenix. read more

Cool neighborhood boba spot. I wish I would have known it was there earlier!! My son and I love to grab a boba after school.

Great customer service! So great to have boba tea place in the neighborhood. I always get the Vietnamese coffee.

Today my wife and I were craving Boba and decided just to go to the closest boba place because we were being lazy. LUCKILY, the closest place to us was Lucky's Boba Tea. We ended up getting the large iced milk teas with boba to enjoy on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. I have to say I'm surprised that this place wasn't more busy on a Sunday afternoon. I mean, for us it was good because we were able to get our Boba teas quickly, but it makes me wonder if they are getting enough traffic to stay in business. I definitely think this place deserves more attention. The staff was friendly and quick. We will definitely be returning soon. This place could definitely be dangerous for our budget because it's so good! We're excited to try all the different types of drinks as it appears that this place has a pretty big selection! read more

Love the boba here. Great consistency. Milk tea has a rich flavor where you can taste the separate notes in it. Staff is friendly and helpful. Store is clean. They even have games at the tables if you want to play with your friends! read more

After a year of not having boba I decided to stop in as we like to shop local. We were not acknowledged when we walked in which is "expected" these days. There were 3 teenagers in front of me paying with cash (all $1s and a few coins). The girl behind the counter, and the only person there, was not able to figure out how to count the cash. We waited for 10 minutes thinking another employee would show up to help and no one else came. She was still attempting to count the cash for the $14 and change order when we decided to leave. I do not know how she could be left alone or trusted with the register and customers. It was very frustrating and we went to the new chain place up the road. read more

My husband and I tried their boba for the 1st time recently. I ordered my usual taro boba tea and it had a good taro flavor. The boba pearls however did not have the typical chew to it, but was more of a jelly texture which I thought was odd. I'd still like to try it again to see if there's a difference, otherwise I'll order with other topping instead. They also have snack food options that I'd like to try as well :) read more

We are boba lovers and visit Boba stores in every state. This is an amazing find! The boba flavors are great. Vietnamese ice coffee was nice and strong. We loved the unusual star jellies! We also ordered the egg rolls, mozzarella sticks and popcorn chicken. All of them were great. Nice and crunchy. Egg rolls in particular were perfect. Very traditional Vietnamese pork egg rolls just like my grandmother makes. We always pre make, freeze then fry because it comes out crispiest that way. Highly recommend! read more

I tried the matcha milk tea. It was nice and smooth without a grainy powder taste. It was a nice store, clean and bright. The service was good and quick. There was an sitting area with games if you want to hang out. Located in a small strip mall before the Twin Peaks on/off ramps. read more

Lucky's doesn't have anything particularly special on their menu, but they do have a great atmosphere. It is one of the few places where young adults, families, and couples can all go without the place being skewed or biased toward one population. They have a lot of board and card games to play and a great music selection, which is usually picked by whoever is manning the counter at the time. I always get the Java Chip snow with boba and it pretty tasty. It isn't really pricey and they do have a loyalty rewards card that has some decent perks. read more

Hands down the best boba in Marana and arguably Tucson! Their boba is consistently the perfect texture and their drinks are on point. The Vietnamese ice coffee is killer--if you need to stay awake and/or get some work done, get the Vietnamese ice coffee with boba (you won't be disappointed). They have board games and a chill atmosphere inside. The tables have power outlets, which makes it a great place to study and get some work done (and free wifi!). They also have a few couches for more laid back conversations. Support and check out another small business! read more
